Single DIMM gaming works better than you might think. (Tom's Hardware)

Assuming you're not using integrated graphics. If you are, it works exactly as you would think.

But if you have a graphics card, and the graphics card has enough memory of its own, and your single DIMM has enough memory, and you have an AMD X3D CPU, the performance loss is only around 3% on average.

And given that I have a 128GB kit (2x64GB) and a 96GB kit (2x48GB) I could run four systems rather than two if they all had X3D processors. Not that I need four systems, but I could.

Hopefully the temperature will fall some. With the A/C running my electric bill shot up to $97.00. Well at least I kept it under a hundred dollars.🙂

(He has no lines but plays a costume partygoer who is done up as Dr. Jekyll, drinks a potion, and turns into Mr. Hyde.) Not a "serious" movie -- and thank goodness for that. It's light, frothy, funny (especially about the movie business), and just plain fun.

40 We watched the classic The Spiral Staircase, the 1946 original with Dorothy McGuire, the other night too. It has a bulldog in it. (Nothing terrible happens to him, I promise.) Still very effective, so much so that it's been remade two or three times -- including a 1961 TV version with Elizabeth Montgomery as the mute girl and with Gig Young (her husband at the time).

There was even a radio version. How could they do that, you ask, when the lead character speaks only two or three lines at the very end? The scripters gave her a running internal monologue, spoken by Dorothy recreating her role, so that the listeners would know what was happening and how she was reacting.

Public school, and yes, we were expected to learn -- and to get good enough grades to be promoted to the next grade. We weren't just passed along up the ladder no matter what. One of my buddies in eighth grade, though very smart, just couldn't be motivated to do the work (easy as it was), and had to repeat the grade.

That's the one. Yes, it used to be in Kenner and they moved to Westwego. I liked the Kenner site. There was a great breakfast they served and down the road there was an excellent seafood restaurant.
