One of Comey's own relatives called him out for using the not-so-secret-code for assassination: Paul Sperry Below, excerpts from Comey's "novel" -- or long confession -- in which he discusses the power of ginning up a public appetite for killing "enemies," knowing for a fact that of the many people he's inspired to kill, at least one of the "knights" will actually attempt it. (The "knights," I'm pretty sure, a reference to the knights who killed Thomas Becket, after the king made the plausible-deniability command to kill him, "Who will rid me of this turbulent priest?") He even specifies that the internet is an outstanding vehicle for stirring stochastic terrorism.

I've seen several posts by Jonah on different outlets. They all seemed to be more conservative than he's been for a long time. I assumed he was trying to walk back his stupid move into the left's swamp, since they will never accept him as one of their own, and he has a "newsletter" to sell.
I'll have you know I was working on an article on why Trump is an evil fake savior like Father Enrico Pucci and I persuaded Chad McThundercock to read it after he and the fair lady Jessica were done and he told me it was, and I quote, "nerd shit". So I asked him what I should write about and he suggested something about how feminists are stupid and should learn to make sammitches. So there. That's why I'm trying to write different things now! When Jimmy "Drama" Comey needed to make his bones as a Political Prosecutor ...
The CEO of a public biotech learned of an adverse ruling from the FDA about its key drug in development. Stupidly, he dumped all his shares. That's insider trading. The CEO's broker had Martha Stewart as a client and had put her in the stock. He called Martha who was on the tarmac going on vacation and advised her to sell because the CEO was. She said yes. As to Martha, that wasn't insider trading, but the laws around this have always been muddy. Then the FBI came knocking on her door unnanounced. Their story is that Martha misled them, as duly noted in the paper 302s they filed. The FBI also seized her laptop and went forensic. Martha had deleted an e-mail you see, but then undeleted it. This is what got Martha in jail. Not insider trading. Posted by: Ignoramus at August 21, 2026 01:51 PM (dtajH) 192

The cubit is from your elbow to the tip of outstretched hand, which is about 18 in = 1.5 feet. Then there’s the royal cubit which like the Guinea to the Pound is a little bit more. Royal cubit adds one palm = four fingers to the measure. Some passages in the Bible describe distances in cubits but others use royal cubits. Check carefully. Of course, if you are a dwarf or a TRex, that changes things.

this is what actual political retribution looks like. the post was tongue in cheek, meaning to get rid of Trump, as in remove him from office because he is so goddam incompetent. There was never a suggestion of violence
the outrage was ginned up because Trump is a thin skinned baby who always needs to feel like a victim. Start disbarring DOJ lawyers until some with integrity step up. Because this is fraud upon the court levels of insanity. The entire world is going to celebrate when Trump dies and I will be tuning into Fox News with a huge grin on my face to watch Jesse Watters cry and get pissed off live on TV about it when it happens. I'll probably have to record it though, I'll be out celebrating too, in Canada. It's because Trump asked him for "Loyalty" at a private dinner, and he said no way. So he got fired and attacked. It’s vindictive prosecution. And the GOP is totally ok with it. The only way to make these people change their minds is to do it to them. In the Tech Thread, FenelonSpoke was asking about tips for her son, having to work standing up much of the day. When I did entrance screening for county courthouses -- nothing to do with 9/11, it started long before because of serious murder risk to literally everyone from judges to clerks -- lots of Mexicans in particular wore 'romeos', which are a slip-on style of boot or 'boot' (shoes with work boot-level durability). They look nice and are practical; you have to take them off for screening because the metal shank stiffening the back half will set off the metal detector, so they have to x-ray it to make sure there's not also something prohibited in there, but also that's easy.
Caveats: looks and durability do not come cheap. Also, proper fitting is especially critical with slip-ons, so the first pair (at least) should be had a real shoe store, where they do that. Posted by: SciVo at August 21, 2026 01:55 PM (L3Npt) 221

Off Topic, yesterday's related post is too old for meaningful comments:
Twitchy has a new article where Karmelo Anthony, the Track Meet Murderer, had his texts leaked/released. Two hours before the murder, he was messaging about murder fantasies. A good sign the murder was premeditated and not 'random'. A bit curious why the prosecution didn't have this during the trial. Or maybe they did, and decided not to add circumstantial evidence that could cause problems with the jury? Comey wanted more than Martha in his trophy room and brought dubious charges against Frank Quattrone, who, despite being Italian, had risen to be the #1 technology I-banker of his generation.

