Brian Thompson was an Iowa native and humble University of Iowa grad, living in Minnesota near UnitedHealth's Minnetonka HQ. As far as I can tell, he was just a regular, stand-up, salt-of-the-Earth guy -- the kind who was already busy enough with work and family, and helped charities anyway.
When he was killed, I wanted to find out more about him, trying to make sense of it. (There was none.) I remember reading how he had been involved in Second Harvest, or whatever their local gleaning thing was called. Solid choice, when I volunteer it's with either a local hospital or a food bank, and he was already working with the former professionally. Everyone needs to eat. What a guy!
All that to say, a guy like that is going to build the kind of peaceful, sheltered family that would never in a million years take the kind of vengeance he deserves. More's the pity.

I know about the solar cycles, and monitor the NOAA data monthly. It appears that total energy over several cycles has been lower. The peaks are not as high.
Is there a long-term slow decline in total output of the sun?

But I would have thought char cloth (burnt cotton material, charred in a tin in the absence of air) would need to be bone dry. Apparently, this is due to the fact that Carbon cannot absorb water.
Does this sound right? Pretty cool in any case.

It's also a open question whether the Erf will get swallowed up by the Sun when it does get to the red giant phase in another 5 billion years or so.
Mercury and Venus are goners, but Erf might or might not make it. Solar mass loss will let the earth slowly spiral outward. Solar system is so chaotic on these long term time scales that anything could happen, really.
Mars will be quite nice once the Sun's luminosity gets too much for us here. For a while.

The Electric Universe stuff is mostly just woo, as far as it "dominating gravity" and that sort of stuff.
Now, any torques on the Efr due to magnetic coupling with the Sun's field are vanishingly small, but something else could be going on, don't know what.

It's the spark that is unaffected by water.
I think there is a special technique needed to get wet char cloth to ignite. The spark is 800℉ hot, but little total energy, so water can douse the spark if you do not get close to the cloth.

The not-so-woo ideas about a coupling between the Sun's magnetic field and the earth's own geodynamo would be some small effect, not any direct torque, but something that causes a perturbation to the geodynamo mechanism, which changes the core-mantle coupling and all that.

Already started. Saw the effect on new doctors about 4-5 years ago. From what I have seen regarding legal opinions, the rot has been going on in law schools for over twenty. Others will have to opine on engineering and science. Computer software though has become awful since about 2000 when big tech started hiring foreigners via H1Bs and that the ones with the most H1Bs and clearing out of Heritage Americans have the crappiest software stuffed with crap no one wants and barely functional.

Jokes on them, their standards are falling too, where do you think the teachers, a job the elite think are below them, come from. They are the lower ranked proles at the Ivys in some cases, public school teachers that got tired of the crap in others.
Ivy league grads are about in the same position that the Ivys were back in the 40's, some brilliant profs and students, but mostly nepots and now foreigners there for networking. The professors there no longer can openly say what a woman is and the ones that know what a woman is are forced to dissemble and pretend they don't. Our top academic institutions are declining just like the regular population's and so to are their kids.
This idea that elites have that they can run away from the mess they have made to boltholes and keep their wealth is truly so egotistically stupid because if Darkness Falls, they get it in the neck too. If nothing else by their own bodyguards because why die for a schmuck when you can take what they have.

They will have AI calculate it, badly because they don't understand the questions you have to ask AI to get decent answers. That is the problem with AI and even calculators, you have to have some background knowledge to even know if the computer/calculator is spitting out junk.
