The Morning Report — 7/ 13 /26

ChaoPuppet.jpg

Good morning kids. So, to paraphrase the revolting blather of Barack Obama, Lindsey Graham is dead but Mitch McConnell is alive. Just like way back when the notion that GM was "alive" McConnell on the other hand conveniently mugging from his bed for the cameras belies his actual heath and fitness to remain in the Senate. In any case as for Graham, condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

President Trump and VP Vance had this to say about the late senator

President Donald Trump on Sunday expressed his sadness over the sudden passing of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) at 71 years old and called Graham “a true American Patriot.” Vice President JD Vance remembered Graham in a post on X Sunday morning:
Lindsey Graham came from humble beginnings and became one of the most powerful lawmakers in the most powerful nation on Earth. His story was a fundamentally American one. Early in my Senate tenure, I remember getting into a shouting match with Lindsey about a Ukraine funding bill at lunch and then learning the very next day that he was pushing rail legislation I really cared about behind the scenes. That was Lindsey Graham. He fought like hell for the things he believed in, and he was just as willing to go to bat for you when it counted.

For me, Lindsey Graham's record as a warrior for conservative principles was spotty at best if not dismal. After all, his moniker for many years was Graham-nesty and for good reason. As the leader of the so-called "Gang of Eight" he pushed hardest to grant amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens already here during the Obama years. Open borders and illegal aliens are a boon to corporate donors to the GOP and by extension to Graham and his ilk who will gladly wet their beaks at the expense of the indigenous American worker by destroying the wages of real working real Americans. And we all know what massive illegal alien populations do for the Democrats. So, farewell Lindsey Graham and RIP. Here's hoping whoever succeeds you as the Senator from South Carolina will be a real champion of Americanism, America and the free market. Yes, I do realize that Marco Rubio was also a part of that hideous cabal. But his tenure as secretary of State as well as his evolution into a real MAGA stalwart at least in my mind has absolved him of that ill-advised position. Rubio unless and until proven otherwise represents a real hope for our future.

While Graham was only 71 and McConnell 84, both are representative of the entrenched gerontocracy in Washington DC whose sole purpose is the lining of their own pockets at the expense of the taxpayers and in the case of Republicans aiding and abetting the Democrat party's dismantling of America as founded all to get wealthy at the cost of our liberty.

Yes, that is one option. Puts US boots on the ground. Our Arab "Allies" can not be trusted with that task.

My plan:
Every day we do not get the enriched uranium, an open Strait of Hormuz, and a surrender, strike a power plant. Use drones to destroy it.

Start with the plants that power Tehran City, then Tehran Province. Use IRGC control status to sort the next targets.
Do this every day.

After each power plant is destroyed, have Trump send a message by his hidden channels of communications: "Inshallah."

89 I had a grandfather who died the same way Graham did - perfectly fine one day. Dropped dead the next morning. So people are saying Lindsey’s death doesn’t make sense, well deaths like that never make sense; but they happen.

--

These people must be living under a rock. Sudden deaths, here today/gone tomorrow, are fairly common. For Lindsay Graham, it was his heart. For my mom, a massive stroke. No signs of any oncoming health disaster. It just happens.

101 The thing with Mitch's photo - it's a photo, not a video. so easier to fake. It has him with no IVs, no injuries, nothing wrong - if he's at that state, what is he still doing in a hospital vs at home or at a rehab facility? No hospital lets you stay in that state of monitoring nothing. It also has him in the chair for visitors vs a bed (unless they've changed the beds to those chairs in my time) - why?

So, I suspect it was a fake...or faked to some extent. I know I shouldn't, but again timing (b/c Graham died and the noise was gonna get defeaning) is everything...

Senator Graham was close to the president for a reason. He greatly evolved his position on immigration to the point he constantly supported building the wall when nobody else did. He also recently sponsored a bill to get rid of sanctuary cities.

Say what you will, but the man was a tireless worker for the American people. He never let any grass grow under his feet. He was constantly talking to people trying to understand what the citizens wanted. He put a lot of that talk into action.

He will be sorely missed, not just as a nice man who truly cared about the country, but as a tireless worker on our collective behalf- something I dare say is lacking in Congress.

I don't think it was power for the sake of power. I think Graham was true believer in his foreign policy positions and as Vance said fought like hell for them.

He was McCain's junior partner in Ukraine and kind of ironic that he died just after returning from that dump. He was a big time neo con. But he did have some redeeming features including his stand up support of Kavanaugh when he was being slimed with the Ford bullshit and he mostly came around to support Trump. 203 "The Supreme Court just broke the Constitution—but the States can fix it"

Article V. A Constitutional Convention. 2/3 of the state legislatures required to even call one, and 3/4 of the state legislatures required to ratify any proposed amendment.

