Adopting a zebra.

Raising a baby goat found freezing as a newborn on the coldest night of the year.

A single swan egg was found abandoned in a nest. So a guy hatched it and raised it.

A murmuration of horses.

Miniature baby goats.

Fancy pigeon wears a fur!

And very fancy geese as well!

Niagara Falls, but in winter. It's not as nice.

Lol, no.

It's IPO had a projected TAM of 28.5 TRILLION, with more than 90% of that as the imputed value of AI unicorn farts, not the core business.

Musk is cashing on AI the bubble with a grossly inflated IPO. The business will remain perfectly viable at a drastically reduced stock price, and the speculators will take a haircut.

The stock price is going to drop more before it finds something approaching a realistic price.

We once went an entire Christmas and I did not notice a Hot Wheels red sports car next to the manger til I put it up. It was the kid's nativity scene and I guess they moved the figures around and had Nascar at the same time. Unknown.

Probably the same Christmas they knocked the tree over and gallons of water while I was working 3-11pm. I could always tell their Dad had a rough shift if there was a time out chair facing the wall. This time the tree was held up by wires to the wall.

90 Does feel great to be home in Kansas after coming close to death several times on I-95, I-495, and MD-32. Ego driven, brainless drivers, with steady nerves and cars going way too fast for the maneuvers they made.

Good evening, Salty!

This past week I took a road trip with a friend who picked me up in my home town of Prescott, AZ and we drove to his home in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Along the way, we spent a couple of nights in Hutchinson, KS (my first time in the state) and spent an entire day touring and going to events at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson.

A MUST-SEE for any space program nerd out there! Cheers!

Bill Burr told Shaq white people are dumb because some believe the Earth is flat, but then Shaq said he thinks the Earth is flat too

-
Well, Kansas, sure. I know Shaq didn't become famous by splitting atoms with his mind but he seems like a regular, nice guy.

93 I hate driving on the interstates. Unless I really have to be somewhere quickly, I drive side roads.

The exceptions being I-25 between Casper and Buffalo, and I-90 between Butte and Sheridan.

Hey! I don't drive like that!! (cough)

When ever I visit my family is rural Pennsyltucky, I have to scale back my driving style or I piss off the locals. I have become a bit more aggressive due to living in Babylon DC. Driving Thunderdome basically.

97 The best thing I can say for SPCX stock is that it might be an entry point to get new investors interested in investing.I'm speaking only of the stock, not the company.

Musk has never produced a long-term loser. I think Space X will be profitable in the long term, and now is when I could afford my one single share. I anticipate the success of the Boring Company, also.

Am I wrong in thinking Space X is likely to get government contracts for space exploration? Maybe, I don't know much about that stuff. But it seems like the most successful rocket venture out there.

Don't feel bad. I bought some too. Not much. 5 shares but WTH, I'll just let it ride and see where it goes.

I didn’t buy much either, because I am personally poor. I assumed this would not be what led me to independent wealth.

103 I'm terrible about buying stock. I was told to invest in this hot new company called "Google" because it was really going places, and I bought Cisco instead.
