Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 8/ 21 /26Good morning kids. As we briefly touched upon on the latest episode of the podcast linked here as well as in the sidebar and the popular platforms listed at the bottom of this post, there are many things that I'm grateful for in President Trump's second term and unlike Trump 1.0 the overwhelming majority of his staffing picks in cabinet and other key positions have been outstanding. It does make me feel positive insofar as our bench for future presidential elections in '28 and beyond. His most stellar pick much to the surprise of many has been Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. The institution of a reverse domino effect in the Caribbean and Latin America in turning formerly what were thought of as permanent Socialist/Communist kleptocratic tyrannies into or at the very least taking their first steps into being free and prosperous societies and American allies has been one of the most significant foreign policy accomplishments in decades. The groundwork for this success was laid when President Ronald Reagan brought about the collapse of the Soviet Union which was the chief financier and sponsor of Latin American communist expansion and so without billions of rubles flowing in it was only a matter of time before these banana republic tyrants would follow suit. Although the political will to bring them down was also necessary and in the case of Venezuela, a little military action and legitimate cassus belli as was the case with the Maduro/Chavez regimes' massive narco-trafficking operations posing a grave threat to our safety and security. But of course, the last remaining domino and symbol of communist failure, tyranny and misery that has yet to fall is Cuba. And so after 66 years it certainly appears as if Castroite communist Cuba may actually at long last be free or at least have a better than even chance of being free again.Q: What did Communists use to light the night with before candles?Without oil from Venezuela and Iran flowing in, Cuba can no longer export violence, terrorism and communism throughout the region and the globe, nor keep its own abused populace fed and fueled. That said, the government is one of the most effective and repressive police states on the planet so overcoming that as it has always been is the big challenge, just as it is in Iran and Red China, all of which have citizenry that are not pleased with their overlords. Back to Marco Rubio, as a refugee from Castro's Cuba, the irony of him being our Secretary of State and a potential successor to President Trump himself should Cuba be liberated with him at the helm either in Foggy Bottom or perhaps seated at the Resolute Desk itself is too delicious to contemplate. Considering the rise of the Democrat Socialites here in the US of A these days, their heads exploding as the statues and banners of the Castros are smashed and burned as Lenin's were in Russia when Communism fell is equally too delicious a prospect. No wonder they are/were in Cuba to celebrate Fidel as well as do their best to thwart President Trump and bolster Communism in Latin America. But ¡Viva Rubio! who continues the fight regardless. It seems that Marco Rubio has been pretty busy this week, and he's largely focused on eradicating communism, crime, and drug trafficking from the Western Hemisphere, which is exactly where I like him. Today, the Department of State is designating nine entities and three individuals to further the Trump Administration’s comprehensive push to end the Cuban regime’s malign activities, both in Cuba and across our hemisphere. This action targets the leadership of the U.S.-designated Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and designates nine Cuban entities supporting the regime. These designations build on the Department’s July 20 report Cuba: The Capital of 21st Century Communism, which summarizes the Cuban regime’s decades-long use of brigades, such as the one coordinated by the designated ICAP earlier this month, to advance Cuban interests at the expense of the United States. Of course the evil Commie rat bastards are not going to lay down and surrender. UN and Congress Commies stage next fake crisis. The UN is outraged over events in Cuba. Not at the political repression by the Communist regime, the detention of over 1,200 political prisoners, the arrests of protesters, and the government-backed prostitution of children to foreign tourists, but at the U.S. sanctions which have kept foreign tourists from coming by to molest little kids and spend money.in Cuba. The Communist regime in Havana is at its weakest in history and may be about to topple so the regime, the UN and Congress Commies have begun trying to fake a ‘Gaza-style’ crisis in Cuba. How is Cuba like Gaza? They’re both loser terrorist states lying furiously to play the victim. And who better to certify that Cuba is Gaza with fewer mosques and more burritos. The “silent Gaza” talking point had previously been promoted by four radical leftist members of Congress, Rep. Mark Pocan, Rep. Maxine Dexter, Rep Teresa Leger-Fernndez and Rep. Delia Catalina-Ramrez, who, despite the supposed “collapse of infrastructure” and “fuel shortages” that UN human rights experts were complaining about, were able to fly in and tour Cuba. “I think Marco Rubio is making this personal and not professional,” Rep. Pocan whined, implying that the son of a Cuban refugee should really not take the dictatorship that destroyed his homeland personally. Rep. Pocan, who had spent much of the last few years defending Hamas-run Gaza from Israeli attacks on the Islamic group, claimed Cuba was a “silent Gaza.” . . . How is Cuba like Gaza? They’re both loser terrorist states lying furiously to play the victim.. . Rep. Pocan and the rest of the delegation met with Cuban dictator Miguel Daz-Canel, not with the political prisoners imprisoned by the Communist dictatorship they had come to support. If they really cared about the ‘Cuban people’, they would have consented to meet with the families of political prisoners, as actual human rights activists were asking them to do. Back in America, Rep. Pocan complained that “now they’re calling us Communists. Like, they’ve lost any credibility. They clearly haven’t taken a high school or even a junior high civics class recently, because they don’t understand the definitions of what they’re calling us.”I'll leave you with the bitterest of all ironies in that we may very well liberate the world from Communism while at the same time America becomes a Communist hellhole itself. God-forbid. And with that I bid you all to have a great weekend.

