16 Intel invested a lot into Linux and when it hit a low point, it started shutting down a lot of linux projects and laying off or recalling employees engaged in linux distros for Intel. Graphics drivers though don't appear to be one of those areas. But Clear, which was Intel's pet Linux OS is dead at least for now as of about one year ago.

They used it internally and for developing drivers. In speed tests, it was always at the top of the rankings but if you used other than Intel products, it could be frustrating.

I recall reading that Ship Island (one of the Channel Islands there) used to be just one island. After Camille, it became 2 islands. I enjoyed my 2 times there along that stretch of the Gulf of America! I liked Biloxi. All those towns along US Rt 90 had a nice little vibe to them. This was late 80s, early 90s. Not sure what it's like now.
