The U.S. Senate candidates in Texas could hardly be more different: James Talarico, a former seminarian turned Democratic state lawmaker who speaks in calm cadences about love and empathy, and Ken Paxton, the pugnacious Republican state attorney general who speaks about a refusal to compromise.

This language is laughably loaded and biased.
Describing Paxton as 'pugnacious' and 'non-compromising' while portraying Talarico as a 'calm' 'seminarian' is preposterous.
Talarico is a mouth-foaming radical who is so far out of the mainstream that he would stand out in Portland as a kook. He is creepily obsessed with mutilating and sterilizing other people's children. His economic policies are straight out of the DSA manual, and neither his church nor his seminary affirm the deity or necessity of Christ.

Balls were dropped in the case of the Muslim extremist FlyDubai co-pilot.

A string of security failures across Oman, the UAE and Israel allowed the flydubai co-pilot to get into the cockpit, a Wall Street Journal investigation has found. The lapses nearly led to an aviation disaster reminiscent of 9/11, despite authorities having reasons to be concerned about him.
The failures began in Oman, where authorities had scrutinised Hamam al-Hammami's online activity and found he showed too much interest in radical ideology to be trusted as a pilot at state carrier Oman Air. They banned him from flying, sent him to a deradicalisation programme and moved him to a desk job, but did not broadly communicate their concerns about him.
Oman flagged him, but the warning did not travel
When al-Hammami joined flydubai in February, the airline did not contact Oman to vet his previous experience, the WSJ reported. It conducted a criminal-background check, but the earlier concerns that had led Oman to remove him from flying were not passed on to the new employer. The operator, flydubai, later assigned him to the sensitive Tel Aviv route, which he flew multiple times.
Oman's handling of the case also created another missed opportunity. People familiar with the matter said that had the country formally withdrawn al-Hammami's pilot licence over its concerns, the action would likely have been flagged to the UAE. Instead, the concerns about his extremism were not communicated more widely.

Even Israel dropped the ball. Which means that hormone-drenched madwoman Ana Kasparian is about to accuse them of deliberately allowing the poor Muslim to be used as a prop for Mossad propaganda.

Airline operator flydubai had submitted the manifest for Flight 1073, but Israel's transportation ministry said it did not believe it had the authority or expertise to vet foreign flight crews. The ministry also said it had never asked to access a database created in 2023 to help authorised agencies review passenger and crew information because it did not know the database was operational or that it could use it.
There was an even more basic warning that should have stopped al-Hammami from flying to Israel. Pilots from countries such as Oman, which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, are barred from flying to the country. Yet al-Hammami was allowed onto the Tel Aviv-bound flight.

Mamdani showed up at an alleged vigil to honor the victims of October 7, whom he essentially said were valid targets due to Israel's occupation of Gaza.

Even though he is obviously a strong supporter of terrorist murder and rape, Muslims
heckled him for not being honest enough in his pro-Hamas agitation.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani showed up at a Union Square vigil marking the Oct. 7 massacre, candle in hand, and the people who helped put him in office were waiting outside the barricades to inform him that the revolution does not do thank-you notes.

Honestly, he had to know this was going to happen. These crazy pro-Palestinian nutballs flip out if the people they support don't spend every minute hating Israel. It's what they do.

The wife and I were talking about driving down to Fort Hood and seeing if we could get in to watch. Being retired military we can get on the base but I am not sure if they will allow spectators in to view the execution.

Joining all of you in prayer for her to pass into heaven without pain or fear in her sleep.

This is what I pray for my own mother (95) for the past year. She's only been a bit puny for a couple of weeks and now has sitters with her. She's not dying of anything at this point and still walks with a walker. However, when her mother was at the same age and got sick she was gone in a month.
