Trump Offers Cities "BIDEN" Grants to Defray Costs Accrued Due to Biden's Open Borders, With One Iron Requirement: Recipients Must Comply Fully With ICE and Trump's Deportation Program

I don't expect any of the truly obnoxious blue cities will go for this, but I appreciate the troll.

The Department of Justice is now offering $3 billion in "BIDEN" grants to help local municipalities recoup their losses incurred by Joe Biden's destructive immigration policies.
The grants, being called the Bridging Immigration-related Deficits Experienced Nationwide (BIDEN) program, is one of the biggest grant programs the DOJ has ever offered and is aimed at helping cities hire more police officers, upgrade technology, and build temporary detention facilities for illegal migrants, the Washington Post reported.
But there is one provision that is non-negotiable. The municipalities that apply for the grants must pledge to work with federal immigration authorities as they carry out federal immigration policies. The jurisdictions that apply must agree to "fully participate" in the ICE 287(g) partnership that links local law enforcement to ICE and other federal immigration enforcement agencies.
"This Department of Justice is committed to ensuring Biden-era border disasters never happen again," said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward. "We are proud to once again champion law and order."
The description of the program explains that the grant dollars are intended for "locating and apprehending aliens who have committed a crime under federal, state, or local law, in addition to being unlawfully present in the United States."
The DOJ also notes that some of the money may be expected to come back to the federal government as reimbursement for "the costs associated with federal law enforcement intervention" should federal resources have to be spent "to reduce crime or public disorder" related to immigration enforcement actions.
There are no other catches other than participation in the 287(g) program, and municipalities may spend the grant money however they wish.
The DOJ reported that 181 cities have already applied for the grants.

You buy it off him (principal) each month and continue to pay rental (interest) on what is left. It comes out the exact same as interest, but it has to be done through their legal system, their lawyers, their accountants, and their courts if not complied with.

One of the impulses of the Reformation was to re-interpret the Bible from source documents, and a number of talented translators were burned at the stake or worse because of their efforts.

A lot of sacred texts existed back then, but determining which of them were inviolable and eternal and holy, and which were fake-ass garbage-writing to be excluded, was a very drawn-out and very human-influenced rumble.

The other fun aspect about the Koran is that parts that were later written abrogate or cancel earlier bits.

The most militant bits are the later-written Suras that encourage war and destruction against the infidel. Those take precedence over the earlier Suras when Mo was trying to convert the Jews rather than kill them.

Totally agree. I don't like that high level military retirees get to keep their clearance as well. They claim it's so they're up to speed in case of getting recalled in an emergency, but that doesn't happen nearly as often as they go on political talk shows and tease what they may know.

And the whole challenge is put forth pithily by CS Lewis, either you believe what Jesus said or you don't believe in any of at because you think he was a madman. You either believe in the Resurrection or you don't. If you don't and you don't believe that Jesus was the son of the Lord, then you are not a Christian. It is binary, not a spectrum.

The Trinitarian doctrine is actually well established in Gospel but those who believe rationality is all end up becoming deniers of the whole New Testament and those prophesies of the Old that lead to it.

Less messy than you would suppose. It turns out that most revisionist scholarship leaks like a sieve as both recent archeology and document analysis using computers show those first Gospels were pretty much on the money in agreement, goes for Paul, Acts, and other of the current accepted books.
In contrast, most of the so called banned books were never really taken seriously by the mainstream of worship and none of them are even close to contemporary with the time of Christ. Such as the Gospels of Judas or Thomas. Both have serious problems theologically and historically and disagree not only with the New Testament but the Old as well.

Enoch is an interesting work but that was not a Christian text in the first place but Judaic wisdom scholarship prior to the events of the new Testament.

Ask 'red' states how stingy Barky and Biden were about declaring disaster status after they had some big floods or whatever. Its refreshing to have an admin that knows both parties can play the game of making it easier for their voter base areas to get federal money.
