Complete Transection Of The Spinal Cord At T5-T6

T5T6 payback.jpg

Being confined to a wheelchair is a difficult proposition for even the most self-reliant and strong-willed people.

Here is a list of issues that I culled from the internet. They don't seem very pleasant, and leading any semblance of a full life with an injury such as this requires a fair amount of assistance, regular medical care, physical therapy, and undoubtedly psychological support, whether from formal providers or close friends and family.

  • Complete paralysis of both legs

  • Loss of sensation below approximately the mid-chest

  • Normal arm and hand function

  • Loss of voluntary bladder and bowel control

  • Sexual dysfunction

  • Initially flaccid, areflexic legs (spinal shock)

  • Later development of spasticity and increased reflexes

  • Loss of normal sweating and temperature regulation below the injury

  • Impaired trunk and postural control

  • Autonomic dysfunction, including abnormal blood-pressure and heart-rate responses

  • Risk of autonomic dysreflexia with injuries at or above T6

That is not to say that it can't be done. There are far too many successful, well adjusted people in wheelchairs to assume that it is impossible.

In college I roomed with several students in wheelchairs, and their injuries ranged from very low on the spine, to so high up that one required assistance breathing. They dealt with their injuries and their lives just like everyone else. It was a continuum, with a few who were amazingly independent and charged through the days, to one who was a passive slug who demanded that others do everything for him. So...pretty much like all of humanity!

Why do I mention this? Well, there is a woman in the news with a total transection at T5-T6, and I wonder whether there might be some justice in her future, even if it might not come from our legal system.

6 Translated into plain English, the AfD should be right on the doorstep of an absolute majority. Hard to say; it depends on how the exact numbers shake out.

8 And once it happens, the 'inner voice questions' start coming up: How long? Will I ever walk again? Is there any kind of operation that can make me whole again? Thing is, I CAN imagine being forced to live like that - and it's not a pretty picture. If we're all relatively 'healthy' and 'mobile', just thank God for letting us live as normal a life as possible.

Reliance on others? Oh, like her leading her children one by one to the basement and strangling them?

All while carrying out a conversation on the phone with her husband who was out getting her food and meds.

There are a lot of notches in the evil column.

Just to clarify:

Patrick Clancy walked away with his 400k Microsoft job, the 1.7M gofundme, a life insurance payout on all 3 kids, and funds from the sale of the house, plus a new wife and a new kid,

Meanwhile, Lindsay Clancy is left with no kids, no money, no house, no job, no legs, and maybe no freedom.

Where PC would have paid millions for alimony / child support in divorce, he makes 4-6 million off of their deaths.

Money is the root of 90% of crime, but that’s not suspicious to police?

CDU is Christian Democrats, i.e. the RINOs.
Die Linke (literally, "The Left") and the SPD (Social Democrats) are left-wing, the Greens speak for themselves, and the FDP are too small to matter.

Right now, it looks like the AfD will be one seat short of an absolute majority, but this is the first exit poll; historically, these are broadly accurate in German elections, but the final numbers could edge up or down a bit, and that could be significant. It's still not impossible that the AfD does get a majority, though I doubt it.

74 Why jump from a window? She was a nurse right?

She could have easily killed herself if she really wanted. I hope she does a better job next time.

75 The work on his race setup has implications for others with similar injuries who wish to be self sufficient, drive themselves, etc.

Had a friend in High School who was in a minor car accident. Didn't want to go the hospital. EMT's made him. Walked in. Doctors told him he had a broken back and needed surgery. He and family resisted. They convince them.
Came out without the use of his arms. Imagine the payout.
Anyway, he had a van that he could drive with limited arm use. Was a hoot when he drank.

She slashed her wrists, too. The wrong way to bleed out. She was not trying to kill herself. She was play-acting suicide attempts in an effort to gain sympathy and/or bolster an insanity defence.

I can't believe this post. You named Richard Ramirez, Charlie Manson, Chris Watts, and Jeffrey Dahmer in a post intended to demonstrate that women are worse creatures than men.

Having seen photos, I think 'slashed' is more appropriate.

Ugh.

I hope she hears their pleas and screams every moment for the rest of her miserable life.

82 I'm more worried by all the crazies out there that support her murder of her children while at the same time demonizing her husband and blaming him for the murders. This is the kind of madness that gets termed Mass psychogenic illness/mass hysteria...

Man leaves a bar, completely drunk. He tries to stand up, but can't stay up, and keeps falling down, so he drags himself home, trying to be a quiet as possible before pulling himself up into bed without waking his wife.
The next morning, the wife asks, "You went drinking again last night didn't you?"
He responds, "How did you know?"
She says, "The bar called; you left your wheelchair there again."

I doubt she will, nurse. I think this is a true psychopath. I doubt she thinks much about them at all. They are objects, passages in her story, nothing more.

The "thing" being done as described above is women being attracted to evil murderers who are imprisoned. Or women being fans of Lindsay Clancy. Instances of men becoming groupies for female monsters seem to be very rare.

True story. When I had my first back surgery there were 2 doctors in the practice. One of them quit because as he told me he didn't go to med school to push drugs on people.

He went to work for the state helping run the medical weed industry.

Oh, it's being pushed alright. Look how many dispensaries claim that their product will cure everything from hypertension to hemorrhoids. If all the claims about the medical efficacy of pot were true, broke doctors in droves would be hurling themselves from the tops of high buildings.

Reading the bullet points in the op, I don't see how she could get pregnant, carry it to term, and then deliver a baby. So, yeah, I would say she's fixed in a non-traditional way.

She admitted she killed her children, meanwhile she had sent her husband, their father, elsewhere so he couldn’t interfere with her plans. This is all on the record. You may be woke, but you’re not awake. Wake up!
