LOL: Secret Architect of Trump's Impeachment, Ukranian Agent Alexander Vindman, Defeated by Lunatic DSA Candidate in Race for Senator from Florida

Ashley Moody, who took the seat when Marco Rubio took All the Jobs in Trump's government, was already a lock, but now she's the Iron Clad Lock of the Week.

Lieutenant Bearclaw will spend more time with his pastries.

vindmanloses.jpg

Far-left Florida state lawmaker Angie Nixon shocked retired Army Lt. Col. Alex Vindman in Tuesday night's special Democratic Senate primary.

With most of the expected vote in, Nixon led Vindman, 56% to 44%, giving the far left a major success on an otherwise disappointing night in the Sunshine State.

...

Nixon, 42, has been a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2020, representing parts of her hometown of Jacksonville.

Ahead of the primary, Nixon received endorsements from "Squad" Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).

Nixon was also backed by pro-Palestinian children's YouTuber Ms. Rachel and anti-Israel ex-Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.).

It's a Who's Who of Who's a Commie. Pronouns shim/sher.

Like other far-left candidates in primaries around the country, Nixon has vowed to push for "Medicare for all," abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and end US aid to Israel if elected.

Her victory came despite Vindman's massive fundraising advantage and name recognition stemming from his role in Trump's impeachment.

Vindman had raised more than $16 million for his failed campaign while Nixon took in a meager $975,000, according to Florida Politics.

...

Trump himself reveled in Vindman's defeat Tuesday night.

"SleazeBag Vindman loses tonight to a Radical Left Lunatic. How cool is that???" the president wrote on Truth Social after the race was called.

Here's the Scholar that Lt. Bearclaw lost to:

In more Florida election news -- and as usual, Florida counted within hours, almost as if it's an actual democracy with an effective, efficient, and responsive government -- Byron Donalds won the nomination for governor (DeSantis is term-limited).

He will face "former Republican," now an admitted left-wing Demcorat, David Jolly, in the general.

Donalds was "challenged," sort of, by Tuq'r-endorsed fellow member of the Socialism For White People Party, Steve Fishback, who embarrassed himself gloriously.

He got 10%.

Qatari Influencer Tuq'r Qarlson has the Midas Touch:

AG
@AGHamilton29

The worst thing that can happen to you in a Republican primary is a Tucker Carlson endorsement.

This cycle:

- Paul Dans dropped out in SC (losing badly)
- Ryan Zink came in a distant 6th
- Massie lost by 10%

And now con artist James Fishback is getting destroyed in Florida...

And in more great news for black political representation, noted Negro Pastor Debbie Wasserman-Schultz won the nomination in the only remaining majority-black district in Florida, so you can see how important Muh Representation is for Democrats.

Wasserman Schultz's bid for a 12th House term will continue after she soundly defeated four opponents in Florida's 20th Congressional District Democratic primary, including progressive activist Elijah Manley, who chided her for running the majority-minority district.

Wasserman Schultz, the former chair of the Democratic National Committee, opted to run in the 20th District -- which is more than 60% black and Hispanic -- after state Republicans reconfigured her former district, making it more GOP-friendly.

Republican House member Randy Fine easily beat one of Tuq'r Qarslon's Nazi pals. And when I say "Nazi," I am not exaggerating.

In Florida's 6th District GOP primary, Fine easily turned back a challenge by far-right influencer Dan Bilzerian, who suggested in one campaign ad that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler needed to be reassessed.

Bilzerian, who referred to Fine as a "fat Jew," "Shylock," "Jewish supremacist," "Satanic whore," and "Satan's creepy little minion" in the shocking commercial, lost to the incumbent by nearly 40 percentage points.

Both parties have Nazis, but only one party utterly rejects them:

Deborah Corso
@ViadelCorso2266

Because today I listened to a conservative space that at times sounded like a demoralization operation, I feel compelled to tell a story.

And the most important part of this story IS THAT IT IS TRUE.

Once upon a time, in a land called America, there lived two Nazis and two political parties:

Graham Platner and Dan Bilzerian; the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.

Biilzerian, the Nazi openly praising Hitler, peddling his "It's us against the Jew" rhetoric is running for Congress in Florida as a Republican.

Bilzerian has received exactly ZERO in Republican party committee contributions. He has received ZERO Republican financial support, ZERO coordinated spending, ZERO endorsements, ZERO assistance from the Republican National Committee (RNC) or the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). The ENTIRE Republican party establishment has aligned against him. Senators Ted Cruz and Rick Scott, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and other party figures publicly condemned him instead. No MAGA billionaire network opened its checkbooks or hosted fundraisers. No institutional PACs rode to the rescue. No Republican, including those described as MAGA campaigned for or with him.

LET US COMPARE AND CONTRAST TO THE DEMOCRATS AND PLATNER.

