They're putting up the Krampus decorations already? They've completely commercialized the true meaning of Krampus!

The now-abandoned Summit Tunnel at the Donner Pass.

A lot of fuzzy mouths to feed. This guy thinks he's a dog owner but when you have twenty huskies in your house you're more of a dog hostage.

Supposedly, a tricky paint job on the front of this building creates the illusion that it's warped by non-Euclidean energies from Yuggoth. I'm wondering if it's actually AI. If not, it's a very impressive illusion.

Every Friday Emirates and other wealthy Arabs and people from around the world pour into the place and spend huge amounts of money. Theres even a skating rink and an aquarium, a huge one, inside the mall. The indoor ski hill is at the Mall of the Emirates across town.

And the whole building complex is built around a huge man made lake with a fountain and light show that makes Vegas look like a traveling carnival. Quite a place.

62 This weekend is Homecoming, and we had the parade tonight. We live across the street from the education complex and the stadium, so we have a great view.
One of the firetrucks leads off, followed by the marching band, who have been practicing ALL week. Then the homecoming royalty and all the middle and high school sportsball teams.
