Secondly, you can apply this logic to a bunch of diferent things. Masculinity for one; which plays voluminously into how Democrats cannot relate to the Masculine voter. They hold the same polarized opinion on Religion, unless it is the "protected religion". They have a similar polarization on generic "competition" (sporting events, capitalism, school grades).

Some houses were decorated with plywood painted bald eagles. There was even one house where they had a cut-out of Uncle Sam flexing which I want for my place, but with both hands flipping the bird.

Overall, I don't see how the war can be viewed as a loss. Even if the MOU is bad (which I do not think it is.)

1. They shot their wad. They can threaten to close the strait, or send missiles, but that no longer holds much threat.

2. The bomb program is off the table and not "under the table" as it was. They planned on using the Nork strategy of "pay us not to build one," cheat, "pay us more now that we have one." We never bombed Nork, but we have made it clear we will bomb Iran again if need be.

3. The world now knows that Iran is not "just like us, reasonable." but they are a thugee state willing to blow up their neighbors, threaten the world, and not people anyone can work with. EVERYONE was in denial about that, but mostly Europe.

4. The world now knows that they need oil and gas, and reserves, and back up plans.

5. SA and Oman will build pipelines around the SoH.

6. China lost its pocket Ace. They were counting on US having to send 2 or 3 carriers to the gulf during any attempt they would make on Taiwan.

7. The Lebanon mess, and all their other proxies are out in the open. For years it was understood but not treated as reality ... (pixy limit)

Before I moved into Old People Warehouse, I flew the flag every day, 24/7. I always had an all-weather flag, so rainy or snowy days didn't matter. Also, it was a porch railing type flag,and my porch light was always on, so I didn't have to worry about a separate flag light, even in the Alaskan winter.

It may sound like a silly example but last Friday I was at a bar watching the US soccer game. It was packed full of people. Sitting right in front of me were two Indians, maybe late 20s early 30s, decked out in American flag gear (shirt, hat, etc) and were wildly cheering for team USA, high fiving everyone and shit.

Did they embrace the constitution and founding fathers? No idea. But they certainly embraced being American. It’s not all negative is what I’m saying.

I started a historical flag collection when my kids were young to teach them history. Everyday I'm flying a different historical flag. I think today is Fort Moultrie. Yesterday was Guilford Courthouse. I really haven't flown flags in years. This is fun.
