I'd watch it. If they could make "reincarnated as a vending machine" work, they can make anything work. Posted by: mikeski at October 07, 2026 04:02 AM (VHUov) Posted by: m at October 07, 2026 04:05 AM (odBC9) 5

I was reading that article and found out the bill for eliminating daylight savings time passed congress and is languishing in the senate.

Ah. So. There will be no change at all then. Like, for example:
Cable lobby groups notified the Federal Communications Commission that they will sue the agency to block its controversial repeal of the National Television Ownership Rule, which limits the number of broadcast TV stations a single company may own. --> Cable lobby groups notified the Federal Communications Commission that they [the cable lobby groups] will sue the agency [the FCC] to block its [the FCC's] controversial repeal of the National Television Ownership Rule, which [rule] limits the number of broadcast TV stations a single company may own. maybe Posted by: m at October 07, 2026 05:05 AM (odBC9) 25
I've been up working for 2 hours. It's so nice with the animals asleep.
Regarding AI, I do have AI create a bunch of python scripts. There's a certain order with a certain purpose. I standardized a lot of things. I have to EXPRESSLY tell it each time that the scripts work and they are not to be modified. Otherwise, they've gotten creative and messed things up. There was a thud. And here's Snowflake to go outside. Purring and looking up at me. So cute. All of you have an amazing day. Posted by: Stateless - Ralphy - 105 years old! The media company's, cable-satellite-streaming-whatever, are not lowering there costs. Mainly because networks, especially sports networks, won't. NFL is driving it mostly, but they will increase the costs to show games until the ratings start dropping. It's happening in college football. Not quickly, but it's slowly happening. The cost of games are too high and that gets passed to the consumer.
