Jasmine Ratchet: I Only Lost the Primary Because It Was a "Racist Race" Y'all, I Won't Be Campaigning with the Gay That Won

I wonder if she's debuting her podcast, too.

Radical leftist Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said race played a major role in her Democrat primary loss to Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico (D).
Crockett argued that racism, not politics, was the deciding factor in her Democrat primary loss to James Talarico.
"The reality is that there was a lot of races, not a lot, it was racist. It was a racist race. It is what it is, right? But we live in America as y'all are celebrating 250, okay? We know what this country is," Crockett said.
Crockett rejected criticism that she should have spent more time campaigning alongside Talarico. Instead, she said her strategy was to help down-ballot candidates, pointing to five black men she endorsed in Texas runoff races who all advanced to the November election.
"The best thing that I can do for James Talarico isn't me standing on a stage with him," Crockett said. "It is the fact that I endorsed five candidates in the runoff who all happen to be black men in the state of Texas and every single one of them won."
She pushed back on criticism that she should have campaigned more directly for Talarico, saying giving voters multiple candidates to support is a more effective strategy for boosting turnout.
"People keep trying to say, 'Well, Jasmine has to go and hold his hand.' No, I don't," she said. "If you can give people more than one thing to vote for, then you have a better chance of getting them out to the polls."

Crockett previously said she does not believe black voters have fully united behind Talarico's Senate campaign and confirmed she will skip next week's Texas Democrat Party convention.
She said she has not seen broad enthusiasm for Talarico or the rest of the party's statewide candidates, adding that many voters remain unconvinced despite several months remaining before the November election.
"I've not heard a bunch of kumbaya," Crockett said. "People don't seem to be convinced at this point, but there's a lot of time between now and November."

I credit the racial anger to Stephen Colbert, who broke FCC rules by interviewing the gay white kid and refusing to offer an interview to Ratchett. That was some straight racist shit from Colbert. Typical prog, using the blacks for power and then shutting them out of power themselves.

It's been shown that when there's a clear racial preference in a Democrat primary and the black choice loses, black turnout goes down by about 10%.

I'd call that a baseline for what will happen in Texas.

But, don't worry, the Austin white progressives who vote in literally every election will also vote for Talarico, meaning that Democrats will, on net, just lose voters.

The persistence of the Democrat party rests in its college educated and wealthy elites ironically centered in the old heartland of the Federalist party plus the left coast. It might be like the Federalist Party's death; as the basis for that party becomes too narrow to continue as a successful mass party.

This is especially so if the welfare clients start dropping off the twig by being deported or otherwise becoming gainfully employed.

I do think a second order effect of Callais (ending racial gerrymandering) is going to be the diffusion of the black vote.

It'll start with lower turnout ("no one to vote who looks like me" at the federal level) and progress towards less obvious partisanship as blacks have to look beyond the racial angle to engage in politics.

But, you have to admit, they are a rather entertaining Zoo exhibit. Their "brand new" $125 Million Library which started back in 2006 (requiring two increased bond purchases to complete) hired a "library futurist" during construction (I don't know what that is, and neither does anyone else). They finally get it built, and it becomes a "club house" for all the homeless in the city (sorry...."unhoused"). They show up every morning...make themselves at home enjoying the airconditioning, and taking advantage of the free internet (which they monopolize all day long so that no one else can use the computers). Austin has some serious infighting going on because of all this. Unfortunately...zoo rules, you're not allowed to feed the inhabitants.

Oh no! That is so bad. I am so sorry. I always use sensitive skin stuff because if anyone is going to end up with a big, swollen eye, it would be me. Magnetic lashes are the best, once you figure out how to make them work. There are plenty of trial and error periods before it clicks where they are going opposite directions and look like mini caterpillars fighting.
