Good news, everyone!
Western Lensman @WesternLensman CNN's Dana Bash tells Jessica Tarlov and Scott Galloway how, as a trained journalist, she is "objective about truth and facts." Wild to watch how they tell themselves this stuff: Galloway: "I see you as a centrist." Bash: "I don't even know that I would describe myself as a centrist because I've only been a journalist my whole adult life." "There are some things that I have an opinion on, but I'm so trained to look at all the sides and all of the arguments." "I think being objective but also objective about truth and facts, not just objective about different parties ideology is right." Gruber's later work often focuses on melancholy subjects. He is credited with beginning the "Misérabiliste" movement in French painting, seen later in the work of Bernard Buffet. Politically, Gruber was a committed communist.
In the late 1930s, Gruber contracted tuberculosis. He missed military service in World War II due to this illness as his health steadily declined, and he further worsened his health with his strenuous social life. A flyer for the event listed "many good reasons to scream," including "rent," frustrations with AI, unspecified "anger" and the fact that it "feels good."
The group scream was preceded by a screaming contest, where participants were judged based on the volume, length and style of their vocalizations.. . . The sudden screeching of brakes from all these researchers and CEOs of AI, reeks of a Covid era like effort to help the Democrats. I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that suddenly the Democrat candidates for Senate and House are suddenly up in arms over AI and hyper scale data centers. Then right on time comes the leftward leaning IT guys along with their CEOs all screaming the same hysteria. We’ve seen this movie before this is Covid like in that they are taking advantage of a lot of the populations irrational fears of AI. They are trying to help Democrats get elected.

Posted by: Ian S. See, this is why I have an issue with the automatic "it's a Chinese op" response to data center rejections, it completely ignores the fact that the transparent behavior of the AIbros almost makes foreign propaganda superfluous to building opposition. Le lit rouge
Francis Gruber One of four 'ladies on beds' paintings. Le Lit rouge, 1944 Femme sur un canapé, 1945 Femme sur un lit rouge, 1946 Femme étendue sur un lit, 1948 1945 and 1946 might have been the upswings, with 1944 and 1948 the despondency periods. Gruber died at the age of 36, in the year of the last painting. Gods and Foolish Grandeur blog spot: "Francis Gruber (15 March 1912, Nancy - 1 December 1948, Paris), French painter, founder of the Nouveau Réalisme school. The son of stained glass artist Jacques Gruber, he first exhibited at the age of 18. While other artists were embracing abstraction, he preferred to paint the figure, being influenced by Hieronymus Bosch, Albrecht Dürer, Matthias Grünewald, and the engraver Jacques Callot. Asthmatic since childhood, he died of tuberculosis at the age of thirty-six. He was buried in the village cemetery in Thomery, Seine-et-Marne, where he had lived for some years; his close friend Alberto Giacometti contributed a sculpture (now missing) for his grave and poet Louis Aragon gave his funeral oration." Would pass hanging today's art selection. Thanks Posted by: L - No nic... at September 15, 2026 10:14 AM (NFX2v) 227

Resubmitting this from last night - I'm about 40% of the way there, and I've got a Sunday deadline to file in time for maxing my state contribution.
To those who don't know, I'm taking the plunge and running for State Representative in Connecticut's 135th District (Easton, Weston, Redding). It's a longshot in deep-blue Connecticut, but I'm running anyway. CT runs a public-financing system for state races: candidates who raise $6,700 in small contributions ($5-$340 each) from individuals qualify for a state grant to fund the general election. My filing deadline is coming up, and every day between now and then affects the size of the grant I qualify for. The part that matters to you: only 150 of those donations need to come from inside my district. The rest can come from anywhere, including here. A $25 gift from a Horde member in Texas counts exactly the same toward my threshold as one from my neighbor in Easton. If you'd back a candidate trying to keep CT from becoming CA, I'd be grateful: https://tinyurl.com/2dr6tp2e Thanks for reading, and thanks to CBD as well.
