Raleigh Yacht America1.jpg

The Yacht America

Charles S. Raleigh

From the Smithsonian Museum:

The original yacht America was built in 1851 to compete in the Hundred Guinea Cup, the only American entry against fourteen British vessels. When the race was over, Queen Victoria asked, "Who is in first place?" and was told that America had won. When she asked, "Then who is in second?" the American boat had such a strong lead that the reply was: "Madam, there is no second." After this, the race became known as the America's Cup.

A sailboat has sails.

A yacht is a sail- or motor-propelled watercraft made for pleasure, cruising, or racing.

So a yacht can have sails, or a motor, and a sailboat can be a yacht or a warship, or merchantman.

As far as election cheat schemes go, this one is the absolute best so far. Get a massive amount of ballots legalized (laundered) from otherwise ineligible voters who will likely never vote anyway, and make it legal to have votes counted after election day. 277 260 Zendaya has been in a total of 14 films and roughly half of her filmography has been either Spiderman or Dune films.

She's actually under exposed.

278 plus add to the census count to get extra representation

This is a point that gets lost in the discussion a lot. Assume that in fact no illegals vote.

In a state that sends illegals home the 760K citizens in a house district get one Rep.

Then in a state that brings in illegals every 300k citizens get a state rep because they've got 460k illegals around them.

Is this fair? No. In fact this sort of game caused major issues in Britain years ago as "rotten boroughs"

My wife and I went on an afternoon sail out of Key West. Very breezy day, boat making 11 knots with just mainsail and jib. A wonderful time.

I think the primary issue is that the new Dune films are not good overall and are simply not an improvement over the 1984 film.

But Zendaya plays Zendaya in every movie she's in.

I think Paul, his mother, and even Jason Momoa did well but ugh every scene with Chani was like watching a Disney special focused on a teenager with a troubled dating life.

Oh my Gawdddd Becky. Paul is totally going to miss the prom to like play with his sandworm. We have to fix this!
