The Morning Report — 8/ 3 /26

withStupid.jpg

Good morning kids. While some of you might wince at this admission, I do lurk on Facebook mostly out of habit I guess but at this point it's just to see what certain very select friends and family are up to and birthdays and such. Also, going through health issues these past two years it was nice to actually reconnect with a couple of old dear friends going back to college and even grade school, that otherwise might not have happened, so I'm grateful for that.

But of course there is a downside, and that is that more than a few have revealed their abject cluelessness. One old friend who I have since downgraded to merely an old acquaintance posted his thoughts about the election of Mamdani, even in the face of arguably the most Jewish city in the world devolving into a locus of some of the worst anti-semitism seen anywhere in nearly a century, which continues and likely because of Mamdani and his defenders in the Democrat Party as a whole, and not merely the so-called Democratic-Socialists, is ramping up as this incident clearly illustrates.

The victim’s husband said Dawood Faisal, who allegedly hit two cars while driving through red lights at a high speed, was ‘looking to do damage in a heavily Jewish area’
A Queens man who was indicted for manslaughter late last month after killing a woman in a three-car crash and then fleeing the scene was also charged with hate crimes yesterday for allegedly destroying property outside a kosher bagel shop just days before the crash.

Well, I assume this Yankee-Doodle-Dandy do or Die has been here long before the rise of Mamdani (his ancestors obviously came over on the Mayflower), but then again Mamdani itself was spawned in the cradle of civilization itself, Idi Amin's Uganda.

But getting back to my old acquaintance, he posted a comment during the flare up of campus Jew-hatred in the immediate wake of the 10/7 wave of terrorism in Southern Israel

And speaking of 10/7 in Israel, Oh Lord.

An Israeli survivor of Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack has reportedly taken his own life on the grave of his girlfriend who was murdered by the terror group.

So, getting back to my old friend, while Mamdani and friends were having multiple orgasms of Jewish babies being roasted alive in front of their gang-raped mothers, he said that New York City has had bad mayors in the past and Mamdani will be gone soon enough and all will be forgotten - - and sadly forgiven since Mamdani has the magic "D" after his name. Having been born and lived much of my life in NYC enduring vermin like Dinkins and then basking in the glorious years of Giuliani only to be subjected to DeBolshvik leaves one to wonder just what the ever-loving fuck is wrong with seemingly intelligent people like my old friends who keep bringing this cancer on themselves while refusing to understand or accept the fact of who and what they reflexively vote for.

So, a different friend and his wife live in a very expensive upper west side condo that has got to be a target for Mamdani's tax assessors. Is it wrong of me to laugh at them. Meh, haven't spoken to them in years, so keep barfing up the same drivel about Trump and conservatives J & J and keep voting Democrat! But anyway, not to worry because Mamdani is just a blip, eh?!

Of course no one on the left is speaking out. Patriots and lovers of freedom, however, can and must do so. For in National Socialist Germany, the harassment and persecution of the Jews did not end with their being barred from certain professions; on the contrary, at that point, it was just beginning. If Mamdani is doing all this now, what will he be doing in five years, or ten? (Those who complacently think he will be voted out after one term should remember that socialism often arrives through the ballot box, but never, ever leaves that way.) And while he has started with the Jews, against whom will he turn next?

Lest you think the cancer of Mamdani is limited to New York City, Think again because he and his ilk are on the rise all over the nation, and they are not going to have to actually win legitimate elections to get or maintain power.

Too often, prominent Democrats have fueled this climate with reckless rhetoric. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) famously urged supporters to confront members of the Trump administration in public, telling crowds they should make them feel unwelcome “anywhere.” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stood on the steps of the Supreme Court and warned Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh that they had “released the whirlwind” and would “pay the price.” These incendiary remarks are not just relegated to the past, but are ongoing calls to action from Democrat leadership. . . Today, that hostility has become institutionalized through efforts like “Project 2029,” a sweeping progressive agenda that proposes dramatically expanding executive authority and bypassing Congress to advance its objectives. At the same time, in addition to smears of “fascism,” leading Democrats have repeatedly described conservatives as an “existential threat to democracy.” When political opponents are portrayed as enemies of the republic, it should surprise no one that unstable individuals feel justified in resorting to violence.

Of course what fists, guns, cars and molotov cocktails can't do, you have criminals in government that can make sure people, dead or alive, vote the right way.

“I’m proud that — after contending with my predecessor’s efforts to deny Virginians their fundamental rights — we have restored the rights of more than 66,000 Virginians who have served their time,” Spanberger said. “These Virginians deserve the right to use their vote, make their voices heard, and be recognized as contributing citizens to our Commonwealth and country.”

The press release comes as Virginia residents in the fall will be able to “vote in a referendum on a constitutional amendment that would allow” felons in Virginia to have their voting rights restored “upon their release from incarceration.”

Elsewhere, we have the continued fallout of Anthony Fauci, who in the last analysis will have a body count approaching that of Pol Pot and Chairman Mao.

