Marco Rubio Sanctions Italy-Based Tech "Collective" Making Tools for Hamas
"To sanction" looks both ways (like "to table"): 1 give official permission or approval for (an action): only two treatments have been sanctioned by the Food and Drug Administration. 2 impose a sanction or penalty on: foreigners in France illegally should be sent home, their employers sanctioned and border controls tightened up. But I suspect this is not a cottage industry, and I also suspect wealthy people provide funding to keep the machines humming, while shipping off weaponry to dirt-poor, drug-addicted and dishwater dull redditors in a City Near You. The Trump administration has paused visa appointments for applicants worldwide as the State Department launches a global training initiative at all U.S. embassies and consulates, according to a department spokesperson. Appointments for visa services will be rescheduled to accommodate the training.
The State Department offered no specific details on the training or its timeline. Officials said the initiative aims to help consular officers screen out applicants deemed likely to become dependent on U.S. public benefits. It is also intended to ensure evaluation of visa applicants comprehensively and consistently. "A more prosperous America means ensuring that visa applicants are not likely to become a public charge, as defined under U.S. law and regulation, and not likely to become dependent on U.S. public benefits reserved for qualified Americans in need," a State Department spokesperson said in an emailed statement to The Epoch Times. Pete Buttigieg beats JD Vance & Marco Rubio by more than any other Democrat in new poll (Jon Ossoff, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
I think Ossoff is still the way to go. A progressive from the south who can resonate with both liberal New England voters and more conservative southern voters. He could win in a landslide election if he ran a Beshear-Ossoff ticket looks very similar to the Clinton-Gore ticket. A popular moderate governor from a southern state, the running mate is a liberal Senator from another southern state? Obviously a pipe-dream, because democratic primary voters will not elect a ticket that doesn't include an african-american or at least an Obama-alumni. Sadly, it may still be a tough fight. A not-insignificant number of people think Democrats legitimately want to raise prices on things and make their kids gay as core policy positions. Three officials within the U.S. Secret Service’s communications office – including the agency’s top spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi – have been removed from their posts and stripped of their security clearances as investigators examine how classified or sensitive information reached the press, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
The three were escorted from Secret Service headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Monday and formally designated “do not admit,” meaning they are barred from entering agency facilities, two sources told RealClearPolitics, which first reported on the suspensions. One of those sources said both the FBI and CIA are participating in the inquiry, pointing to a probe with more weight than a routine internal personnel matter. All three employees are based in the communications office. Posted by: SMOD at August 26, 2026 01:42 PM (RHGPo) Posted by: Anna Puma at August 26, 2026 01:42 PM (7gwL+) 65

It sounds OK in theory. You centralize your equipment and don't have to buy, store, and maintain the ovens at each store. This is the hope that most white progressives have. That she'll be too embarrassed or tied to tradition to run again despite her constantly signalling since November of 2024 that she was going to run again. The second is a billionaire who can spend to break media strangleholds on his message and says things that the establishment won't allowed to be said. Things like "open borders was a bad idea, and Biden was a bad president" or "the racialization of our party by Obama was the greatest blunder in modern politics" who then promises "Medicare for All, but only Americans." The USAID money is likely a factor, but there was less discretion on the fraud money for hospice, child care, home health care...and that can be obfuscated from oversight at the state level.
Then Biden adds $47 Billion to the pot while simultaneously removing what little oversight obligation there were. THEN, state politicians fight tooth an nail to keep federal auditors from reviewing the appropriations....while millions, potentially billions are leaving the US via international air travel....A large portion of which likely returns into ;the ActBlue process to distribute as under threshold grass roots donations by unknowing contributors. Yes, USAID funded some of this stuff...but I think it might have been a drop in the bucket to what I described above. Posted by: Orson at August 26, 2026 02:30 PM (dIske) 237

Duck Donuts rules the roost with its famous made-to-order cake donuts, fried fresh and piled high with custom toppings from bacon to Oreo crumbs. Warm, customizable, and proudly quacky, it’s a growing chain born in Duck, North Carolina.
Goose Donuts, by contrast, remains more of a mythical rival—perhaps imagining fluffier yeast rings, honking good glazes, and a slightly more grounded (or waterfowl-proud) vibe. While Duck delivers instant gratification and playful rubber-duck branding, Goose might lean into richer textures and a quieter flock appeal. In the end, Duck currently owns the real-world pond with over a hundred locations. Goose stays the underdog in imagination. Either way, both sound delicious—just watch for feathers in your frosting.