Given how divided things are, that's NOT happening, and maybe that's a good thing, because anything can be proposed at a Constitutional Convention.

Let me repeat that: ANYTHING can be proposed at a Constitutional Convention.

You want to propose an amendment to fix the birth/citizenship question. Fine, you do that.

Suddenly, from the floor, California proposes an amendment that would allow non-natural born citizens to run for President.

Washington State proposes an amendment that would cement a Universal Basic Income.

New York proposes a 99% Income Tax on persons making over 2 million dollars a year. (Note that would include legal fictitious persons known as corporations.)

Lurking in the background is the framework of the USSA (United Socialist States of America) - an entirely new Constitution that could be proposed to replace the existing Constitution.

Constitutional Conventions are the Pandora's Box of politics.

Yeah, like the Climate Cult in the West doesn't receive hundreds of billions of dollars in government wealth transfers to support the apocalyptic views that every weather event is proof of Global Warming and mass extinction event.

Or if a person doesn't mask and take the Kill Shot, there will be a mass extinction event during C19.

In contrast, the Roman Catholic Church is doing quite fine without massive government ad-buys and arm-twisting. Even when Western governments seek out and try to destroy those who practice their faith.

But everything else about it I find annoying: little things like stoplights remain red longer than I’m used to… people’s passive aggressive driving bothers me… I see a LOT of houses where the owners just don’t keep things looking good; ramshackled houses and lawns, detritus laying about on yards, sloppy looking… just a few blocks from an immaculate gated community…. And the final indignity: the freaking weather. I don’t enjoy living in a tropical jungle where the humidity is like being in a sauna.., glasses fog up when you walk outside. It’s exhausting… how can you enjoy the beach (only a few miles away) while you’re sweating your ass off??

An ice storm had taken down the airport radar system across the northeast and all takeoffs and landings were cancelled. We got rerouted to Charlotte. By the time we got there all locals hotels were booked so a bunch of us got stranded in the terminal for 2 days. Slept in one of those rocking chairs. We drank a lot.

262 Oh, good. DFW airport is building another terminal because five isn't enough.

I would be good with that if the new terminal was being built to deport illegal aliens and it was kept busy 24/7.

The current configuration of terminals A, B, C, D and E has been around for about 21 years. In that span of time the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington MSA has grown from 5.816 million to 8.477 million. Its due.

Fun Fact: The original master plan back in 1974 was to have 13 semicircular terminals.

It looks like a Ponzi Scheme only because the US has experienced massive economic grown either real or simulated (aka "inflation"). The reasoning was kind of like the reason for the Fed Reserve — you want to have a big enough retirement pool or means to keep a stream alive to survive economic ups and downs. This is a product of the Great Depression. 2008 was affirmation that the Ponzi Scheme was effective when the markets took a dive because of Fed pressure to banks to adjust their loan portfolio to provide mortgages to high credit risks.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are basic self-care tasks that individuals perform daily to maintain their health and well-being, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and using the toilet. These activities are essential for independent living and are often used by healthcare professionals to assess a person's functional status.

368 'Morning, all. Thanks, J.J.

Graham has just returned from a trip to Ukraine, his 10th since 2022. A big friend of Ukraine, a powerful advocate of NATO, but also supporting "Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories" (Al Jazeera) and the administration's push to dismantle USAID (@Abcnews4, Sen. Graham backs Trump's push to dismantle USID, YouTube).

It's so very easy to see what the progressive platform will be for his Senate seat, and the battle for that Senate seat will prove to be interesting, imo. And with that, may Lindsay Graham RIP.

Now Senator Mitch McConnell really ticks people off, but I'm always mindful of one of the biggest political accomplishments in decades:

Antonin Scalia, an American giant in politics & law, served on the U.S. Supreme Court from 1986 until his sudden passing in 2016. (The Harvard Gazette: Death of a judicial giant.)

March 2016, President Obama nominated Merrick Garland—then the chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit— to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell successfully blocked Merrick Garland's nomination by refusing to hold any hearings or a vote.

Continued -

Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 13, 2026 09:07 AM (NFX2v)

369 McConnell argued that because it was an election year, the seat left vacant by Antonin Scalia's death should be filled by the next president. As a result, the nomination officially expired when the 114th Congress ended. After winning the 2016 election, President Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch to fill the vacant seat in January 2017.

And Garland's daughter's, Jessica, appointment to clerk for Justice Kagan was delayed until he left office because the Justice Department is involved in a significant portion of the Court's docket. (The Supreme Court announced in July 2021 that her clerkship would be postponed.)

Following her father leaving office in January 2025 and her time working as a litigation associate, she officially joined Justice Kagan's chambers as a clerk for the 2026 court term.

Change is coming.

Good day 🤗