COVID was nothing less than a modern-day Holocaust.  It killed roughly seven million people worldwide. Economies crumbled, and trillions of dollars were lost. Families were kept apart on holidays. We watched our grandparents die alone on tablets. Funerals were either not allowed or limited to 10 people. Children didn't go to school, creating years of educational and emotional damage they still feel today.

And over in Spain, there's the Islamic invasion that is merely the promised reconquista of what was Christian Spain back into Al-Andalus. There's a lesson about this that we better learn, my old friends and those like them with their heads up their ass notwithstanding.

It only took hours for tens of thousands of Moroccan illegal aliens to invade the Spanish territory of Ceuta this week. Removing those who remain will take far longer — if Spain even manages to remove them, given a recent court ruling that prohibits immediately deporting migrants who arrive by sea, as many did.
But let Spain’s overrun border be a reminder to Americans when measuring President Donald Trump’s deportation efforts against the mess left by the Biden administration: A government can destroy its border and country within a matter of days, sometimes weeks. Restoring sovereignty after your country is flooded with foreigners is a much more difficult and slow undertaking — and punishing Trump in the midterms won’t make the problem better.

With that, I bid you all to have a good day,

    ABOVE THE FOLD, BREAKING, NOTEWORTHY

  • Robert Spencer: Of course no one on the left is speaking out. Patriots and lovers of freedom, however, can and must do so. (Those who complacently think he will be voted out after one term should remember that socialism often arrives through the ballot box, but never, ever leaves that way.) 22 JJS, Your friend ↓ acquaintance does have a point.

Society usually does recover—but not as before.

For example, during the Climate Change™ era, completely destroying the grid was one of the Left's goals.

They almost succeeded, but because of the real-life threats, and an AI "investment" bubble, there is an accelerated attempt by many companies to advance a technology that nearly stalled and died—nuclear.

There is a homeostasis of Pain and Misery that society must keep alive. For every technological advance that improves society, you have demonic spawn who drags society down and creates whole categories of problems—all of which humanity has seen before, and examples always persist somewhere around the globe.

So we know better, the Left is the Yin to the Yang

With deportation: logistically, they’re doing the best they can. It took 30 or 40 years to create this problem, it can’t be fixed in a month or two. (Try to imagine the troops needed to round up and detain 30% of Los Angeles, snd that’s just a fraction of the problem)

With Iran - by trying his hardest to avoid a big war in the middle of the mid term campaign, Trump is unwittingly bringing about a big war during the midterm campaign. Iran’s greatest dream is to play with ceasefires for another couple of months, and then launch massive suicidal attacks at the beginning of October, just to fuck the US up.

There is a monopoly on exorcising the criminals from the land—the government. And in a lot of cases you have the left hand fighting the right hand so not only is there the normal background levels of lethargy, corruption and incompetence, you have active malignant interference.

It used to be, when a job was too big for the US government to do with its current resources was to invoke a draft—that is, calling up certain citizens to put their lives on hold, at best, and surrender their lives, at most to protect the government leadership's vanity, status and power.

If the US government can abduct and risk the lives of millions of young men for CW, WW1, WW11, Korea, and Vietnam, how about just proclaiming a middle ground where volunteers can take up arms, decide their own risk, and remove the enemy within?

56 What a bunch of silly whining about Iran. Sheesh. Instant solutions aren't possible when the IRGC is as dug in as a tick in the Persian body. Starting on this quest may have been quixotic, buy Trump was persuaded to do what he swore not to do, getting involved in a middle east conflict, but he obviously thinks it is critically important. Israel may worry he is trying negotiation, and Americans may worry he is involved at all, but Iran has been a destructive problem ever since Carter put the mullahs in charge and PDJT is trying to effectively end the issue. Its messy. The IRGC leadership, and maybe most of their troops, maybe need to die first, but Trump is making every effort he reasonably can to not kill other Iranians. Lets trust him. See if he gets results.

70 56 What a bunch of silly whining about Iran.
Posted by: Huck Follywood at August 03, 2026 08:04 AM (/+1dw)

I believe his current actions are predicated on keeping oil from spiking too much and ruining the economy, while keeping pressure on the IRGC. The conventional wisdom is that Trump has to fold before the midterms to save Congress. My view is that he's stalling for time to get past the midterms with Congress intact, and after the election he'll finish them.

Besides, guerilla warfare is a tactic that is well known. Lets say that a formal call to arms is made. Every time the US threatens and backs down, the Iranians take the lesson that the US is weak and will not follow through. It guarantees worse actions by them in the future.

We let Iran fester for 50 years. Obama/ValJar wanted them to be a regional hegemon -- with nukes. So Trump is cleaning up the mess.

Time is on our side. Iran has no oil revenue and gets weaker by the day. The global oil industry is being re-aligned so Iran will soon be irrelevant.

