I think the problem with too many Jews -- mostly secular ones -- is that they don't care enough about Israel or Jewish people in general. They're too busy cheering whatever trendy leftwing fad is eating away at their culture, identity, and freedom.

It's going to devolve into fights of personality while the GOP keeps some semblance of cohesiveness under MAGA going through its shifts post-Trump.

I'd like to see some Repubs start to go after this Medicare-for-all crap. The average person thinks "Oh, great, no more medical bills!" when in reality:
- Medicare only reimburses the docs and hospitals 60% of the real cost. Private insurance covers the missing 40%.
- Medicare recipients pay a monthly premium based on income. It's not as much as private insurance but it isn't free unless you are on Medicaid.
- Medicare only covers 80% of anything. If you want better coverage you pay for it with a Medigap plan or Medicare Advantage plan that has deductibles and co-pays that vary depending on how much you pay for it.

I don’t quite understand all of it but they especially don’t like the part where the ballot and envelope need to have matching bar codes. Lawyers are also saying there isn’t a challenge to that part which will survive the court system.

I still doubt the rule goes into effect for 2026.

Women were always insane and self-destructive. So are men.
Society spend millennia building guardrails and safety nets and social structures to temper the worst of these impulses, and channel them into something good and productive.
Mostly, that was getting them married off young, putting them to work in jobs and raising families, and giving them something to do.
Then, starting a few decades ago, the left decided it was a great idea to effectively remove all the safeguards keeping women's self-destructive nature in check. They would now not only be left to their own dangerous impulses, but those impulses would be cheered on and nurtured.
Of course it was a disaster.
Society spend millennia building guardrails and safety nets and social structures to temper the worst of these impulses, and channel them into something good and productive.
Mostly, that was getting them married off young, putting them to work in jobs and raising families, and giving them something to do.
