I'm reminded of the "refugee" that died in a shoot out with the cops in VA in 2025.
The cops pulled him over for expired tags and asked to see his license, which he refused to do and after the cops spent a ton of time trying to talk sense into him the refugee pulled out a gun and got himself shot. But while he was talking to the cops he blamed them and the west as a whole for all of his problems because back in Afghanistan he didn't have to register a car, show up to work on time, fill out his taxes and on and on. There is no place for Muslims in the west - send them home where they can live by their own ways. Posted by: 18-1 at August 07, 2026 01:26 PM (sKqQm) 21
Speaking of the Red Cross, they are in Ceuta (Spanish Enclave) feeding the illegal migrants making it easier to stay where they are, instead of the lack of food and resources forcing them to return to where they came from. They claim it is to help limit the crime that resulted from the illegal migrants stealing and looting to exist. That tells you all about the priorities of all parties involved.
I'd say that makes them complicit in the illegal mass migration event. Posted by: Orson at August 07, 2026 01:27 PM (dIske) Posted by: Thing From Snowy Mountain at August 07, 2026 01:27 PM (gHSfI) 23

The Red Cross has been a filthy scam for decades. Just another one-legit organization that's been corrupted by commie pigs and America-haters.
I knew for sure when RC was soliciting donations after 9-11. The implication was clearly that the donations would be used to help 9-11 victims and their families. The RC was raking in piles of donations from 9-11, more money than it ever had before. 9-11 was a generational event, and lots of people wanted to help out. Then the truth came out: RC was using donations solicited for 9-11 as any old general donations for general projects. That meant the money people donated to help American victims of foreign terrorism was in large part going to ... foreign countries including Islamic ones. It was a low-down dirty rotten scam. So fuck RC. Posted by: Elric The Blade at August 07, 2026 01:42 PM (iFTx/) 85

What? Typically, people object to real id because they say it's a de-facto national ID system that enables surveillance. That there are privacy risks. That it's federal overreach. But if you're using a passport, you've basically given up ground on every one of those topics. You've got a national ID that enables surveillance and obviates privacy. I'm confused. Huck @66, beat you to it with Guadalcanal Day - 84 years ago.
Fellow volunteer at a military museum (on a Marine base) was a Canal vet (aviation ground crew). When he asked the sentry at the gate one Aug. 7 why today was an important Marine anniversary, the kid knew! We were very surprised and impressed. My friend *volunteered* to go to the Canal after the Night of the Battleships attack had inflicted many casualties. You see, his buddy from boot camp was with a squadron there. 18-yr old thinking. Baha'ism came out of Islam, and it's pacifist, so it's kind of like a reformed Islam.
I had a discussion with a guy claiming that Islam worshiped the same God as Christianity and I pointed out that Bahai claims the same things about Islam that Islam claims about Christianity so if Islam denies Bahai because their Holy Book says it is not the same religion, aren't Christians also correct in denying Islam as the Bible clearly says it is not the same God? And while I didn't get him to agree it did cause him some significant cognitive dissonance so I think the Bahai example is a good one people should bring up more. I can tell you the standard process they use on the auto insurance fraud. They rarely use personal vehicles. Instead, with a drivers license they will rent both vehicles and opt in for the insurance coverage (minimal fee). Then they will stage the accident. In urban areas they stay in the vehicle and due a simple rearender. In rural areas they will actually vacate the vehicle in front and really ram it.
The second vehicle doing the damage is, ideally, a U-Hall truck, for more drama. Then, they report it, and usually falls under the self-insured retention of the rental company, which means half ass claims guys with little experience get hoodwinked into paying out Bodily injury on the occupants. The Red Cross has a useful component acting as an intermediary between family and the government - military, in the event of an emergency, sickness or illness. Contact the Red Cross. These messages get through red tape quickly and they help getting the service member home quickly when time is important. Tickets, lodging, etc.

On Red Crosses, there's the American, the International Federation of, and the International Committee of.
The 2nd one is the body that links all the national red crosses (and red crescents). The 3rd is the Swiss-based one that mainly attempts to monitor compliance with the Geneva Conventions. Extensive direct experience (all international, overseas activities) with the Federation was pretty positive. They were helping organize/develop organizations in young/war-torn countries and helping with refugee stuff. The Committee was very impressive, they do humanitarian aid where for various reasons others can't really do it. They helped me squelch a proposed US aid activity that was not needed and would have bad diplomatic fall-out. Thus my disgust when, after 9/11, their lawyers absurdly claimed the Conventions covered the new non-state actor battlefield. Oh, and used the Salvation Army for some projects too. Amazing crew. Their budgets were laughably (wonderfully) small, as their expat staff got paid pennies. They covered a unique but (temporarily) important area that we were anxious to address.
Having worked with so many organizations years ago, and seeing how impressive they were, it's been beyond shocking to see what they've become (partially, or largely, depending). People hearing of these outfits for the first time (my impression, most people) because of their distortion and enlistment in the recent vile disastrous project to flood the US with migrants, really can't appreciate just how outrageous the change has been. Generational/standards decline, and the Obama years, wrought havoc far beyond what most people understand. Posted by: rhomboid at August 07, 2026 02:02 PM (U/Byj) 136

