Attorney Dirk Schmitz called this a sign of “systematic manipulation”.

German elections have been thought to be fairly secure, with mainly in-person same-day voting, photo ID requirements, and a Supreme Court ban on digital voting machines, as I explained to Ben Harnwell on The War Room.

I worked for an IBM dealer at that time. IBM spent a whole bunch of money training us on those products and I sold a boatload of Model 30s, 50s, and 70s. Those went for about $2k, $3K, and $4K, respectively. And then you needed a VGA CRT monitor, $300-$3000 at the time."

Went through the menu again just now and switched some settings off that had been turned on after a recent software update, deleted Ad/Content information, and Reset the Ad ID.

It’s ridiculous that LG feels this irresistible urge to nickel & dime the customer even on their OLEDs which are not cheap and shouldn’t need to be subsidized by marketing the customer’s information.

If you can’t make enough money in South Korea charging $800 to $4000 for millions of TVs, without resorting to data brokering, you are doing it wrong.

I looked up what the hourly wage was at the time, 2010, and it was app $18.00 an hour. I was amazed that it wasn't 4,5x more.

One thing to be aware of with mini pcs. A) most of them use proprietary parts, B) heat management is a thing. Heat kills chips and if you don't make time to remove the cruft that builds up in a normal house from them, they get hot, start throwing errors, and then die.

Small cases unless you get the low power Ryzens or Intel T models that are a slower and designed for laptops to sip electricity, build up heat faster than bigger cases with better airflow and space between components.

That makes cleaning the inside of the cases using compressed air or stronger methods like isopropyl alcohol if you use things like indoor fireplaces or non vented gas space heaters. Leaves a greasy film everywhere that suck up dust.

Small cased electronics tend to have a shorter lifespan because of the small cases and difficulty in cleaning them whether it is stereos, dvd or set top boxes, routers, etc.

16 gb Works fine for Macs or Linux and 8gb on either OS is tolerable compared to 8gb on Windoze 11.

For close to that price,consider one of the mini Macs as Apple has superior hardware and reliability for the minis versus most of the Windoze offerings of mini pcs.

Used factory minis are around and the M series of Apple processors is damn impressive. Only caveat, not so great for gaming.

Then I built my first XT machine (4.77 MHz/10 MHz turbo, 8088.) I put in a Miniscribe 3650 and had an amazing 40 megabytes of storage. Later I bought an RLL controller (instead of the MFM I had first) and extended that out to 65 megabytes.

I skipped 286's, and built a 386 sx with an 80 megabyte ide drive. That held me for a while.

And then Command and Conquer came out and I was "forced" to upgrade to my first Pentium machine and a 250 meg IDE drive. Wow playing that game was sweet though.

After that came a Dual Pentium III 450MHz machine (motherboard was from iWill) and I remember it had an awesome feature that if you bricked the motherboard with a flash update, you could name the rom .BIN file a certain name, put it on a 3.5" floppy, put it in, and upon boot, the motherboard would recognize it on POST and re-flash the rom all by itself. Now that's good design. This was my last machine with a hardware jumper for write-protecting the BIOS.

Indoor air quality matters and fans are a plus/minus thing. If your indoor air quality is good, its okay, if your air quality sucks, then it simply adds to the dust coating internally. You can put filters on that but then that restricts the airflow.

Ugly but practical sometimes is a big honking heat sink from a conductive metal like aluminum or copper. Passive heat sinks do not add to problems of air flow but do need to cleaned now and again as dust acts as a insulator over time.

Liquid cooling is better but introduces its own problems.

I have seen them close off a section of gravel road near here so that an aerial spray plane could reload its tanks close to the spray site, saving air time and fuel. He had flagmen to close off a mile of road. Land and taxi to the farm gate where the tanker was; flagmen opened the road, and closed it again for takeoff.

The Mini PCs have laptop chips in them, so they can take some heat. You couldn’t run them dry without a heatsink and fan but they’re designed to run in confined spaces compared to a desktop chip.

If heat buildup is a worry you can always go into the BIOS and undervolt the chip or turn down some pther power settings to keep it a little cooler.

I undervolt my desktop chip just to make it idle in the 30 - 45 C range with a tower cooler.

I’d give the dog access to plenty of water all day and feed it some dry food, bread or something and see how it’s doing tomorrow.

Sounds like it ate something it shouldn’t have if it’s eating grass. It might have bad heartburn or something.

Seems like a elaborate solution for things that already exist for cooling. Bigger heatsink/fan with a filter on the case works for 90% of systems.

176 Some dogs become ill, lethargic, stop eating/drinking due to separation anxiety from their "people", even if the person staying/caring for them is known to them.
If the dog develops diarrhea it is probably time to get advice from a vet.

If you can drill a hole for the power cord and figure out a way to stop any condensation in the PC it would probably work like a champ.

If the subject is cooling a mini-pc
Beelink is mounted on the back of a Gateway monitor, a $1.98, 12v cooling fan encased in Styrofoam is strung on an insulated wire from one of the mounting screws. Its cuddled up to the Beelink and the residual air is then ducked via envelope downward to the two mounted external HDs. It's all cool.

With what money? How do you intend to do all that? What with the proceeds? You put them in an escrow account for when Iran shakes off the shackles or are you good with demontage? What with the ships? The crew?

I PROMISE I’m not trying to be a jerk here. But there really a million considerations. It isn’t as simple as “just capture the ships and their cargo”.

185 I believe the ships in question or at least two of them were at anchor in Iranian ports. Not in transit in int'l waters. "Seizing" them would actually be a (foolhardy) military operation going into the highest threat zone in order to get low-value probably poorly maintained small tankers.

The seizure question may apply more logically to Iranian-flagged ships elsewhere, like those languishing in SE Asian waters. Admin recently moved to re-activate a court that oversees actions related to seizing ships at sea, I think.
