Border Patrol Wanted to Question Fauci's Catspaw Peter Daszak When He Returned from the Wuhan Lab in China.
The FBI Blocked Them from Asking Fauci's Pal Any Questions.

We need a Truth and Reconciliation Committee to discover what was really going on in Wuhan and which government officials need to be in prison.

Senate Homeland Security Chairman Rand Paul released new documents Monday that he said revealed the FBI stopped Customs and Border Patrol from searching and questioning Peter Daszak upon his return to the United States from China.

..

Paul said that CBP was prepared to stop Daszak, who was the president of EcoHealth Alliance at the time, when he landed in New York in February 2021, but was told by the FBI days before Daszak landed not to question him and the inspection never took place.

CBP was reportedly expected to ask Daszak about his contacts at the Wuhan lab, whether he collected or transported biological samples, and what happened during his trip to China.

Fauci refused to appear before Congress voluntarily to answer questions about his previous perjuries and obstructions of Congress, and is now facing a subpoena.

Anthony Fauci will face a subpoena to testify publicly in July, a lawmaker said Monday.

According to a social media post from Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been issued a subpoena to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

The development comes as Fauci said he would not voluntarily testify after previously agreeing to do so, Paul said.

"Today, I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month," Paul said in the post.

...

Conservative commentator Michael Knowles said Fauci committed "clear perjury" in 2024 congressional testimony during an appearance on NewsNation's "CUOMO," claiming the former public health official lied under oath about his contacts with the U.S. intelligence community over COVID-19's origins.

The accusation came on the heels of outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard releasing a tranche of documents on her final day in office, which she said proved Fauci worked to suppress the truth about the coronavirus's lab-leak origins and U.S. funding of related research.

Knowles pointed to CIA memoranda and whistleblower accounts he said show Fauci did discuss COVID's origins with intelligence officials -- directly contradicting his 2024 sworn testimony.

"That was clear perjury, and that's within the statute of limitations," Knowles said. "We know that from CIA briefings. We know that from whistleblowers."

Note that if he lies again, he can be prosecuted.

But he will almost certainly plead the Fifth and answer no questions.

Happy Tuesday. I hope everyone's cool and in the shade.

87 40 How does Fauci sleep at night.
He's responsible for almost 7M deaths worldwide.
He indirectly killed more people that the Nazi concentration camps did.
He ruined the academic performance of millions of American school children.
He caused the failure of untold small businesses that didn't survive the Covid shutdowns.
He ruined the careers of actual scientists who pointed out his lies.
And then lied about everything over and over.
He has no soul or conscience.

Unfortunately government, corporations, and ngos are full of these sociopaths. Fauci had henchmen in CEO roles at Pfizer and Moderna after all. And all the caring medical professionals that used protocols that blocked visitors to ill patients, issued Remdisivir when it had already proven to be deadly in side effects, and put patients in ventilators effectively killing them in the process.

Fauci may have started the ball rolling but the rest of the vile public health establishment, their counterparts in hospitals, big Pharma, and other practioners sucking on the government tit, and the countless meat robots of the local and state public health agencies. Inhumane death machine.

Kaylee Hottle was a young Deaf actress who portrayed the character Jia in 2021’s ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ and 2024’s ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’

Yes, they capitalized "Deaf." I really wanted to ask, "Where do the Deaf come from? Is it a country in Asia?"

Because you capitalize proper nouns, not adjectives. They are making "deaf" into a category - a type - of humans, instead of a description of a human.

160 As someone who has worked outside in all weather much of his life, I can say down to about freezing isn’t too bad at all. Of course ya gotta be dressed properly.

Cold ain’t so bad. Wet and wind - if you get soaked you ain’t gonna like it. At least in freezing conditions it’s easier to stay dry.

But once temps go below freezing, somewhere around 25 or 20°F it starts to get pretty rude.

When you see a high of say, 5 for the day, it is depressing. Five. Single digits. Then it continues into dangerous territory. High winds & below zero; you’re gonna get cold no matter what, if you stay out long enough.

If it never went below freezing or above 68F it wouldn’t bother me too much

Iran's hope was that the US would invade and they could bog down in a protracted and politically costly affair for Trump. That hope isn't going to be fulfilled. They can cause some anxiety in the shipping lanes, but it is orders of magnitude less than it was. There are logistical solutions that will manifest if they keep being aholes. Long term they were going for the bomb because they saw the handwriting on the wall. Their positional high ground, was never an absolute and with enough economic and political will they can be bypassed. They were on borrowed time and they knew it. Time ran out. Apparently she announced she's in it to win, and will run for a full senate term. Eff these nepo family seats that families feel entitled to inheriting forever!