Compare the Republican Party's complete and total rejection of Bilzerian with the red carpet the Democrats rolled out for Graham Platner who literally had a Nazi Totenkopf carved into his chest.

*Platner raked in tens of millions.
*Party committees (primarily the DSCC) filled his campaign coffers.
*Dozens of high profile Democratic politicians--Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Ruben Gallego, Ro Khanna, and a long list of senators, representatives, and state officials--lined up to endorse him.
*Democrat Billionaires and millionaires maxed out donations: George Soros, Alexander Soros, members of the Pritzker and Stryker families, Waltons, and many, many more.
*Progressive PACs and unions piled on.

This here Democrat Nazi, Platner, got the full apparatus of support of the Democratic party. This here Nazi was showered with endorsements from its leading lights and millions in institutional cash.

While Bilzerian received nothing but disgust, rebuke and repudiation from the Republican party- (including the MAGA coalition), the Democrats cashed up their pet Nazi.

Obviously, Blizerian got the endorsement of fellow traveler Marjorie Trailer-Queen.

More results:

A trio of scandal-scarred pols -- incumbent Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) and former Reps. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-Fla.) and Chris Collins (R-NY) -- suffered massive defeats in House primaries across the state.

Mills' loss to former Orlando TV news reporter Ryan Elijah in the 7th District was the biggest.

The Trump-backed incumbent, who is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for numerous disturbing allegations, is the 10th House incumbent to lose a primary election this cycle.

Cherfilus-McCormick, who resigned from Congress last year after she was indicted by the feds for allegedly stealing $5 million in COVID-19 relief funds, finished a distant fourth in a failed comeback bid in Florida's 20th District.

Collins, who resigned from Congress in 2019 after pleading guilty to insider trading and lying to the FBI, was among 10 candidates vying for the GOP nomination in Florida's 19th District, the seat being vacated by Donalds.

Regarding Cory Mills: I don't know much about him, and I don't know why Trump endorsed him -- though it should be noted that Trump endorses incumbents over 90% of the time -- but he has a lot of baggage.

Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) lost his bid for a third congressional term Tuesday night to former Orlando TV news reporter Ryan Elijah.

Elijah, who once hosted "Good Day Orlando" and "Orlando Matters" on Fox affiliate WOFL, led Mills 47.1% to 34.2% with almost all the vote counted.

Mills, 46, had struggled to raise money as he fought a House Ethics Committee investigation of "serious and complex" accusations, including claims of domestic assault, stolen valor and financial misconduct.

Elijah racked up dozens of endorsements in recent weeks, including from Mills' GOP colleagues Anna Paulina Luna and Mike Haridopolos.

The 54-year-old Elijah, who previously made an unsuccessful bid for Congress in Indiana in 2010, said the late support from lawmakers showed Mills had "lost trust and confidence."

"This isn't personal for me. I'm in it so we don't lose this seat," Elijah said during a debate earlier this month.

Cory Mills apparently voted to save Ilhan Omar:

32 Cory Mills always seemed like a typical GOPe hack and grifter. MIC profiteer. The sort of guy Trump 1.0 would have misjudged.

But I think I found the real problem:

Mills is married to Rana Al Saadi. She's an Iraqi. According to their marriage certificate, they were married by Mohammed Al-Hanooti at the Dar Al-Hijirah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia.

Al-Hanooti's sermons included calls for holy war against non-Muslims and proclamations that Allah will curse the Americans, British, and Jews.

Mills went jihadi.

Lot of political junk out there by campaign strategists and the online politically engaged. And you have people repeating that shit here that strategists plant or some person they take as an authority. What is recent is the spin on the candidate debate with some claiming Darlene had a poor debate performance.

At the end of the day, it will depend on turnout. Norman, like other candidates has his own skeletons like getting megabux for Covid yet opposing relief for ordinary citizens.

And since Norman lost out on the governorship because for whatever reason, he wasn't appealing, his team immediately pivoted to the Senate race. They already have the relationships with the politically online, the strategists, etc. So it allows them to spin up narratives a bit faster than Darline's team has.

But the truth is it is a close turnoff race probably between Norman and Graham and not being a polished candidate will hurt Graham in some ways and help her in others. And SC's geography and prior political divisions from that will also play a part.

It has been helpful for the GOP primary voters to take out the trash like Crenshaw or Mills by voters or in some cases, by party officials like in Edward's case. But, in the rare case where the individual member is an asshole, like OH with Bernie Moreno's soon to be former son in law, Miller? mebbe, that trash is risking losing a safe GOP seat in a tight midyear despite a lot of people wanting him to drop out. I think the primary had already been done with the bad info surfaced about Domestic Violence claims by Moreno's daughter.

105 Convicted killer Karmelo Anthony has won his first legal battle as he seeks to have his conviction for killing Austin Metcalf thrown out.

