North Carolina career criminal arrested after attacking, chasing women in terrifying social media videos By Nicholas McEntyre
A North Carolina career criminal is accused of randomly punching and hospitalizing a woman while chasing down another victim in a separate attack as he posted the disturbing footage across social media. Di-Quan Schafar Hunt was arrested Thursday for committing the alleged assault in a residential neighborhood on the 400 block of East Boulevard in Charlotte, NC, on July 30, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said. Police busted Hunt, 32, when the department was presented with several videos on his social media page, where the brute posted about his physical confrontations.
Hunt was recording himself talking about a "real issue" that happened on July 21st when he crossed paths with the unidentified woman holding a get-well balloon.
"Nah, don't wave to me," Hunt yelled at the defenseless woman, sending him into a fiery rage and punching his victim to the ground. The 5-foot-9, 220-pound brute hovered over the motionless woman and screamed racial slurs at her as she lay on the pavement.
He immediately began spamming out excuses and complaints of "you're hurting me" (or the like) so they brought him to a medical center.
"You still talking? You still talking?" Hunt yelled. "July 21st. Say Elijah. Elijah my son, Motherf--ker you playing." Hunt ripped the broken frames from the woman's sunglasses, kicked the balloon from the woman's hand and ran off. In a separate, undated video, Hunt -- as he was ranting about McDonald's -- charged at another woman as she was walking on the sidewalk before chasing her around a car. "You wanna run bitch, you wanna run motherf--ker, huh? I betcha run again motherf--ker," he yells in the video. On Thursday morning, officers responded to an "attempt to locate" call in the heart of Charlotte, where they were shown the disturbing videos posted by Hunt. Hunt was taken into custody on an arrest warrant at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
After his release from the center, he will be transported to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Hunt, a well-known vagrant in the city, has been arrested at least nine times over the last 34 months in Mecklenburg County, according to jail records viewed by The Post. Those cases include simple assault, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing, domestic violence protective order violation and probation violation. Between December 2012 and June 2019, he was arrested three times for assault on a female, three times for domestic violence protective order violation, and once for discharging a firearm in the city and injury to personal property, according to WCNC.
All those cases had been dismissed.

At that point, she quickly walked away to locate a supervisor.”
He's young. That, at the minimum, can go on for years.
Not a lot of heavy duty jailing going on since C19.

100% agree. In the 1990s, I lived northwest of Charlotte - Hickory. Was a nice area, but towards 1997-1998, I could see changes were coming and they weren't good ones. Gone back to visit, been through Charlotte numerous times. Absolutely would not move back.

There are two kinds of criminal law attorneys, those that will get you the best plea deal, and those that will fight their damndest to keep you outta jail. You want the second type and even there--you want one that defends cops for example when they shoot a protected critter because a) those are used to public pressure and the vile press, b) they have a network of expensive expert witnesses to buttress your case at trial.

The winner from SC was recently cancelled because she supposedly made "racist" social media posts under an alias years ago.
Supposedly, she said "nigga" a few times, although the posts themselves aren't shown, so it's unclear what the context is.
Oh, and although her name is the very white-sounding "Brittany Boltinhouse," she is actually Honduran and Mexican, and looks it.

The pendulum swung from inappropriately harsh penalties on black people, to inappropriately lenient penalties on them.
If a prosecutor has charged a domestic-related offense and then later dismisses it, probably 99% of the time it’s because the victim isn’t cooperating and they have no choice *but* to dismiss it, as the victim’s testimony would be necessary for trial.
Same reason you also see what people think are “lenient” deals for very serious allegations. The prosecutor almost certainly made the calculation that an outright loss at trial is likely for whatever possible reason, and therefore a “lenient” deal is preferable to literally nothing.
Sometimes a defendant who has so many priors is just walking around like everyone else because prior victims refused to play ball with the system and testify.
And there’s no way to hold someone because they’re a danger to the public, except as a psych hold, which is a very different standard. The justice system confines people for their crimes. If a crime can’t be proven they can’t be held.

That means that state legislatures are going to have to eliminate a lot of trial judge discretion for charges and sentencing. That is where the three strikes law in California came about as the left coast was an early warning sign that leftist lawyers on the bench or as district attorneys are destroying the cities and suburbs by coddling violent and insane criminals.

It's not really 'street enforcers' per se. This guy is not screaming at these women about the wonders of abortion or open borders. Rather, it is... agents of chaos. It creates as certain atmosphere where people generally feel unsafe and suspicious of their neighbors (Are they a psycho? better not make eye contact and hurry past.) Because what does that result in? A need to feel safe and when you cannot trust your neighbor and you have disregarded the idea that you should take your own defense personally, that means the government. THEY will protect you. THEY will give you what you need (order.)
The thing is, for these women, the government is what is making them feel unsafe. This dude would have been shot for some other crime long before this. Three-strikes laws were too successful at getting criminals off the streets, so of course they had to go.
What was most surprising about those laws was that criminals are such feral, unreformable, and un-fixable scumbags that they would light up the three strikes one after the other.
They would have two strikes already, knew the next was was "see ya," but would still do the crime. Incredible. These people are dangerous animals who must not be allowed anywhere near a civilized society.

Lost government jobs - 53,000 (that's good).
Lost hospitality jobs - 40,000 (mostly illegals, that's good).
Gained manufacturing jobs +5,000 obviously good, (would hope for more gains, but all of the 5000 gained were Americans).
Gained construction jobs +22,000 very good, considering they had to lose thousands of jobs because of deportations, too.
Gained private ed & health services +25,000 that's good.