Some guy is primarying her, is he a RINO or actually somewhat on the Trump side of the aisle?
Posted by: LizLem
=======
Trump encouraged her to run and she is accomplished in her own right, not just a nepo baby. The secret to Lindsay Graham's persistence is that he inherited a very good and effective constituency service operation from Strom Thurmond and kept it running. So he routinely beat competitors whether Democrat or GOP because he had helped a helluva lot of constituents in South Carolina.

And contrary to most nepots like the Dingles, the Grahams never sold out and have relatively modest homes and wealth.

So I think Lindsay's sister is the exception to the rule. A similar case is the first female senator elected in her own right, Hattie Caraway, who ended up being a better politician than her dead husband who was a House member and served a very short time as a Senator before dying in office. Hattie surprised the hell outta pols.

They had a thread recently on Usha giving birth. I enjoyed seeing the TDS gays trying to hard to paint JD as someone that is a breeder trying to propagate the white race. And then other gays had to gently remind them, akshually his wife is Indian, so he is breeding mixed race babies...

The amount of racism, anti trans, and anti gay conservative comments over there is something else. A lot of the eldergays have grudges against the trans movement hijacking their spotlight. CIA, DoD, etc. have ran a program that started in the aftermath of the Sov Union collapse which paid lab people to do research to keep them out of the hands of Norks, Iran, etc.

And that program mutated into something nasty--plausibly deniable research into activities forbidden by the Chemical and Biological Warfare treaties. Justified because Chicoms, Russians, Iran, Norks, and other shitheads were doing it too--so it was for 'defensive' reasons.

He may try to weasel out by claiming that he has state law exposure despite Joe's pardon.

Five things House Democrats are going to do once we have the majority:

Medicare for All
A living wage
Stronger union protections
$10 a day childcare
End aid to Israel

i.e. TAXING THE SHIT out of everyone.

315 The DOJ website plainly states that it doesn't so I think the standing assumption is he'd still be prosecutable by states.
Posted by: Red Turban Someguy
========
That is an assumption but it appears the Tina Peters pardon by POTUS stirred up some research indicating that it was originally believed to reach state crimes as well. The language of the pardon's clause, "he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States" can be read either federal only or all of the United 'states'. You start getting into textualism and originalism at that point because the plural was used sometimes to mean both states and federal and sometimes just to the federal government itself.

I don't think it has been tested in court for a definitive interpretation and it is simply another thing too many people assume rather than know.

Lawyers by and large are crappy historians because a) they bring an advocacy mindset to such questions, and b) active lawyers only care what the law says now, not what it may have said in the past. So presentism.

It’ll be a way for Shaniqua to put her 3 kids by 3 baby daddies in daycare for free while she kicks it at home stress free.

My bet is that he'll be implicated in upcoming RICO cases that will be purely federal, and he'll already have proven himself a weasel,

Congress has the power to issue transactional immunity for even state charges. It prevents the testimony from being used period for prosecution except if teh witness lies--then they can be charged with lying to Congress.

All those who voted should be in HANDCUFFS.

Also, all those who voted should be deported. Sherrill should be in handcuffs.

330 I can see a resemblance between Mickey Mouse and a minstrel figure.

However, he's a mouse. Mice are commonly black. His face was probably made white because it made it easier to draw expressions in black & white.

I don't see it. Minstrel faces are almost entirely black with some white around the eyes and mouth.
http://tiny.cc/ks37101

Mickey's face is almost entirely white with black hairline, nose, and ears.
http://tiny.cc/ms37101

I suppose you could argue the exaggerated facial expressions and musical performance is a bit minstrel-y, but that feels like an expansion of the definition. Are all exaggerated musical performances from that era minstrel shows?

Gain of Function is bioweapons research

And all the tap dancing and farting that Fauci did before Congress by claiming that Rand Paul did not know what truly was GoF research was perjury to deflect from its obvious connection to bioweapons research.

336 Why doesn't Senate Homeland Security Chairman Rand Paul tell FBI Director Kash Patel to identify those managers in the FBI who stopped Customs and Border Patrol from searching and questioning Peter Daszak upon his return to the United States from China? This is a simple request to be expedited. Once you have identified the perps, you confiscate their communications to follow the malfeasance to the source.