While she was AG, Loretta Lynch ran Comey when he was head of the FBI. Their fix for Hillary's server exposure was to focus on narrow charges that purposefully ignored what really happened. The charges never got into how all that confidential information got on the server in the first place. e.g., Huma going into the SCIF to take screen captures with her phone. Instead the charges assumed Hillary had a right to have the information in her personal possession but "mishandled" it.
Hillary used all this information to run her own shadow international operation while Secretary of State, including to solicit hundreds of millions in bribes that were run through the Clinton Foundation. The deal was that Hillary would make Loretta the first black woman SCOTUS and Comey would step up as Hillary's AG. But the deal fell apart when Loretta was caught on the tarmac with Bill Clinton. To limit her exposure over the Clintons, Loretta then made Comey the public face of the investigation. But Comey refused to be the fall guy for a total whitewash. Hence, his claim that no reasonable prosecutor would charge Hillary while he laid out evidence that she was guilty. Posted by: Ignoramus at August 21, 2026 02:05 PM (dtajH) 277

Dems have been waging lawfare against the GOP my entire adult life, and the GOP has done nothing about it for the most part. Want it to stop, then you have to get even. Learned this living in TX for the last 30-40 years. When I moved here, Dems prosecuted Senator Hutchison; jury acquitted. Then they prosecuted Delay; court of appeals threw out his conviction. Then they prosecuted Rick Perry; court of criminal appeals granted habeas early on to end prosecution. Not long afterward, the legislature wised up and stripped Travis County of its authority to bring these statewide prosecutions. His anger was for one ego bending thing at the time: Trump said his pants were not creased and needed some new ones in 2015. This totally torched Goldturd and he went loco in anger. It is as simple as that. Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at August 21, 2026 02:25 PM (hzuYO) 365
Alarm clock-radio set to a local classic rock station. Wake up to 'Bohemian Rhapsody' at least twice a month.
Could be worse: could be Sonny and Cher singing “I Got You, Babe!” forever. Posted by: NemoMeImpuneLacessit at August 21, 2026 02:25 PM (ZVgZ4) 366
I'd simplify it further and have an 'XX' and an 'Open' division and call it a day.
____ I understand, but dammit, calling it the Men's/Women's divisions worked just fine until yesterday. Posted by: Chuck Martel at August 21, 2026 02:25 PM (Dv3i1) 367
Was at butcher shop this morning and 'Hotel California' came on their music system and said to the woman taking my order that this was probably the song with the most airplay in the last 50 years. Checked this out a little while ago: nope - 'Every Breath You Take'. FWIW.

315 Just a few years back, Jonah Goldberg had this realization that being a "conservative" has little shelf-life in the media pool.
Seems "conservatives" just don't really like shoveling somebody else' cr@p. Posted by: Neo ------------ Here is my theory on Goldberg. (You guys like my insomniac thoughts, right? Right?) I knew a kid in college who was a pure contrarian -- he would enter every discussion with an opposing view no matter what the current view was. By end of semester I would have fun by changing position halfway in and getting him to swap as well, just to show that he was not arguing on principle, but to prove he was more informed and better than everyone else. Of course, he was a kid, and his technique was very crude. Goldberg is very much like that kid. He was a conservative because most people around him were on the Left. Then he got to NRO and found pleasure in contradicting the conservative mainstream. Now he has his niche -- the perfect contrarian. The guy who known more than everyone no matter what anyone else knows. He doesn't have any principles, he only has ego and the need to show that he knows more than those idiots on the Right who made his career. ...I mean, are these people fucking kidding me? Just shut the fuck up, because we should be lighting most of these people on fire and running them over. They tried to destroy the country and ran the table of abuses to do it. Jail is too good for them.

To put a fine point on the need for the new WH ballroom, they won't have to use DC hotels with poor security. And they're putting a f*ckload of badly needed new stuff in the basement.

I've always looked for dogs who don't bark.
Has anyone else noticed that the feminists have stopped keening about abortion? They keen about men. They keen about living, laughing, and loving. Then they keen loudest about their vapid lives. But, these dogs aren't barking about their right to kill anymore. Why? My theory is as follows: these dogs have run out of puppies to kill, but they still love to whine, and so they whine about the dogs who do have some puppies.
