The quote above is from a video by Spencer Pratt (included below) about the Lindsay Clancy case. Which may be leading to some similar cases:

"IS THIS THE NEW ME TOO MOVEMENT?" "An Illinois mother allegedly hanged her 2-year-old son that she described as the 'anti-Christ' - - hours after discussing the Lindsay Clancy case with friends. . . '

But today, since we are in the Labor Day Weekend, perhaps we can touch upon some othe issues related to dignity - some references to communism and other forms of totalitarianism and the dignity of our educational systems.

But back to murders related to mental health. Matt Vespa wrote that some of the JURORS wore pink in apparent solidarity with the defendant.

The Spencer Pratt video mentioned pre-dated the mistrial. It's not just this case:

I learned, for example, that Stalin met the exiled Vladimir Lenin more than a decade before the October 1917 revolution, and that by the early 1920s until his death in 1924, Lenin was in failing health, confined to an estate with "a staff, including the worker-cook Spiridon Putin," Russian President Vladimir Putin's grandfather.
That provides an interesting context for Vladimir Putin's 2005 speech in which he said that "the collapse of the Soviet Union was the biggest geopolitical catastrophe of the century."

Agree completely. Our problem at the moment is that a lot of our institutions are ruined, so we have to dedicate ourselves to tearing them down and rebuilding. I think the Kennedy Center contretemps is a good metaphor for the situation; at this point, just demolish it and start over with something new.

I'd add that every generation needs to dedicate itself to rebuilding those things that have fallen into disrepair. The fountains in DC are another example. I was shocked at how bad they had become. And this also means rebuilding the bureaucracies that wallow in waste.

I know the area where she killed her kids very well. Used to live there.

Go back and look at the video of the Gov of MA signing the abortion bill until the second before birth. This only happened a few weeks ago. Look at the smiling and clapping women surrounding her, they are giddy with excitement.

I'm not a bit surprised she has a small army of supporters and the female foreman of the jury tried to get the one man holding out for guilty removed. With today’s electronic medical records, all of these docs have access to the PDP, a program which lists all controlled substances that have been prescribed, how many refills, who the ordering providers are…. It’s all available at the click of a mouse. Any competent mental health provider would check that before prescribing.

No those are her current meds now.

Do you know the shrink she was seeing at the time of the murders did not know LC had previously called the suicide hotline twice?

The main reason imo her shrinks struggled to treat her was that she hid things from them. Never told them she thought about killing her kids is a big one.