127 Paul had released online the contents of Fauci’s diary. This document shows Fauci obsessed with his TV appearances, which he notes almost daily under a regular heading marked “Press.” He offers accounts of his interactions with celebrities such as Julia Roberts and Barbara Streisand and mentions the numerous cash prizes he began to receive. In the course of the hearing, it emerged that Fauci had directed his staff assiduously to enter him for these prizes, from which he raked in more than $1 million, though it is illegal for a civil servant to do so, according to Senator Josh Hawley.
========================
The author calls the diary release a "low blow". What an asshat comment. Fauci kept his journal on government machine and HE therefore decided to make it public. Fauci, not Paul. Furthermore, the diary contains evidence of crimes, as the author then himself notes, by citing Fauci directing public employees to gather money or his personal account.

So stop already with the fake empathy. Maybe watch a Fauci beagle video if you want a real taste of how awful a human you are defending.

Read his book, The Art of the Deal. Basically you have to tailor your negotiating style to whoever you are negotiating with. E.g. with Asians, avoiding loss of faith. With Iranians and Middle Eastern Muslims, you boast, brag, etc., With Democrats, you insult them to anger them to do counterproductive shit. And with GOPe, you keep pounding them too as they are essentially Democrats.

In all of that, Trump maintains strategic ambiguity which infuriates some here because his actual policy stances are fuzzy to them. Instead, consider that Trump is sailing the ship of state and tacking with the wind (tactical), heading straight toward the objective is impossible because the wind (geopolitics) is fickle, uncertain, and waxes and wanes, but Trump sets his mind on a particular objective in the distance and that is what his tactical moves are intended to advance.

FWIW, now up to 1.6 million deportations formal and it appears at least 2.5 million voluntary. Early school figures are showing another drop.

144 With deportation: logistically, they’re doing the best they can. It took 30 or 40 years to create this problem, it can’t be fixed in a month or two.

========

60 years.

DHS released numbers last night that they have forcibly deported 1.4 million people in the last 12 months (not across all of Trump's second term, for that, add 100,000-200,000 extra from the first few months).

All ratios for self deportations vs. forced deportations is between 3:1 and 6:1.

So, at least 4.5 million immigrants have self-deported, maybe as many as 9 million (I'd lean towards the lower end).

But, remember, Trump didn't snap his fingers and send 10,000 ICE personnel and all our global military into LA to deport everyone in 3 days, so nothing has happened. Besides, I saw a Bangladeshi man at my Costco this weekend, so obviously not one person has been deported.

The dirty secret is that some states continued with their established churches until the 1840's. The myth of a secular Constitution with strict separation of church and state, the claims that most of the Founders were deist, and the melting pot are all historical lies promoted by those seeking to implement more 'modern' conceptions.

Most Supreme Court treatment of history is that by advocates seeking to misuse history to make points--so you get leftists like Justice Stevens swearing idiotically that the 2nd Amendment only applied to militias (ignoring most of early American history) because he wanted the feds and states to be able to ban guns in private hands.

Again, I think a lot of people are judging what is happening based on how they want to handle the situation not how Trump wants to do it. Trump has been trying since his 1st term to not just continue the policies of the past, bombing and invading Middle East countries, breaking stuff and then rebuilding without changing the pattern that caused us to keep going back over and over.

His first foreign trip of his 2nd term was to the ME. He's trying to change old relationships and unite the region around economic activity. Bringing countries like SA, the UAE, Qatar and Israel into a coalition instead of at each other's throats. Iran as it is currently constituted will never be part of that alliance and now all those countries and more have a common enemy, the mullahs.

It took generations to get to this place. 50 years of the mullahs alone. He obviously has the ability to flatten Iran but is just as obviously not using it. He has a different goal.

Once the UAE pipeline is completed (started in April, due to finish early next year), Iran loses all pretend leverage over the Strait of Hormuz. They don't even have that leverage now.

All while their people have started starving, they can't pay soldiers with anything but rials which are inflating 25% per week, and their GDP has dropped by 50% because they can't do trade anymore while their manufacturing base was destroyed (and Iran is not trying to rebuild). Hell, they're not even trying to rebuild bridges that were destroyed months ago.

I've seen this in my industry, or cultural space (K9 handling and dog training), which hitherto has been relatively free of politics and cultural warfare. No longer. We're under assault from wokism. A hearty resistance has risen up. As in most of these cultural battle fronts, the Left is way ahead of us in terms of political savvy, money, lobbying, and social media emotional coercions.

One advantage we have is the utterly obvious contrast between our work products. That is, they produce failure and lie about it.

They don't have the runway left to win-no oil, no money to function defensively. Simply put, we are not going to put troops there during Trump's term in office, so we use bombing as a method of attack instead. That takes a lot longer to win--the model is more the Linebacker I and II massive bombing raid strategy that Nixon used on North Vietnam to force them to cede for peace. It was not Nixon's fault that a Democrat Congress threw the victory (of keeping S. Vietnam relatively free away).

US violated its own treaty obligations and did not respond to direct invasion by the N. Va. Army and worse, Dems in Congress cut off all aid to S. Vietnam to fight.

Bombing works but it is a slower strategy than invasion and not a direct path to regime change. That, as always, depends on the Iranian people.

For the US, the stated goal has always been to prevent nukes, and we have pretty much done that and can continue to do that. And that is the gist of the difference between Israel and US--Israel thinks regime change is possible, US is not very sure about it.
