I have 7 grandchildren now, my son and DIL have five kids. The last 3 were fosters, now adopted. Everyone looks Nordic or Irish except the youngest. He looks like a 4 year old Gary Coleman. They had fostered him since he came out of the NICU, and the adoption went through less than a year ago. We always vacation together, along with my daughter, SIL and their two boys. Two years ago, very early in the AM some of us were sitting at the table, the littlest guy next to me, kinda groggy picking at some cereal. When my son came down the stairs, he lit up like as though Santa Claus came to visit. He was instantly awake, happy and glowing that Dad was up. It was very cute. Loved the Dad's home video, Doof.

Hey, y'all. Great ONT tonight Mr. Doof.
I LOVED the babies greeting their Dada's! I love babies and always have. We are 10min from our gorgeous grands and they've known us/spent time with us since birth. This is their second home. When our 1yr old hears/sees us she crawls as fast as she can to me, like a puppy, for months. I'm sure my smile matches hers. Can walk a few steps but crawls faster. I noticed with all 3 of them when we arrive at their house, and they can hear but not see us as babies in high chairs, they cry til we assure them we know they are there and hello. How could we forget them? I didn't realize until they were born that there is no level or degree of difference in the love we have for them and our sons. They are simply ours as well. Certainly pieces of my heart running around with them. Thanks again for the music and videos. Have a great night! Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at October 06, 2026 10:50 PM (hzuYO) 102

100 99 96 Firing squad is too good for that guy. Hanging is the prescribed penalty for dishonorable soldiers. The President should make a point of this.
--------- Drawing and quartering isn't a thing anymore? Because once a guy gets to hold his own entrails, he appreciates the seriousness of the festivities. Posted by: Cicero (@cicero 43) at October 06, 2026 10:48 PM (wpRMV) Don't understand the mechanics of holding your own entrails whilst being drawn and quartered...your arms and legs are already being pulled in different directions so you can't grab sh*t. Evening all.
I survived the drive to the hotel. Roads were actually really calm and sparse... In the morning, interview, oil change, gas up, and drive back until my body insists on a hotel or until I get home, whichever. I'd do the oil change before the interview but I don't trust them to finish early enough. Posted by: RandomDave at October 06, 2026 10:52 PM (Kguar) 107

Was thinking of quartering by horses...where the tendons are cut, each arm and leg is tied by rope to a different horse facing a different direction, and all horses start pulling at the same time...

@JamesBryantWX Hurricane Isaias COULD impact games on Saturday, most notably Georgia at Alabama. Timing is everything. Does rain clear out by gametime or is it a true hurricane game? Both options are on the table. If, as Democrats claim is the case, illegal aliens never vote, polling places are the least likely venue for ICE to actually make any arrests.
Since it is seemingly the Democrats' wish that ICE never actually make any arrests, they should totally support making g the agents uselessly waste their time monitoring polling places rather than going out to where their quarry actually gather.
