Border Dividend: Reductions In the Number of Foreign Students Requiring English-Learning Reduces the Cost of Education in Texas and Florida By Nearly $1 Billion in a Single Year

A border enforcement dividend we can all share.Texas saw a similar Border Enforcement Dividend.
Declines in the number of English-learning students enrolled in Florida and Texas public schools during the 2025--26 school year were associated with an estimated $835 million to $890 million reduction in education funding across the two states, according to an American Accountability Foundation report obtained exclusively by Breitbart News. The July 23 memorandum, issued by Thomas Jones of the American Accountability Foundation and addressed to the Republican Governors Association, attributes the enrollment changes to the Trump administration's immigration-enforcement policies following several years of increases under former President Joe Biden. "In Florida the news is good; in Texas, where the drop far outpaced the overall enrollment trend, the news is great," the report states. Florida classifies students actively receiving English-language-learner instruction under the designation "LY." That population increased from 277,473 during the 2021--22 school year to 368,068 in 2024--25, an increase of 90,595 students, or 32.7 percent. During 2025--26, however, the number fell by 23,641 students to 344,427, representing a 6.4 percent decline and the first decrease in the period examined by AAF. AAF said the number of students entering post-exit monitoring continued to rise, which it argued showed that students were "not dropping out mid-program" and that the decline instead reflected fewer new English learners entering Florida schools. The Florida Education Finance Program funds English-learning students through an English for Speakers of Other Languages cost factor of 1.165, or 16.5 percent above the base amount. Using a Base Student Allocation of $5,372.60, AAF calculated average total funding of approximately $9,122.93 per student during 2025--26.

We've been grammar schools around here close for a while. Not enough kids anymore to justify all of them.

Years back they had a beautiful, grotesque Third World-type scandal on the school board, forget details, think it was like the city of Bell up in LA area where the elected officials were just running an organized crime farce.

But the feral government is way less hostile to business under Trump than under the Barky and Bribem regimes and yet people are having a hard time finding jobs. I don't think AI can be that big of a factor yet, and a decent # of Bribem's flood of illegals have been removed.
The only thing I can think of and this is a wild guess is that enough dirty communists have infiltrated HRs and those communists want a bad economy to boost D election results, so they are shredding applications, then telling management they can't find qualified candidates to purposefully hurt the economy.

There is a massive grift going on in schools with specialization teachers. There’s the old school stud like special ed and English as a second language. But now it has expanded where kids with “anxiety” get their own personal babysitter teacher. Or kids with ADHD or any of the other made up diseases. Instead of 1 teacher in a. Classroom now there can be 5 or 10 teachers in a classroom. That’s how you get declining enrollment with increased employment for teachers.

The radio host self labels as libertarian and small government. He does dislike Trump for helping to primary out some "freedom caucus" or some such politicians. Personally I think some of those oh so principled very conservative politicians just talked a good game, always voting against bills that would limit gub'mint or cut spending a little bit because "we have to cut spending and red tape by way way more" while knowing full well that goal is unobtainable except by taking the teeny step and then working for the next teeny step.

The fact that it happened over and over suggests that she understood he was trying to preserve an appellate issue and she didn't want him to create a detailed record about what evidence she had excluded and why the defence believed those rulings were wrong. Once or twice would be one thing, but when it happened every time, it comes across like she was trying to systematically prevent the defence from creating the paper trail that would be needed to challenge those rulings on appeal.
I understand that Shiloh's team is working on getting the transcript of the trial made available, but it is extremely expensive, so please consider making a donation to (see pinned post on Tom Hennessy's page) to help get this done so we can have some transparency about what went on in the courtroom.

I suppose there must have been some, but in that era, there was very little intra-Asian mixing at all -- Chinese stayed with Chinese, Japanese with Japanese, etc., so I don't think there was much action for the Filipino guys, who had practicaly no potential mates in the US.
All this changed after WWII, when immigration from the Philippines was greatly relaxed, as a reward for being a strong ally against the Japs in WWII. So finally both genders were allowed in, and the male/female ration started to normalize. But even then -- would an 18-year-ld Filipina girl marry a sad poor 60-year-old Filipino guy? Probably not. So the loneliness problem persisted, now due to the age gap, not the race gap.

One of the reasons we pulled our son out of public school is because In first grade he had 3 teachers in the same classroom. He and the 4 other smart kids were put at the same table and given books to read on their own while the teachers spent all of their time on the non-engrish speaking kids.

Workplace/employer enforcement is the key to any serious immigration law restoration. Getting rid of the "worst of the worst" is nice and all, but it's a small part of the problem.
I wouldn't bet any more $ than I have in my wallet that it will get done or even get seriously under way.

The radio host self labels as libertarian and small government. He does dislike Trump for helping to primary out some "freedom caucus" or some such politicians. We are talking 7-8,000 or more pulled in from the country side to fvck what amounted to an entire carrier battle group for four to five days.
Pretty sure they could supply 30 or 40 thousand hookers at a moments notice if the money was right.

Generally speaking, though, the half-breeds born to the raped women are not counted among the normal population. I don't think that a child born to a Korean "comfort woman" would be considered Japanese by most Japanese.

Yes, the same policy also applied to Chinese immigrants, for the same reason (women-->presumed prostitutes), but was less strictly enforced -- plus there was already a pre-existing mixed-gender Chinese population in California from the era before immigration was controlled, so although there was also an epidemic of lonely Chinese men, it wasn't as extreme as with the Filipino guys, since there were at least some mates available.

In pretty much all these societies there were plenty of strata of 'race pure' people who were in the wrong caste of society and were also persona non grata.
The US is one of the few places to have such a distinctively visible race and very weak class structure to base modern liberal's world view on.
