Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | CNN's Dana Bash: How Dare You Say That CNN Attacked Anyone Who Dissented With Fauci and Deliberately Spread Fear for Ratings (and Access)She says this while pushing fear about measles outbreaks. BTW, she's highly selective about which outbreaks she chooses to freak out over. When monkeypox was spreading like wildfire, Biden's health advisor refused to even tell gay men not to go to anonymous gangbang/urination parties, and Dana Bash thought that was Sound Science. But measles? That must be Trump's fault. This is CNN:
SilentPatriot47Kennedy also asserted that the government took away our right to free speech during this period, which permitted Fauci's mismanagement and lies to take even more lives. Dana Bash and Politico, of course, believe that if a (left wing) government bureaucracy wants to exert tyrannical control due to a "health crisis," only a right-wing nutter would object and talk about his constitutional rights. During an appearance on "State of the Union" that Bash herself described as "contentious," Kennedy argued that Fauci, who served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic, was to blame for the millions of Americans who were sickened or killed by the respiratory virus. Bash challenged Kennedy's assertions -- pointing out that public health experts say it was a combination of factors that led to such high death rates, including gaps in health care and misinformation -- and noted that Fauci served under President Donald Trump in the first Trump administration. Still, Kennedy held firm that it was Fauci who set the Covid response."Experts say the experts were right and even when they were wrong they were just great guys doing the best job anyone could." What would we do without experts? "Anthony Fauci was mismanaging the Covid pandemic and was doing it under the Biden administration. President Trump wanted to end the lockdowns," Kennedy said. The exchange grew tense as Bash pressed Kennedy on how the nation should prepare for a future pandemic. "I mean, I think we did virtually everything wrong the last time," Kennedy said, adding that the "primary obligation" in any future health crisis must be to "protect our constitutional rights." "You're talking about rights, and I'm asking about a potential public health crisis that is coming," Bash replied.Dana Bash can't wait for total government lockdowns again. Her cooter is vibrating over the possibility. "Our air." "Yeah you know, you probably don't understand this because you're not a scientist," Kennedy said. "Neither are you," Bash shot back.

What I can't figure out is how the public got the idea that they could (somehow) avoid a virus altogether.
Nobody can stop a virus, not even a government. Everyone was going to be exposed, sooner or later. There is no way around this. .. Then somehow they also got it in their head, that they were gonna die if they did catch it. So people camped out in their basement and microwaved their junk mail and disinfected their groceries and wore dust masks driving around in their car alone. While your parents or grandparents were being forced to die alone, locked in a nursing home, due to the lockdowns, Fauci and Tapper were having dinner parties together, drinking wine, and laughing at how stupid you all were.
Remember: The basis for the lockdowns was the "6 feet apart rule" that they pulled out of their asses; just flat-out made it up. And if everyone has to be 6 feet apart, nothing can be open and follow that. That was the nastiest lie. IMO Covid death numbers are greatly exaggerated. Also IMO many of the deaths that were mostly caused by Covid could have been prevented if HCQ and Ivermectin were allowed to be prescribed. HCQ as a preventative ( not great after contracting Covid) and Ivermectin as a treatment.

Most of what The Experts told us in 2020-22 was ridiculous. The notion that a fabric mask could stop viruses, which could slip through the weave more easily than a mosquito through a chain link fence? The notion that, even if you were what they called "fully vaccinated," you still needed to wear a face diaper? The notion that the virus was so polite that it would hover five feet above your restaurant table, so you could eat without the mask, but it you got up you had to wear the stupid rag? The idea that moving air, such as wind or air conditioning, could not waft the virus more than six feet?

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Dana Bash she was "part of the problem"
Kennedy undersold it. CNN, Bash, and a cast of thousands were not simply part of the problem; they were central and essential. Forgetting simply the explicit desire to rid themselves of Trump "by any means necessary", hence the conspiracy to go totalitarian to squash a booming economy, they buttressed the malignant Fauci gnome by exalting him - unquestionably and unceasingly - while completely abandoning journalism. And the world NEVER need listen to Bash et al again about anything. In fact in a normal society, we'd have placed then on an ice floe never to be seen again. The point is, everyone, or virtually everyone was going to be exposed to the virus sooner or later.
You can make the argument that a 2 week lockdown to prevent a large slug of humanity from presenting themselves to the Hospital all at once, overwhelming the system, was a good idea. But they never explained any of this adequately or realistically. For most people, it wasn't going to be a major issue, this became apparent. But they never explained this either. Some people, for whatever reason, some sort of prior immunity perhaps due to a related virus, were going to be symptom free. Some people were going to get it and get very sick. Some people were going to die. They never explained any of this either. Instead they just fucked everything up beyond recognition, because they are pussies. County health authorities have broad sweeping powers to shut everything down. That's a fact.
But it is temporary at best. 30 or 60 days perhaps. After that, legislation, ordinance must be enacted or passed. They left that part out. Nobody can be forced to participate in experimental medical trials. And you can't be fired or threatened with termination, no coercion is lawful. They left that part out too. If Trump really wants to kill CNN and the MSM, he should follow through on his threat to ban pharmaceutical advertising from broadcast TV. Their remaining earnings would crater as a result. He should be forced to resign and be put on trial for all the innocent children he's harmed with his bullshit crusade against public health! who knew putting a bunch of Fox "news" hosts in government positions would result in a complete shitshow So now MMR is good? What about the autism claim you fucking clown did? Isn't this kind of reverse the kind of thing that got the anti maskers so pissed off at Fauci? Nobody can be forced to participate in experimental medical trials.
Ethical standards, including the AMA Code of Medical Ethics and the World Medical Association’s Declaration of Helsinki, mandate that participation in biomedical research must be voluntary and based on informed consent. Ethical standards are not law and cannot stand before the desire to affect an election. And before you bring up the Nuremberg Code... The Nuremberg Code has not been officially adopted as binding domestic law by any nation. It is a set of ten ethical principles rather than a statute or treaty, meaning it cannot be directly enforced in court on its own. The US has regulations which, supposedly, enforce the Nuremberg Code but enforcement assumes that it isn't the federal government violating them. Everyone who came forward with a prototype for a respirator that could be built in an hour for $3.50 was hailed as a genius by the Media! Some were personally praised on TV by PDT45, because he was following the The Science™!
If you remember that you must also remember the quiet fizzling-out of the Great Respirator Invention and Manufacture Crusade. Because The Science™ soon learned that putting older people with COVID on respirators was a death sentence. The Science™ was capable of learning and revising public guidance. In that case. Unfortunately, The Science™ pushed by Fauci and Birx and every TV network COVID 'expert' was never continually assessed using available real-world evidence, then revised accordingly. It would have really helped if a higher percentage of the population would have defied the idiotic orders/advice. I really respect the people who either recognized it was an op or the ones who at least applied common sense in the situation, like a friend who, with relief, stopped wearing a mask after she was vaccinated because common knowledge is that vaccines prevent disease. While neither masks nor Covid shots were actually protective, at least those precautions made some logical sense.
But widespread masking and leaky vaccinations helped the disease spread and mutate, and the suffering and panic could have been greatly minimized if more people had said NO. Posted by: Emmie at August 03, 2026 05:17 PM (OlzlW) 270
