Good morning kids. Considering tomorrow is not only Independence Day but the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, I'll try to keep things light, but considering the how, why and what of our nation's founding and the pedal to the metal headlong rush by a sizable percentage of our fellow citizens (at least on paper) to utterly eradicate it by the embracing of political philosophies and principles that are wholly antithetical to the founding and its bedrock core of several thousand years of human development based on Judeo/Christianity and our overcoming of evil, tyranny and the baser instincts of men to deprive their fellow men of life and liberty.

On her social media, Chevalier had bragged about being a Communist and praised Stalin. Now she’ll be a full-time government employee while wielding power over the lives of millions, but it would not have happened without the intersection of pro-terrorist activism and socialism. . . Democrats welcoming their first “Death to America” congresswoman is certainly a trend of sorts.
After Mamdani’s three endorsed candidates, including Chevalier, who oppose Israel and support Islamic terrorism, won, former VP Kamala Harris called to congratulate the Islamic politician and ask him for tips about breathing some life into her own flailing 2028 presidential campaign. . . Oct 7, like Occupy Wall Street or Black Lives Matter, had become a social contagion and a hysterical cause that could be used to recruit a new army of political foot soldiers for the far Left. Riots and clashes blooded them, social media confrontations indoctrinated them and now they’re moving into higher office on behalf of the DSA. . .What is happening is that the Democrats are disintegrating into a radical party even while losing more of the country. The DSA isn’t becoming popular so much as Democrats are becoming so hollowed out that even small groups of pro-Hamas activists can take over the party.
That’s bad news for America, but it’s even worse news for the Democratic Party.

this is not merely about Jews and Israel. In the view of this freak and really everyone like her is that Israel is the little Satan but America is the Great Satan! That was is and always will be the central motivating factor not merely of the DSA but of the Democrat Party as a whole, as it has always been ever since Aaron Burr slaughtered Alexander Hamilton in 1804 and ever since. It cannot be said enough but everything wrong with this country, all the pain, suffering, misery, dislocation and the wastage of blood treasure and human potential is directly the fault of or has been exacerbated by the will to power of the Democrat/Left, period full stop. Since losing the Civil War which they initiated in order to perpetuate slavery, they have done everything they could to seize power even if it meant glomming onto Satan himself to bring this nation down. No evil, perversion or lie was too horrendous to embrace if it got them a fraction of an inch closer to their goals. Even to this day is is evidenced by who and what is the driving force of what once supposedly was one of the two mainstream political parties of the USA. I still marvel how a Gus Hall/Angela Davis boosting card-carrying communist could ever have become a CIA agent let alone rise to head that agency itself. Meh, look who hired him, a dog-eating anti-American Muslim Commie whose principal booster was William Ayers, a man who fantasized about wiping out 25 million people who refused to accept a Weather/Underground run America once he and his cohorts seized power. That might have been back in 1968 but it was only a week or so ago where we had a story about a Democrat candidate who supported the mass roundup of ICE agents and Zionists and their forced castration.

That may be crackpot nuttery, but the frightening thing is not that but this little tidbit that considering the aforementioned should scare the shit out of you.

Nearly one-third of Democrats favor political leaders who identify as democratic socialists, according to a new poll, as recent primary victories by self-described democratic socialists have drawn renewed attention to the Democratic Party’s ideological direction. The Pew Research Center survey comes after democratic socialist candidates scored a series of high-profile Democratic primary victories in recent weeks, including last week’s victories in New York City and Tuesday’s upset of 15-term Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) by Democratic Socialist candidate Melat Kiros in Colorado, highlighting the movement’s recent electoral momentum.

On that very sour note, we're still standing. But for how much longer? Was the election of President Trump a harbinger or was it merely a speed bump on the road to Hell? And what of the coming of the DSA? Was that a speed bump on our way back on the road to American renewal or is that GOD FORBID a harbinger?

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose and with that I bid you all...

I don't know that padlocking the factory is necessary but a $1M fine plus one year in the pokey - per illegal - would probably cut down on this a bit. Start in the construction and meat packing industries.

14 So a recap of my recent trip to CA. My dad has Parkinson's and when I went out to see him back in January, the decline was obvious. And now, it's even worse. So I'm doing my best to take short trips out there whenever I can.

The only good things are that his disability rating with the VA is now 100% after a LOT of fighting and he and mom live in the kind of place that will take care of him when it gets too bad.

15 Joseph Ellis (historian) had an interesting little piece in WaPo this morning about how the founders were a little confused about the proper day to celebrate the founding. Stuff happened on July 2 and 4… then a lot of them signed the declaration in August and September. The 4th finally won out with that wonderful God-given “coincidence” of Adams and Jefferson both passing on the 4th exactly 50 years later. A fun little piece and then he spoiled it with one last sentence where he took a gratuitous shot at Trump. TDS is an ugly little disease….

Thanks for asking Salty. Mrs. F. was admitted to hospital from the ER yesterday. I thought she had reacted to anesthesia from a minor procedure Tuesday now I am suspecting they infected her with something. No doctor or nurse has called but she called about 8 pm last night.

I really, really hate to be this pessimistic, but Congress isn't going to do squat. A compilation of weak-kneed Republicans who don't want to be seen as rayciss, other Republicans who actually want people from all over the world flooding into America to change its very core, and Democrats...well, Democrats want to destroy the USA.

It's never going to happen if we are hanging our hats on this Congress or any Congress in the future.

one is my family dentist who I do trust just told my adult child they don't need to get their wisdom teeth removed (but they're welcome to). apparently they are all straight at the top ones are fully in. does that make sense??!?! this is eldest bc the other two had them removed early-early when they were "seeds" which was cool because it was easy/mild recovery.

two is we were planning a big family trip around xmas again - it went well last year despite some weather issues getting out of PHL - but Im getting pressure to do Europe instead of the Caribbean. I'm not feeling great about this - busy trip just before xmas? corralling a bunch of people? Europe is a mess right now? just not feeling it. Island so easy. we won't even have a full week bc of everyone's schedules!

In regard to the SSPX, I can't even pretend to understand all the facets of this dispute, but there are other tragedies for us little people:

- Those faithful, loyal souls who want to see the TLM prosper are more likely to be viewed locally as potential schismatics. Those TLM orders in full communion will be regarded suspiciously.

- Anyone curious about the TLM is more likely to be scared off.

- With SSPX confessions no longer valid, that's all the fewer opportunities for people to receive the sacrament. Heaven knows the times for Confession at most diocesan churches are often quite stingy.

We have a "solar blanket" that floats on top of the water. It traps whatever heat's in the water, and when the sun's out, it heats up and transfers that heat to the water. About a couple degrees a day. We had it on back in May and the water temp went from mid-60's to about 78F in two weeks.

It's kind of a hassle to put on and take off, but some people have a spindle mounted that you use to roll in out or up.

Southeast Asian Indians hire more Indians, etc. Diversity becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Mamdani is filling every position in NYC government that he can with more leftist Muslims. He’ll only deal with Kamala to the extent he can use any money, name recognition, or influence she can bring to him. Otherwise, she’s useless to him. She has no fundamental principles other than Kamala, so she is not of Mamdani’s tribe.
