Not only is there video of Robinson "stalking" the campus the day of the murder, but apparently... there's actually video of him taking the shot.

No Israeli Rabbinical Assassins, French Intelligence Hit-Men, or maroon-shirted Mormon Bee Cultists were seen in the video. Robinson did not form a "Satanic Pentagram" around Charlie Kirk as xhe shot him.

Now this is video, I guess, that the judge refused to play for the public. But those actually present in court saw it.

You can see crystal clear Tyler Robinson's face, the license plate number on his vehicle, details on his clothing and his actions on the rooftop -- and you can time every horrifying detail to the minute Charlie Kirk was murdered.
What the public couldn't see was the emotion in the courtroom. Charlie's family sobbing uncontrollably, Erika in Mrs. Kirk's seniors arms. Charlie's father comforting them.
Just feet away sat a pale, lifeless emaciated Tyler Robinson who stared at the floor with no remorse as he listened to the weeping.
Robinson has never once looked at Erika this entire trial. The entire courthouse gasped when the video was over.
Eventually this footage will be released. It was really tough to relive that day in such gruesome detail.

One thing bothers me: I know prosecutors don't want to "put on the case before they put on the case" at actual trial, but given the strong public interest in this case and the ludicrous conspiracy theories of Cavernous Nostrils and her Nazi cultists-- couldn't they have shown this video?

Eh. The paper is actually from 2015. It's not new.
It's a well done paper that's cited frequently and hasn't been retracted. As to the idea that SSRIs "contribute to depression instead of helping patients" this has been understood for a long time IN THE SHORT TERM. Within the first couple of weeks of ingestion, some depressive states can increase, but soon after that the patient will, in most cases, improve over the baseline.

Additionally, the idea that more serotonin = more happiness hasn't been considered correct for a while. SSRIs are still widely regarded as helpful for treating depression with the understanding that their functional mechanism isn't simply boosting serotonin.

So say you have an issue with a part. There is a time stamp and date on the part label that let's you then narrow it down from the 1000s of hours from the relevant cameras and see if something out of the ordinary happened when that part was made.

There is no way anyone is watching those cameras unless a watchman is trying to scope drunk cords at night.

Personal experience of spending some time in a cam room? There may be one or two guys watching. The main screens in security departments shift from one cam to another quite often. Doesn't mean it's available all the time. Should there have been someone watching because the president was there? Of course. Doesn't mean there was.

It's a tough issue without a black and white answer.

There's a sweet spot but I know the government will always go beyond that sweet spot even if initially it's forbidden.

Personally I don't feel violated currently by the cameras but I know others do and the world doesn't revolve around me. There's a point though I would feel violated and don't want a foot in the door to get there.

Like I said, tough issue to balance.
