Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | New Evidence Suggests That "The Most Secure Election in Earth History" Wasn't So MuchI'm gonna need a minute on this one. My programming needs a big update.New evidence further undermines claim that 2020 election was 'most secure' in history Declassified documents, other evidence, reveal that despite official assurances of a secure 2020 election, government agencies possessed intelligence regarding significant security vulnerabilities, foreign data breaches, and potential manipulation risks. After several batches of documents were recently declassified and released by the White House, the American people now have more evidence than ever that while officials claimed 2020 was a historically secure election, the government had plenty of evidence of security vulnerabilities, hacks and foreign interference. Shortly after the election, senior government officials insisted that it was the "most secure" in American history, deflecting concerns about security, including about voting systems and mail-in-ballots. ... However, after the new batches of documents were declassified and released this summer by the White House, Americans have more evidence than ever that those same officials knew about significant breaches of election data and internally raised concerns about how foreign actors could influence the election and the vulnerability of electronic voting machines. ... Maricopa exfiltration of voter registration data The latest evidence released by the White House this week shows that the FBI investigated a breach of voter registration data in Arizona's largest county in the days before the 2020 election. In that incident, a self-described hacker foiled security and obtained 633,000 voter registration files, but the Biden Justice Department and local prosecutors declined to bring charges even after the FBI got the suspect to confess, Just the News reported on Thursday. The scraping of Maricopa County's voter registration files was the most flagged security incident in a cyberintrusion log kept by U.S. spy agencies in the days surrounding the Nov. 3, 2020, election, showing that intelligence officials were monitoring the breach while voting was ongoing. The article discusses China's hacking of the US voter databases. See the article for more on that. This is the most alarming possibility: We know that Venezuela rigged its own elections to fake a "win" for Maduro. And Maduro is a nasty communist enemy of the US. Did he do the same thing to the US elections, to get a demented old socialist fool "elected"? What would we do without "agencies" to tell us that foreign threats aren't threats at all, but opportunities for us to be welcoming and open-minded. And, of course: Non-citizens on voter rolls Additionally, an assessment by the Homeland Security Department found that hundreds-of-thousands of illegal aliens were on the voter rolls in four states -- and estimated the total across the whole country to be higher. A review conducted earlier this year using publicly available voter data in California, Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania found over 250,000 illegal voters on the rolls, Just the News reported.Tangentially related: While Democrats whine about Trump firing disloyal subversive operatives, Hillary Clinton urges the next Democrat president, who will not be her, to fire every single Republican, no matter how minor or how far from any actual power.
Talk about projection. But think about what Clinton is saying there -- she's talking about the tactic of suborning a president's agenda by holding the civil service, in the context of accusing President Donald Trump of possibly doing it. She does not appear to be just talking about the political positions, saying a Democrat president needs to get rid of Trump people: "Get rid of all the holdovers. Do not let anybody hang around in some small office somewhere who can literally subvert your program and you don't even know the person is there." She even talks about how you can move people from political positions into the civil service to help keep them in government positions, predicting that Trump "will try to move" people to do this. Hell, the cyber side of election security isn't even the biggest factor in the 2020 election (though it has the potential to be in future elections). The biggest factor was the outright fraud consisting of ballot harvesting, paying homeless to vote, ballot stuffing, ballot theft, non-residents voting in other districts, duplicate counts, and on and on.

Some things are known about the relationship between Smartmatic, which was the original Venezuelan company that rigged elections for Chavez and then established an office in Boca Raton, and Dominion but a lot is being hidden behind lawsuits. Smartmatic sold their Sequoia voting machines division to Dominion but as far as I know it hasn't been proven that Dominion runs Smartmatic software but it seems highly likely even though they deny it. Smartmatic is now owned by a British group, there they are again, and the guy running it is Lord Malloch Brown who was also at one time the president of George Soros' Open Society Foundation. I hope the clean up of Fulton gives us a pleasant surprise. Cooper in NC is effectively an incumbent, being the previous governor who just left office 2 years ago and it being an open race. The assumption is that he has that advantage, but he's polling like Cunningham did in 2020 against Tillis, and Cunningham lost, all while the registration advantage Democrats had in 2020 has completely been erased. There were 400,000 more Democrats than Republicans in 2020 in NC. Now there are 10,000 more Republicans than Democrats. Last time Cooper won statewide election was 2020, and he won by 250,000 votes. Anyone honest should at least call NC a tossup. I think it's lean R, frankly. I think Cooper is the underdog, especially since his governorship actually ended pretty badly (Helene) with some bad lingering issues (prisoner releases leading to murders and soft on crime policies that led to Iryna). Those "noncitizens on the voter rolls" are actually mostly dead people. The people using those identities are very much alive, almost all of them illegal aliens who are using a stolen dead person's identity. They can do this because the Social Security Administration recycles SSNs. Using a dead person's SSN apparently does not flag the system for that reason, so Julio Gonzales becomes Henry Schulz, elderly citizen, and he can work. The employer, if ever questioned about hiring an illegal alien, says, "Well, Henry had a valid SSN, so what am I supposed to do?" But of course the employer is never questioned, because everyone liked the system just as it was designed.

