Tree Guardians by John Kent

Parker the Beagle was timid and shy and failed as a hunting dog, so he was kept in a cage. But a kind woman rescued him.

The greatest dog video I've ever seen.

Arranging a marriage for a lonely bachelor bunny.

Tiny piglet makes friends with the whole farm.

Crow knocks on the window every morning to play with the house's dog and cat.
Poor golden retriever has had his bed stolen by an evil kitten.

Republican whale pounces.

Two Best of Breed wins for The Big Dummy at today's Houston KC and concurrent Houston Area Hound Association shows. No joy in either Hound Group, but there are lots of high rollers in town.

7 Cuties!

The top image reminds me that I LOVED Sheep Detective. IT was charming, a fun mystery, and also made me have deep feelings about death and memory.

And before the weekend box office rolls in for Nolan's Odyssey...I think it will do great its first two weeks because of the huge IMAX presales, and the Nolan stans are a strong force. The drop off two weeks from now will be telling if it has legs. But the new Spider-Man movie will swoop into theaters right after, and that film is going to be HUGE. The last one ended on a gangbuster cliffhanger, and Peter finally got his big losses. People want to see the resolution. It might take away the Nolan audience. We'll see. I'm interested in seeing both movies, but not opening weekend, maybe in a few weeks.