I think that it comes as a default as the former US becomes another Sharia caliphate. They just call the process "honor killings", and you just got to trust the family, because it is personal, when they tell you butchering their kids is honorable. And if killing is on the table, then "lesser" impositions are too, like selling the children into slavery, or using them as practice goats before moving on to actual livestock. I didn't say that there was no evil, I said that I wasn't sure it was her. The doctors who had her on so many drugs she didn't know up from down but didn't hospitalize her would certainly qualify. The system which prevented her family from having her committed would also qualify. But if she didn't know what was real and what wasn't, is she actually evil?
Posted by: I used to have a different nic at August 21, 2026 07:52 AM (ExV1e) --- Our society has re-paganized. It's all there - idol worship, infanticide, human sacrifice and of course persecuting Christians. You can try to use the lens of secular materialism to explain everything with Marxism, or drugs, or demographic trends, but it only gets you so far. Take psychology, for example. Has there been a greater failure in human history? "No, don't bother about religion, just take to this dude and maybe take some pills. No, there is no sin, only a stupid idea of shame, which you must ignore. Do shameful things with pride, it's okay." Turns out, when you cut God out of your life, you become pagan. Human life becomes worthless. Your own wants become paramount. "Inconvenient" babies die. Suicide is endorsed. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Lloyd at August 21, 2026 08:00 AM (ZOv7s) 93

Well done, Mr. Lee and the EPA -- as far as it goes. Now get rid of that ethanol stuff for our gasoline completely.
I am still paying extra for ethanol-free, E0, gas, when I can find it here. though yesterday the station I often go to had it for $3.99, only about .40 more than the average price of E10 regular here. That's a bit more than 10%, and I get about 10% better mileage on the E0 than on E10; I'm almost breaking even. Yesterday was tough. Mrs. Lloyd met with the surgeon and while everything on that front is excellent, it is likely that she will need chemo, and that got her really down.
On the one hand, things are going great - we caught it early, no signs of spread, and chemo is just a precautionary measure, but there has been this steady retreat on the part of the medical staff, from "No problem, Stage 0, don't even need the whole breast, no chemo" to "AKTUALLY, Stage 1, taking both is wise, and we'll do chemo after all." If those MA mothers for Clancy are representative of the jury, she will get off as lightly as possible. It is Massachusetts, after all. That's what I'm tentatively predicting.
If a black man can butcher a woman on a bus in NC and walk away from it, then surely so can Clancy. If illegal aliens can rape and kill their way across the landscape and be "punished" with misdemeanors or "time-served" waiting trial, then so can Clancy. Its only the white man who is held accountable—everyone else are apparently savage beasts who are not accountable. America is fully incapable of slaying its dragons, or for that matter naming sin, or even accepting responsibility for any evil. No big deal, that is the world since expulsion from The Garden. @daliaziada 21h My entire world collapsed when I publicly spoke against Hamas' terrorism on October 7. My Egyptian, Arab, and Muslim people, who are so blinded by Jew-hatred and so proud of supporting Hamas terrorism, tried to kill or imprison me for doing so. But my Jewish friends miraculously saved me. Every single day since then, God shows me that I made the right decision. 7:42 AM · Aug 20, 2026 Within five hours, Dalia Ziada was forced to flee Egypt, leaving her family and homeland behind. Posted by: Bulg at August 21, 2026 08:04 AM (77rzZ) --- Thanks! I'm just calling it as I see it. I spent an freakishly long portion of my career on a planning staff, and what I've seen is just crazy. Iran was not in our AOR, but we knew their air defenses and spent a lot of time arguing about how hard it would be take them down. When we did it so quickly and with so few losses, I was absolutely stunned, and called a veteran friend up and we both could not get over how amazing that was. Iran is under siege. The only way to defeat a siege is either to get relief (think Vienna 1683) or the besieger has to quit (Vienna 1529). There's no logistical strain on us. This is basically Operation Northern Watch with some boats involved. Economically it was disruptive, but long-term, having us replace Iran's oil production is a huge win. Oh, and we have Xi's nuts in a vice. Funny how no one talks about that. His navy runs on oil. Hard to launch an invasion on empty tanks. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Thank you JJ. Happy Friday all.

They will be epic, and a glory to behold.
Posted by: CharlieBrown'sDildo You remember that one chick screaming "NOOOOOO!" when Trump was elected the first time? I want that again and some dude with a guitar making it a metal song. Posted by: NR Pax at August 21, 2026 08:20 AM (OPGS/) 159
And should your wife need someone to talk to that's been through it, do not hesitate to reach out. I'm quite sure the First Lady would be happy to lend an ear, as I'm sure many in The Horde would, to hold her hand through this.
Posted by: Sponge - F*ck Cancer at August 21, 2026 08:18 AM (ccf/V) --- Thank you. Unfortunately, she seems to be very into chatbots as authority figures at the moment, and my friends and family who have personal experience apparently just don't know as much as the Holy Prophet ChatGPT. Don't discount "The Camp of the Saints." Massive illegal immigration of the Coprophages has already had a huge impact. Posted by: no one of any consequence at August 21, 2026 08:22 AM (36x1j) 161

129 What kind of lunatic compares Cuba to Gaza? Cuba needs to go down. Stop fucking that chicken. Maybe another 47 years or 60 years, what-be-the-haps?
Posted by: Rev. Wishbone at August 21, 2026 08:13 AM (tvdD1) As we were talking about yesterday, of course Cuba needs to go down; but there’s no hurry. They’re no longer any threat to anyone, just a handful of power mad bureaucrats lording it over a country of starving and sick peasants living in mud huts. Not only do they have no industry left, they’ve even lost the disgusting sex tourism they had going on with the Euro’s and the Canadians - their planes of pervs can’t fly there anymore, no fuel on the island. That’s a new rock bottom for any country - they can’t even afford to sell their daughters to strangers anymore. Posted by: Tom Servo at August 21, 2026 08:23 AM (o3ajz) 165
