When the Kung Flu hit our shores what did Dr. Josef Mengele Anthony Fauci do other than cash his checks?
In May 2021, Janet Woodcock, the Acting Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), sent an email to Dr. Anthony Fauci, then director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and Dr. Francis Collins, then director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director, expressing concern about the large number of adverse events she was hearing about following COVID vaccinations.

The correspondence, released by Senators Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Sunday, expose how federal health officials ignored early safety signals.

Woodcock said she had personally received reports from people, including many healthcare professionals, experiencing hard to classify adverse events that were not being captured by existing surveillance systems like VAERS.

She said all three of the vaccines— Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson—were resulting in these injuries.

“The symptoms do not fit into a specific syndrome and most are not easily quantifiable or evaluated with standard laboratory testing,” she wrote, adding, “no one takes them seriously, no one knows how to treat them, and there is no effort to study this.”

Yes. She came in through President Trump's big beautiful front door. But when it was time to leave, she plopped her fat ass on the couch and got married. Boo-frigging-hoo. Send her home to Russia!

He Was a MAGA Patriot. ICE Took His Wife Away.
The case represents a new front in President Trump’s mass deportation drive: arrests at airports of people who have active immigration cases and no criminal history.

45 >> Say, whatever happened with the leaky seals on the ISS Rooskie section?

Not so much seals, but little microcracks in that Rooskie module, likely caused by metal fatigue from the repeated docking.

The Rooskies just wanted to take a hack saw and cut something where they get to the area, NASA had a hissy fit that it was too risky and ordered our people into the Dragon, if you remember.

The Rooskies, thinking we were just a bunch of pussies, agreed to hold off on that. They're now just "watching" and doing some other tricks.

The spacewalk procedure is a PITA. The ISS atmosphere is 21% O2 and 79% N2 at 1 atm, basically sea level air. But, the spacesuit atmosphere is pure O2 at a little over 4 psi.

So, the bends would be a big problem if they jumped in the suits and went outside. They have to camp out inside the airlock over-"night", where they reduce the pressure to about 10 psi. That gets the N2 levels down on its own. Then they have to prebreathe pure O2 for a couple hours before getting in the suits and depressurizing the airlock.

TY Eris, she was a sweet kitty. Showed up in the neighborhood 19 yrs ago. Little girls next door were eating butterscotch cookies that day, thus the name. They fed her and played with her.

Later that summer she had kittens in the neighbor's wood pile. We took them all in to protect the kittens. Eventually we found homes for the kittens and ended up keeping Scotches.

She ruled the roost thru 2 big labs who came and went during her tenure. Lately she allowed the latest dog, Flash, to share her home and frequently jousted with him.

She was a Tortie and according to Scottish tradition if a Tortie choses your home it is good luck. And that is true, we were lucky to have such a sweetheart for 19 yrs.

I still wish I could do it.

72 ounce challenge at the now-gone Texas Cattle Co was a boneless sirloin. A 72 oz Tbone would go down a bit easier. TCC would also add a football-sized potato to the challenge, whereas he just had a handful of fries.

That steak looked gorgeous, and I'd want to linger over it for an hour or two. All for 100 bucks? Where do I sign up?

102 Beard is a mad lad at these food challenges. He diets pretty stringently inbetween IIRC. The way some of these competitive eaters have said they stay at a reasonable weight is keeping their total average caloric intake within normal limits, exercise, and eating very very clean between challenges. There's a fair amount of discipline involved.

Oh that really is ironic. I've told the story of Sally the cat, her predecessor, here before. We came home from a trip, neighbor cared for Sally. Jules comes out while I unload the car...Sally is dead!

Well she's 20 but WTF is this to come home to? I check, no breathing, no pulse. Dig a hole, carry her to the backdoor and I hear something, like she exhaled.

Wait and chalk it up to the death exhale, no movement, no pulse. I place her in the cold ground, then her legs moved! Took Sally inside, laid her down, petted her and she started breathing noticeably.

Soon realized it was time to let her go, stopped petting and she was gone in a few minutes.

Saw these guys below in the middle of the week with a huge renal exam the next day. Had my study index cards with me in line for tickets for a small theater.

They were very good and I rocked with my posse.

My study method for eXams consisted of reading what I had to, some research, then highlighting the second time, and index cards from the highlights I memorized. I may look dumb but multiple choice I aced.

Nurse friends were worried about me going to this concert due to my reputation.

I made the highest grade in the class for this test and wondered if seeing a concert the night prior was the secret. I obviously did not party that night!

Twice in the last couple of years I’ve had something called a vertigo attack, which feels like either food poisoning or a horrible hangover, but has nothing to do with alcohol. The causes are very difficult to pin down. For me, day started off normal but then I started feeling dizzy and light headed; drove home quickly while I still could. (Hard to drive when the world is spinning)

Ended up laying on the bathroom floor for about 4 hours; even the slightest motion brought intensely painful attempts at vomiting. Finally lessened enough to sleep, and when I woke up I was back to normal.

Damned strange and scary event.
