Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Republican Wisconsin Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Tiffany Survives After Plane Loses Engine Power and Crash-Lands in River; Media Minimizes EventHe's a sitting congressman, too. ![]() Tom Tiffany
After the Butler assassination attempt, the left, including the vicious chaos-farmer media, downplayed Trump being shot by an assassin by pretending it was NBD to be hit in the ear with a bullet. They also invented conspiracy theories, never rebuked by Master of Conspiracies Jake Tapper, that he hadn't been hit at all and that it was either all fake or just a "harmless" ricochet. And, of course, their fellow leftwing cultists urged and prayed for more skilled assassins to "finish the job." The jihad left is following the same script today. ArkadaloA "reporter" with the egregious communist rag the Journal-Sentinel helpfully pointed out that the plane crashed into water that was "only" 30 feet deep and as you know, all men are 30 feet tall so 30 feet of water presents no threat to them at all.
And this guy wants Democrats to do what the plane crash failed to do:

The gravity of the situation was pulling a plane down from the sky that landed in water. It was only luck and a good pilot, and God’s good grace that they landed there. Definitely a journalism major. Posted by: SpeakingOf at September 14, 2026 03:51 PM (6ydKt) 41

I grew up as Mormon outside of Utah, you were either practicing or non-practicing. You went to church and did the whole thing, or you didn't and drank alcohol and stuff. Contaminated fuel, or the wrong fuel will cause trouble. One of my tasks before every flight in the .mil was to take a fuel sample from the sump and keep it in a clear glass bottle. We'd show the pilot during pre-flight, and then keep it in a rack on the flight line in case something goes sideways, they could test the fuel closely as part of any investigation.
One time we had to get fuel in rural Cambodia, someone had set it all up beforehand. At the prescribed place and time, some locals showed up in a fuel truck and pumped us up with approx. 360 gallons of their finest. Nobody (not even me) thought to test the fuel beforehand. Doh!! Posted by: Common Tater at September 14, 2026 04:35 PM (No2m Generally, in any war that could be assigned religious motivation, religion has just been the excuse for political war. The Crusades, for example, started as a way to reclaim territory in the Levant that had been part of Christianity but had been overrun by Muslims, who then mistreated the Christians. In practice, it was a way for second sons to go find glory and spoils, and eventually to become kings in the Holy Land. Yes, religion can be divisive. But in current practice, the only problems are with a "religion" that isn't really religious, but political, i.e. Islam. Once again, religion is just the excuse, not the cause. Picks an angle he thinks is edgy and autistically locks in on it like fucking Rain Man and spams dumb shit until he gets a reaction. Posted by: ballistic at September 14, 2026 04:57 PM (oqH4h) 345

It's not the depth of the water. It's hitting the surface traveling at 75 - 100 mph in a thin skinned aluminum death trap. Descend too fast and you may as well be landing on solid ground.

233 I think she is trying to explain her use of "only" 30 feet -- that the "only" meant that "only" 30 feet of water would be dangerous if there were rocks. It's totally bullshit, but I think this is what she is trying to say.
Posted by: Elric The Blade at September 14, 2026 04:18 PM (iFTx/) You know, I don't feel the need to give her the benefit of the doubt. Hold her to her typed words, and give her heck. Or better, ask her to find out how much water Mary Jo Kopechne drowned in. Posted by: moki at September 14, 2026 05:10 PM (wLjpr) 349
Maybe two giraffes would have made more sense. Posted by: Comrade Flounder, Disinformation Demon at September 14, 2026 04:53 PM (dK+Kv) Anything to avoid the metric system. Every year toddlers die by drowning in the 5 gallons bucket sold at Home Depot. It happens enough they actually keep statistics.
There is a simple solution to this menacing problem: we must insist that every bucket sold has a hole at the bottom so that water cannot build up to dangerous levels. It’s for the children! Posted by: NemoMeImpuneLacessit at September 14, 2026 05:17 PM (gqKkr) 351
>>> I think that if Scott Bessent ran for President I might vote for him, but I don't think he has any interest in that.
Posted by: FenelonSpoke at September 14, 2026 04:46 PM (JrHfD) Love him. He does classy yet catty quips VERY well! Before Data Lounge bit the dust and sashayed away, the bitter old queens there (bless their hearts!) were convinced that Republicans had all the closeted political gays, and it was ok to rip them out of the closet and doxx them because they were evil Republicans. They were really nasty to Lindsay Graham after he passed. Out and proud GOP gays like Bessent were of course never discussed. That would ruin the illusion they built up in their minds. Many were also blatantly transphobic and racist. It was a funny mix of woke and nonwoke liberals. Posted by: LizLem at September 14, 2026 05:18 PM (Eng1Z) 352
