Had an interview today that went well I think, I should hear back next week whether that's true, any next steps, etc.

Got one interview scheduled and one 'working on being scheduled' for next week.

Got a couple others that I'm waiting for the recruiter to give me a status update on.

I'm feeling optimistic after today's interview.

I'd never presume to tell you what to do BUT: We took care of a little one (not our kin) for three years until things settled at home. He was a joy and a gift to us and all that met him. We love that little shit to the moon and back. However, we also had two temporarily that were so damaged by their 'parents' that they are, and will continue to be, a real problem for themselves, caregivers and future prison guards. Good luck - I mean it.

The ice melted from all that energy release, picked up all sorts of debris, then blocked and mixed with the rivers.

There's before and after clip on chickensh*t X of an area that was hit. Trees almost forest surrounding what looked like a factory and adjacent buildings, thousands of sq. ft. All wiped out.

The forest and populated area looked like mud slate.

A US military judge ruled Friday that confessions made by alleged 9/11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to FBI agents are inadmissible and cannot be used against him at trial, The New York Times reported.

The ruling comes just before the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

This week, the trial date for Mohammed and three others accused plotters was set for June 5, 2028, at the US naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

I boggle at what the *sound* of that coming would've been like. Sheer terror in their last moments of life.

They were thinking it was an earthquake that triggered it. But the latest from the USGS looking at the seismic data is the first even was that glacier breaking loose, and no triggering earthquake.

"Tectonic uplift" was probably a big factor. The mountains are sort of still being pushed up slowly, and the chunk of glacier just reached the breaking point.
