20 Good morning, everyone!

I had such a nice yesterday. First, JTB told me that he was going to order "The Complete Works of Francis Fenelon" which made me happy. I hope he likes it Recommending books is like introducing one friend to another and you're delighted when they "get along." Then I went to a book signing and talk by the dear daughter of our church patriarch, It is about her father's memories of growing up the town where the church is and where they both grew up. He was a dear , interesting funny man and died last year. She thanked me ( along with lots of other people.) I had never gotten thanked in an author's book before and I was so touched by that.. Finally, I went to a wonderful service at the Anglican Church in America. They have a wonderful priest wherever had communion , and I was delighted to see a nine year old being baptized. On the way back to our car, we saw a rose bush which spelled lovely. Thanks, God!

We set down at what appeared to be an open-air mall, concealing the local headquarters. Inside, I helped Mr. Waverly, my boss, pile some food and coffee on trays (?), and we took them up an escalator. Then I found my new station was not an office or cubicle. It was a seat with several other agents suspended halfway up a darkened auditorium. I was trying to analyze data on the big screen below when I woke up. Whew. . . .

Unless there's obvious intentional harm, good luck getting any real remedy for even gross negligence which is shockingly common and much of it is systemic/operational because you and your pet are just cu$tomers with commodities. 57 The furry thugs are doing well. Last night Linda brought over one of her endless series of free canned cat food samples which she has to review online. Stuff looked like chicken a la King. Dagny wouldn't touch it, and, oddly, neither would the voracious Stirling. She put it outside for one of the transient cats or ferals. If it's still there today, guess what kind of review it's gonna get.

She also borrowed Dagny for the day to pose her by one of the other cat food cans, and posted the pics on her review. In the pics Dagny looks even more elegant than usual. The lighting made her look much browner than she does in here, though.

I agree with the first part but given that a lot of the "refugees" are basically seeking better welfare benefits, I'm not in agreement with the second part.