Most polling is trash you can wipe your backside with until after Labor Day where registered voter screens or all person suddenly become likely voters. Usually GOP bounce in national voting percent is +3 to +4 percent.
Instead of relying on polling per se on the horse race, instead of incumbents or near incumbents like Cooper in NC below 50 percent of the vote. Those are the vulnerable ones where spending on turnout contacts and ads can make a difference. In addition, when governors of the "wrong party" go for Senate races, their whole "good guy from the other party who isn't so bad" aura falls apart. I've been predicting this for years, including in these here little boxes. The easiest thing in the world would be to hand over programs that are already being administered by the states, like Medicaid, housing, and SNAP. The federal government could give the states a declining block grant and let the states either tighten up eligibility (and purge fraud) as the federal money winds down, or replace the declining federal money with their own taxpayers' money (further fueling the exodus of productive citizens and businesses to the red states). It is my assumption that not only are polls used to drive the desired reo(e.g. your person is so far behind don’t bother voting) as well as set the expectation to match the planned fraudulent outcome. If Hillary is projected to win every toss-up sta, then it’s no breaking news when found ballots and same-day registration ballots push her into the lead. Posted by: TheJamesMadison Not really, you simply do things via state agencies but retain the statutory authority to act and order states to act in compliance with the federal law. We already do this for example with food inspection, environmental compliance, etc. etc. Then there is moving duplicative parts of agencies to one agency--like the DoE moving its authority (and its attorney jobs going away) to the DoJ on civil rights issues. This is why I have not taken polls seriously for a long time. It’s the narrative masquerading as a scientific poll assessing the probable outcome.
Posted by: Lizzy Clinton ==== And prediction markets are an even more abstracted version of popular wisdom which comes in a large dose from polling. You can get reliable polling but it costs a bunch of money because you triangulate data sources--including rando geographic block surveys to check your suppositions as to the population being surveyed. 157 Well, Trump has fired a full third of all federal employees, so it's a start.
And yet the essential function of government -- pissing away money like a sailor on leave -- is unaffected. Posted by: Oddbob at August 07, 2026 03:33 PM (vTZFs) As one who took Elon's buyout, I'd say a great many of those who left were the thinkers and movers, not the fools that apparently remain. We had a little thunderstorm and the powers out here in rural northeast PA. Its at least the third time in the last month. I had to dump the contents of our freezer the last time because we weren't home at the time. We are tuning into a third world power grid, with it dropping out every time the wind blows.

Trump still has more than half his time left and Republicans still (for now) have the electoral and cultural advantage.
Hillary's scripted viral quote is meant to get everyone thinking "past Trump". Already. They are trying to clear the board. Posted by: ... at August 07, 2026 03:38 PM (6UXQp) 176
Note: The new pop-up ad window continues to make this site difficult to use. The window is still there, but not visible, even after it appears to spontaneously close -- the site is unusable until the ad window is explicitly closed. Tapping anywhere on the page opens an ad web site until this is done. I don't think anybody is looking at the new ads, instead they just try to get rid of them. I think this is doing real damage to this site -- fewer people looking at it. I hope this can be purged. Posted by: Semi-Literate Thug at August 07, 2026 03:39 PM (DOcg9) 177

Cosda,
Stuff in your freezer is fine for a day, maybe longer if you just leave it alone and don’t open it. Go to 7-11 and grab ice and toss stuff into a cooler if you’re desperate. Posted by: nurse ratched. at August 07, 2026 03:39 PM (W2Pud) 179

I'm quite sure Katie Hobbs will make sure everything is on the up and up in AZ.
Last time she was officially in charge of monitoring her own election for governor. And refused any debates with her opponent. How can you be in charge of monitoring your own election? And she's already stating she won't debate her challenger this time either. Her usual excuse is that they are "election deniers". You know, the elections she supposedly oversaw. ======= Population declined. 292,000 removed from the workforce, all from 16-59 age group. Meaning deportations. Our population is declining (2025 saw the first overall population decline since the 60s because of deportations). Do you expect 150,000 jobs per month on average when population is declining? Also, most of the jobs decline was because of decreased public sector employment. Manufacturing was up 50,000. Also, go eat some hobo ass.
