Workers At Obama's Soviet Concrete Butt Plug Tower of Ego Threaten to Unionize Over Low Wages and Long Hours

Here's my guess: They don't work very hard and they're paid more than they're worth.

I hate to defend the Stuttering Clusterf*** of a Miserable Failure like that, but I bet he hired a bunch of DEI dregs who are surprised they're being "coerced" into working at all.

We'll have to see, though.

Either way, I'm glad to see the SCOAMF is being inconvenienced by the Marxism he champions.

Workers at Obama's 'Death Star' presidential library strike back, vow to unionize over benefit cuts, 'increasing workloads'

Employees at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago are unionizing over their working conditions, claiming their benefits have been cut and workloads are increasing just four months after the center opened in June.

Workers circulated a letter to staff Wednesday announcing their intent to unionize, complaining about "increasing" workloads "vague responses" from administrators to a list of complaints they'd raised, the Chicago Sun Times reported.

Some of the complaints suggested that the $900 million presidential center could already be facing financial trouble.

That would be nice.

Such complaints have led to a "high turnover rate," with exiting employees "taking with them their institutional knowledge and expertise."

You're clerks with jobs teenagers used to do.

Just how vital those four months of "institutional knowledge" was remains unclear, but the letter cited recent halting of raises and promotions, an increase in their healthcare costs and a reduction of paid time off as being chief among their woes.

"If I were looking for a good job that lets me build some security for my family, I'd join a union. If I saw a problem in my workplace, I'd organize my coworkers to do something about it," the letter quoted Obama.

The Obama Foundation, which financed construction of the library, had $1.1 million in assets last year -- but revenue fell from $210 million in 2024 to $159 million, according to tax documents.

I doubt Gay Lightbringer hired anyone. The budget money was spread around to politically connected firms and companies who took a nice fat cut and then subcontracted the work.

The subcontractors did the same.

By the time the money got to anyone who might actually build the Stone Chode, there was not enough left, so they cut corners and stiffed anyone they could, which would include the workers.

Their only "revenue" is from entrance fees and donations? $159M seems like a lot, to me, for Bath House Barry. Has he paid off his contractors yet? Or is that too a sort of "forced donation", like Obama would love to have the whole country make to his commie cause?

I was wondering about that oxymoron so I asked ChatGPT and the answer is actually funny:

>>The biggest practical issue appears to be money. Recent reporting says the foundation began with about $4 million left from Biden’s 2021 inauguration and has so far raised only a small fraction of what a modern stand-alone presidential center could cost.

So, at the moment: Delaware is chosen, a board exists, fundraising has begun, and a museum/civic center is envisioned—but there is still no announced parcel, architect, design, groundbreaking date, or opening date.

"I am angry tonight.

Because today ICE shot a New Yorker. They shot a New Yorker while his five year old child was in the car.

ICE makes this city less safe.

We want them out. Now."

Why on earth did Mamdani and Hochul get a TWO-HOUR phone call with Mullin and, reportedly, Trump over the shooting of that illegal alien with a rap sheet as long as Michelle's fake eyelashes? Good lord. "Get the president on the phone!" And president picks up, damn.

190 2 What work could they possibly have to do there? Polish his statues?

It is such a big building, what do they produce, what is their revenue?

They don't produce anything yet, but that hardened media center (which is not a 'library') appears well-suited to coordinating a national Islamunist uprising and armed revolution. Once that long-term project is complete, the insider clique that controls the new levers of state power will all be effectively multi-mega-trillionaires, from essentially confiscating everything everywhere.

That annual income has got to be complete bullshit.

...Well, unless they've got some kind of money laundering operation going on in there.

Then maybe, since the USAID scam had been curtailed.

192 Isaias is also used in the King James Bible: the committees doing the translation didin’t consult each other how to translate the names so sometimes it’s Isaiah, sometimes Isaias, which is closer to the Koine Greek.

201 Seriously, folks!

You KNOW that place had to have been built by crooked fly-by-night DEI contractors, right? We should start a pool on how many years it takes for the place to be condemned, and then how many years it sits there being a public nuisance, because there's no money to tear it down.

Is 20 years too long?

We could also wager on whether anybody gets killed, because they refuse to condemn chocolate Messiah's Holy Temple, when it needs to be, and it starts falling apart.

202 It sort of looks like there isn't going to be a Biden presidential library. That's OK.
