Columnist Warns That the Constant Anti-Marriage Agitation from the Communist/Nihilist/Anti-Natalist Left is Leaving Women Lonely, Sad, and Bitter

But that's the entire point.

Since the 1920s, it has been the goal of communists to destabilize western societies and immiserate them so that the public would accept the idea of burning it all down and letting the bloody-minded lunatics of the left further degrade and destroy civilization.

Communists realized the "workers' were just too satisfied in western capitalist societies to support communism.

So they set about changing that.


A growing anti-marriage movement is being fueled by viral TikTok trends and high-profile celebrities painting men as the enemy, but according to a new column, women may ultimately be the ones losing out.

In a USA Today op-ed, columnist Ingrid Jacques warned of a rising wave of "heteropessimism," defining it as women's growing feelings of disappointment and antagonism toward relationships with men. She argued that viral trends like "divorce glow-ups" and anti-male literature have actively widened the divide between the sexes.

"Studies show that married women are not only happier but also live longer and earn more than their single counterparts," Jacques wrote on Tuesday.

The trend coincides with falling US marriage and birth rates. Official US Census Bureau data from December shows that just 47% of American households in 2025 were married couples, down from nearly 66% 50 years ago.

Of those married households, only 37% included their own children under age 18, compared to 54% in 1975.

Jacques linked the shift directly to liberal ideology, noting that left-leaning Americans choose to opt out of traditional family lifestyles "far more often than conservatives."

"Wherever you look these days, women who 'free' themselves from the chains of marriage are being celebrated," Jacques wrote.

A 2024 American Family Survey found that 37% of conservative women and 28% of moderate women, between the ages of 18 and 40, reported being "completely satisfied" with their lives.

However, liberal women of the same age reported only 12% feeling the same way.

Citing Louise Perry, author of "The Case Against the Sexual Revolution," Jacques argued that young women are being alienated after getting "burned by hookup culture" and lacking real friendships with the opposite sex.

Jacques argued that, like Perry, returning to marriage, not abandoning men altogether, is the remedy for the cultural divide.

"That won't be true for everyone, of course," Jacques concluded. "But men and women need to find a way back to each other. Discounting marriage won't get them there."

If you really want to destroy civilization in a hurry, go to the very heart of the human experience -- family and mating -- and destroy that.

My junior high in the mid 1980s had a nurse's station. Everyone gets hurt in PE so that's not the problem. The problem was the posters on the wall. Some, yeah, "say no to drugs", "don't drink and drive" etc. But some had this sad looking blonde teenager with the logo "It's like being grounded for 18 years".
Okay, nobody sane wants teenagers knocked up when they're 14 or whatever.
But that message is carried forward and remembered when the girls are 28 and they're not girls anymore.

I don't think that Cesar can be taken as representative, since the constant flow of fresh migrant farm workers made it impossible to unionize them in the first place. I have no idea how young people are supposed to meet each other anymore. People's friend circles are very small now. They don't do social clubs. They don't go to church. Feminists have made approaching women at the gym, the grocery store, the run club or other places like that, "creepy." A significant majority of women, when polled, say, "Don't ever approach a woman in the gym."

So what's left? The bar scene? Hookup apps? Those are meat markets for sex, and a lot of women aren't on them. College? Lots of college girls think that's the time to go wild and don't want to settle down so young. So they're not looking for a husband or serious boyfriend.

This is an interesting one. Plenty of women complain about guys approaching them out of the blue and being "creepy".

I've been assuming the GOP loses the House by a small margin (5-10 seats, max) for more than a year.

Just how turnout differentials work. Out of power parties tend to perform better. Not even Obama's people could figure out how to reverse it, and Obama's people were hailed as political geniuses especially their use of micro-targeting ads on Facebook (which Facebook helped with).

However, it won't mean anything. Impeachment will go nowhere (they couldn't get Trump after 1/6, and they're not going to get him now for whatever bullshit they bring up). DHS is fully funded through 2028. DOJ doesn't take orders from Congress.

What is fueling the anger right now is that there were quite a few underhanded things the Dem Party did with funding, etc, during the primary to make sure Talarico won and Jasmine lost - and Jasmine's supporters know about it and are pissed off about it.

Related, Jasmine herself has been complaining that the entier election process is "Rayciss!" I don't know about other states, but this has been particularly true in Texas, and it's directly the fault of the Democrat Party. They have spent the last 30 - 40 years building up the black vote as the most important and monolithic voting block in their coalition, backed up by organizers, local politicians, and even preachers. They have told them over and over "Your community will get benefits, your politicians will get representation!, you will reap the financial rewards!" (In many cases, literal cash payouts in poorer areas)

So when an election comes around and they're told "ok none of your people this time, just suck it up and go along" they say WAIT ONE DAMN MINUTE THIS AIN'T WHAT WE WERE SOLD! And they register their displeasure by not showing up.

What I am, though, is a realist. I'm 45, well employed, funny, and medium looking. In the NoVa area. Every trying to get to the 'dating' part is dangerous up here. Most women are very left just for starters. Add in that if you talk to the wrong girl out in the wild and you're looking at shrieks of harassment. Bars are out - no thanks. Work is out - dangerous and complicated. So apps?

I think it's absolutely worth the time, effort, and money required. But the pool is remarkably small and fraught with peril.

Hence the looking for work in other parts of the country.

It's not the Senate rules. Senate rules are a clear majority of the Senate needs to approve it.

On average, women will conform to the culture around them. Bringing one of those traditional women here will, more likely than not, turn her into a postmodern woman.

So, you can be a "passport bro" -- and stay *there*. Be an expat. But that means giving up on America, which I still believe is the best hope for a future with human liberty and dignity, let alone prosperity. If the U.S. falls to Islamunist tyranny, its power will be used to spread it everywhere, and no place will be safe.

But if staying means Darwinian failure, it's a sensible alternative, I guess. The more women who make themselves unmarriageable, the more men who will fail to find a mate, and there's no easy answer to that. You'd have to change the culture itself -- and if you made progress, then you'd presumably get the Charlie Kirk treatment.

Western Slavery of the 16th through 19th centuries.
Slavery existed in Africa, as tribes enslaved other tribes and sold them to the Western and Muslim slavers.
China had slaves.
Muslims had and have slaves.
Natives in the Americas had slaves.
Slavery was the rule, not the exception, for most of humanity's existence.