The 19-year-old was convicted in June and sentenced to 35 years behind bars for murdering the 17-year-old athlete at a high school track meet in April of last year.

On Wednesday, the trial judge who presided over the case was removed from the case as Anthony appeals his conviction.

His legal team argued that a retrial was warranted in part because state District Judge John Roach enforced overly strict courtroom rules and gave an interview after the trial was over.

Like it or not, Lindsay was an extremely popular senator, even among some Democrat voters because he provided service to constituents. He inherited Strom Thurmond's legendary team and kept it going. So his sister, got tapped first as temporary senator by McHenry and she decided to run herself. If she wins, she wins, and if she loses, she loses as she has to make her own case to win to the voters but then again, so does Norman who lost the governor's race and even failed to make the runoff for it.

And in that runoff, Darline won most parts of the state other than Norman's home base in upstate SC in a crowded primary fair and square. So instead of telling other people who they should and should not vote for based on criteria I prefer, I prefer to let those people in that state hash it out.

So, let South Carolinians settle it, I don't care who they pick as there is no perfect candidate out there lurking.

Posted by: Smell the Glove
======
I honestly don't know--SC is a weird state politically with a substantial split between upstate and downstate that dates back to pre ACW times. It is a GOP machine state which started under Carroll Campbell as the first GOP governor and that blossomed with SC displacing leftward trending NH as the most important early GOP primary.

Norman was unable to make the runoff in a crowded gubernatorial field but was well set up to run a state race for Senate when Lindsay died and so he edged out retreads and no hopers to end up in the runoff with Darline.

Darline has scant actual experience as a candidate and it shows like in the debate. How much that counts versus prior name recognition and voter's genuine affection for her dead brother is going to be hard to fathom for outside observers. TJM, who is oddly absent today, might be teh best situated to comment on it.

translation from El Espectador

[Ex President Alvaro Uribe's] analysis came after the De La Espriella administration submitted a report on Tuesday to the oversight agencies (the Attorney General’s Office, the Comptroller’s Office, and the Inspector General’s Office) that includes allegations regarding 22 critical areas of government operations, including ministries and departments under the Office of the President.
According to Uribe, this document describes a government “with simultaneous structural problems related to cash flow, debt, implementation, technical capacity, contracting, technology, information, and coordination.”

In that regard, “the great challenge is not only to discover who did what, but to determine how much it will cost to correct the problems identified and what can be fixed quickly without further paralyzing the government,” the former president emphasized.

(It is amazing to find that anything is working well in Colombia at this time)

But yea, same thing. This miserable prick knew from the jump the Duke lax players were innocent. He knew the stripper was lying. But he went after the players like a rapid dog, hoping the notoriety and woke messaging would help his career.

He was disbarred over it, but he should be sent to prison.

The Uribe family has the same problem the Galan family had. Deep roots, family background and entry to the political machine, cut short by assassination by the Cartels.

De La Espriella is turning loose the dogs on the cartels, and most recently has announced that they have 4 Reaper drones, one owned by Colombia and three on loan from the US.
The Colombian Navy is also starting to round up drug trafficking FastBoats now, which I suspect is both a delight and a worry to elements of their armed forces.

[Have told this story before:] Early 80s at a small liberal arts college in SoCal, one of the perpetually-drunk rich kids decided (with some friends) to break in and steal the pinball machine from the on-campus restaurant/gathering "hub" in the middle of the night -- and eventually got busted.

All the other kids were immediately expelled, but pretty-boy's daddy made a sizable 7-figure donation to the college ... and of course he got to stay in school.

So much for that "Honor Code" we all had to sign upon admission ...

I have similar stories to tell. My fav is how a Daddy Warbucks pledged a pile of money to get his kid out of a high school jam where he wouldn't be able to graduate. The school took the bait and the kid graduated. Daddy then said "fuck you" and reneged on the pledge.

I believe individual foreign contributions to candidates are illegal, but NOT foreign contributions to ballot initiatives.

[Our State Legislator, Mark Finchem, has proposed a bill barring criminalizing the latter.]

I'd like to see out-of-state domestic financing of campaigns and ballot measures criminalized as well, although the criminal syndicates will just use in-state straw-man cutouts, so likely ultimately wouldn't matter.

Thank you. Please note U.S. Rep. Mart Gay Scanlon's comments. (Read more about her background, her connections, her family & our PA 2018 redistricting.)

That's my voting district; she's my US Representative. We have an Africatown created within.

The county council has recently created a Human Relations Commission that can take appropriate action. CAIR Philadelphia is no stranger to the county or it's council. There is no Republican representation on the county council. (Even Philadelphia has a few seats for city Republican representation though they are not on the city council.)

Eminent domain is a part of their government, part of the governor's too.
