European Parliament Votes By Almost 2/3rds Majority, 418 to 218, to Make It Easier to Deport Migrants; Hall Explodes Into Chant of "Send Them Back! Send Them Back!"

The joke leftist newspaper The Guardian is very sad about this, and wants you to know that after the "Send them back!" chant, some shrill voices counter-chanted "shame on you."

Oh no, we've never heard squeaky communists hissing "shame" at us.

Rightwing MEPs have come under fire after they celebrated a vote aimed at increasing deportations across the EU with chants of "send them back", leading other lawmakers to respond with cries of "shame on you".

The heated confrontation in the European parliament came on Wednesday after lawmakers voted 418 to 218 to approve controversial measures aimed at increasing deportations of undocumented people.

A two-thirds majority in what is usually a very left-wing, pro-bureaucrat, pro-Davos body is "controversial."

But opening the borders wasn't controversial, you see.

The overhaul has been widely criticised by rights groups including Amnesty International France, which this week described the plans as "absurd, cruel and discriminatory", and 16 UN experts, who recently outlined more than a dozen ways in which the rules could contravene international human rights.

Wow I'm surprised that "the experts" -- meaning leftwingers who have f***ed and s***ed their way into cushy NGO jobs -- were against this.

One reform now allows countries to make deals with third-party countries to take their "asylum seekers" as their meritless, fraudulent asylum claims are processed. If I recall correctly, Italy just sought such a deal, and made an agreement with Albania to take the "asylees" while they churned through the fraud.

But then the European Union cancelled the deal, claiming it was against the Convention on Human Rights. (Again, if memory serves.)

I assume this reform makes that deal permissible.

The plans include measures under which people could be detained for up to two years or sent to offshore centres that have been described as potential "human rights black holes", while also allowing ICE-style immigration enforcement to gain a foothold in Europe.

LOL.

The reform also allows governments to detain "migrants" for longer. They can be detained, IIRC, for two months without cause, and for an unlimited period if they're a security threat.

If anyone says "but that's holding them without trial" -- well, they're always free to leave the country.

...

The far right's celebration of the vote was swiftly condemned. Javi López, a Socialist and vice-president of the European parliament, described the plenary session as "disgraceful". Writing on social media, he added: "As if people were parcels. Families. Minors. Deported to third countries. This is the Europe they are imposing."

Oh, Javi Lopez wouldn't be a socialist from Spain, by any chance, would he?

The leftwing Spanish government granted residency to lots of illegal aliens, in order to replace the native Spanish population. They said this mass amnesty would apply to 500,000 aliens, so don't even worry about it, mate.

Surprise! They lied. It's up to a million and counting.

Those experts, they just never get things right, do they?

Maybe they're not really experts at all.

Spain's government has received around 900,000 applications from undocumented migrants seeking legal status under a programme that initially expected half a million requests, the Migration Ministry said on Monday.

...

Non-profit refugee aid organisation CEAR expects applications to exceed one million by the time the programme ends in two weeks.

"We expect to conclude this session of oral sex without coming in your mouth," the experts said, nutting.

And those third countries are happy to take a stipend and then lose the deportees in the gutters of the cities.

Honestly, the third world's corruption is just being turned against them now.

They can end up dead in a gutter in Djibouti, or they can go back to Syria (which is no longer in a civil war) on their own terms. It's up to them.

Somebody once had an idea to deport "the undesirables", then found a less costly solution.

I'd foot the expense to just send these ones back, somewhere.
Once they get one foot on dry land "somewhere" the rest is their problem.

You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

And yet, they are hiding that fact because it worse for them than the fact that the officers stood there and laughed as he bled out and died.

Meaning, the number of non-citizens in public housing or on assistance in the UK has to be over 80%.

No one lives in an average place.

Brussels I believe is 50% Muslim under 50.
And Brussels has an outsized effect on the country.

Whole regions of France are over 20% Muslim. A large enough "minority" (if behaving/voting essentially as a block) to have enormous, outsize influence on the country as a whole and to dominate their regions culturally.

Georgia of the 2020s is not your father’s Georgia. Atlanta is deeeeeep blue. The suburbs once reliable red (think Newt Gingrich district) are not at best purple and trending blue.

There aren’t enough rural and exurban votes to make up for Atlanta. It’s like every other state where one dominant city crushes the rest of the state. Washington/Seattle, Colorado/Denver, etc.

Even in the 2000s you could see the writing on the wall. McCain only won Georgia by 5 points vs Obama.

I've apportioned 16 GB of memory in the past to a well-apportioned Win 11 Pro VM, and it ran fine, no hiccups or BSODs.

So you could probably get away with just 32GB system memory.

Currently, I apportion about 55 GB of memory to the well-apportioned Win 11 Pro VM, just because I have it. So even with mad levels of Windows VM memory, 64GB would be overkill.

That, said, I don't currently do a lot of heavy video editing, and none on Windows. That may affect your calculations.

And then, DEI became a thing within the corporate bones and other facets of society...and it became clear. The "progressives" (actually "regressives") are the footsoldiers of the Elitists without even knowing it. The Elitists first targetted the institutions (education mostly) to shape the soldiers who would work on their behalf without knowing that everytime they scream (tax the rich, destroy the rich), they are laughingly chastising their mentors.