I watched that propaganda cartoon when this story first broke a couple days ago. You have to remember this important detail: Back in 2016, there was the very first pre-arranged "wave" of migrants coming into the EU from Muslims lands--and it was a mass crossing of Middle-Easterners who had gotten int Turkey and then taken small boats just a few miles across the Aegean to the island of Lesbos, which is right ff the coast of Turkey but part of Greece. The International left-- wh had probably arranged the entire invasion --wernt into OVERDRIVE in Europe with massive wall-to-wall propaganda in favor of the migrants -- sob stories, sympathy ploys on and on and on fior weeks on end. This cartoon was part of that propaganda push.
What happened in 2016 in Lesbos was very similar to what happened in Ceuta last week, but back then it was portrayed as a wonderful thing. Ten years later no one is fooled anymore, and now we it it as the enemy invasion that it is. THe Red Cross are agents of the enemy army. Posted by: zombie at August 07, 2026 02:05 PM (Av6i5) 144

We cannot welcome into our countries foreign pirates and barbaric predators who view us as an alien and despised prey species.
There's an important moment in evolutionary history called "Great American Interchange," when Nrth America and South America, which used to be separated, finally bumped into each other and connected via the isthmus of Panama. When happened was: Felines (saber-tooth cats, panthers, lions, etc.) which had been romaing around North American eating things for millions of years, first were able to cross over into South America. What a feast awaited them there! An entire continent of juicy prey mammals, just waiting to be hunted to extinction. None f the animals in South American had ever encountered a large predator before, so they had not evolved to be fearful, and thus were easily hunted. Some species went extinct. Others evolved tobe fearful, and survived, but now as a more parsanpid/skittish species. That's the dilemma now facing the west. Facing an invasion of predators, o we stay naive and go extinct, or evolve self-protective behavior? Posted by: zombie at August 07, 2026 02:15 PM (Av6i5) 159

Regarding Akin and whether or not he is stupid --
It was a stupid thing to say but not because it is false. A woman's arousal secretions actually help transport sperm to where it needs to go and helps preserve its viability. Women usually are not aroused when they are r@ped. So the conception rate is somewhat lower than in consensual circumstances. I think his overall point was that pregnancy from r@pe is not as common as the abortion proponents like to pretend in order to play on our sympathies. Todays Free Press says book publishing has fallen to the barbarians:
If you think it’s overstating it to say that American publishing is governed by an insidious double standard, consider recent events at one of America’s biggest publishers. Last week, Simon & Schuster doubled down on its relationship with Palestinian American novelist Susan Abulhawa, despite her praise for a terrorist, her revival of Nazi-era antisemitic tropes, and her dark characterization of Jews as “ghouls,” “cockroaches,” and “demons.” At the same time, Jewish writers such as Alyssa Rosenheck and Meg Keene say they’ve had their events canceled, faced pressure to downplay Jewish identity, and had to deal with a publishing industry increasingly unwilling to stand behind them. One of the interesting aspects of the abortion debate is the obvious play for pro-lifers is to oppose elective abortion and leave rape/incest/health of the mother alone.
The problem with that though is the left will then just claim every abortion is rape/incest/health of the mother and on that latter point they'll claimed that being stopped from getting an abortion when you want one is psychologically damaging and therefore grounds for an abortion on a health exemption Posted by: 18-1 at August 07, 2026 02:23 PM (sKqQm) 173

Retard Bernie Sanders stuck his foot in his mouth again.
Sanders was asked about El-Sayed’s embrace of Piker, who has previously stated that “America deserved 9/11,” admitted he supports Hamas terrorists, and has openly encouraged and endorsed the killing of the political opposition. Incredibly, while Sanders said he didn’t agree with the 9/11 comments, he boiled them down to Piker saying something “dumb” because he’s streaming long hours on social media every day. Plus, haven’t we all said something dumb like that that we’ve later regretted? Sanders also used the moment to condemn “cancel culture,” saying that Piker needed to be heard and respected Posted by: Huck Follywood at August 07, 2026 02:28 PM (YyTAm) Posted by: SpeakingOf at August 07, 2026 02:28 PM (6ydKt) 182

Trump did prove that of you stand behind your subject and not wilt and it sets you in much better stead. Sometimes you downplay but others you amplify or at least show you have a spine. When Mittens got caught with 47% he needed to stand firm. But he is a jellyfish so forget it. That all said election season is no time to get "scientific" on the electorate. Let alone in matters of rape. It's as tone deaf as any corporate raider. Posted by: ... at August 07, 2026 02:29 PM (6UXQp) 184
I always thought the Red Cross and the Red Crescent were separate entities and unaffiliated. Turns out they are definitely affiliated financially....and via management.
So, we can gripe about the Red Cross highlighting murders as their primary success...or we can turn to the Red Crescent and note the efficiency in which they transport terrorists around Gaza, hide weapons caches, and particpate in staged events. It's a target rich environment. Posted by: Orson at August 07, 2026 02:29 PM (dIske) 185
I have a tough time stomaching the bigotry within the suitcase industry. Or maybe their marketing department is tone deaf. Most women are overweight these days, and it's hard to find a suitcase to accomodate the increased girth. They cater towards short, thin women, totally fat shaming to Bertha's and Gertrude's out there coming in about 5'10 200 to 300 lbs. AND, even if you find a suitcase big enough, the stupid thing doesn't have wheels on it. It's a good way to injure your back.

....because unless you've trained yourself it is easy to make a gaff that will be used against you and the whole party...
-------- I understand why you're making your point, but Republicans should stop running candidates who feel like there's no danger in making off-the-cuff remarks about how rape isn't always as bad as it could be. That guy is an imbecile. We already have enough imbecilic Republicans. Posted by: Crusader at August 07, 2026 02:30 PM (TN0g+) 187

Oh, I thought that worthless waste of space murdered the poor Scottish woman within weeks of getting to Greece. I did not know he had been there for 10 years. If he was prone to murder tourists I wonder how many disappeared over the years and were never found.

Oh and he was a 'professional boxer' whatever that means in Greece; but I'd guess it means he was not living rough on the streets and simply knocked her out too hard mugging her.
