John Bolton Reaches Deal to Plead Guilty to Mishandling Classified Documents

But wait I thought Trump was "weaponizing the DOJ to punish his enemies"?

No?

Or is it more like, as Bolton said many times, "No one is above the law"?

President Donald Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton is expected to plead guilty over mishandling classified documents, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News Thursday.

Bolton could not immediately be reached for comment. The Department of Justice is declining to comment.

Bolton is expected to plead guilty to one count of illegal retention of sensitive documents, sources familiar with the matter said. Sources told ABC News that Bolton has also agreed to pay a fine of more than $2 million.

There is a rearraignment scheduled for June 26, which indicates it's intended for Bolton to plead guilty.

The guilty plea would make Bolton thus far the only successful case that we've seen so far in Trump's campaign of retribution against those he perceives to be his political enemies.

This is the Disney Groomer Corporation's Fake News service, ABC, by the way.

Hello! Happy Thursday!

64 Democrats and their frenz, like this douche used the justice system and government to prosecute, jail and sentence people in novel and unusual ways. They were able to do that because evidence of the truth was suppressed and hidden in collaboration with federal agencies and prosecutors. It also involved the media, who wouldn’t know the truth if it crawled up their asses and winked at them in the mirror.

In other words, a conspiracy was formed to accuse, charge, try and sentence people who were innocent, but political opponents of Democrats. It was underwritten by a Stalinist Media.

This is demonstrable and I challenge anyone to truthfully prove otherwise.

What this president and his administration has done thus far is to charge people who are guilty of actual crimes, that can be proven in a normal court of law. They are neither novel, nor political. They are criminal. Porn Stash Man just proved it.

That is the difference between Democrats kangaroo court and justice system used as a punitive weapon against the people, as opposed to a Republican court of law and a neutral justice system, fags.

135 Compare this to Biden, who did the exactly the same thing but on a much more voluminous basis. And, they let him off the hook because he's an old man, and they didn't think he had criminal "intent."

Same with Hillary Clinton. They refused to prosecute because of lack of criminal "intent."

So, prosecuting (via a plea deal) of Bolton suggest he DID have criminal "intent". Therefore, that should have opened the door to many more potential felonies.

And, the kicker is that you do NOT have to show criminal "intent" in the mishandling of confidential files in order to prosecute the violation as has been done with many others not connected or in the public spotlight.

"The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir is a memoir by John Bolton, who served as National Security Advisor for U.S. President Donald Trump from April 2018 to September 2019.[2][3] Bolton was reportedly paid an advance of $2 million by the publisher.[4]"

Posted by: Nova Local at June 04, 2026 12:18 PM (tOcjL)

One of the funnier aspects of Bolton's book is that there was a huge hullabaloo about Trump calling veterans 'suckers and losers'. Trump is still catching heck for supposedly making that statement. The thing is, Bolton was actually on the plane at the very time that Trump supposedly made that quote. You'd think that if Bolton heard that, it would not only have made his book but that he would have been the first to corroborate Jeffrey Goldberg's libelous accusation. The one that John Kelly supposedly heard.

To his credit, I believe that Bolton said he heard nothing of the sort from Trump.

Looked it up.

Apparently, I said that the whole Iran action would be done by May.

I don't remember that prediction.

I have said consistently that by late summer no one will remember the oil shock because prices will return to normal, though. Well, no one except the US shale oil producers as they look on their new European sports cars procured in the previous few months.

Delay the final reckoning if nothing else. If I was the defense, I would have two strategies: (i) fill the jury with as many leftwing bleeding hearts as possible, which would include whites, and (ii) blow the thing up, hoping to persuade at least one juror and/or the judge.

Although the jury is all white, I don't think we know the sexes or backgrounds.

I doubt he's going to get the 12 Angry Men situation where one guy spins a tale during deliberation that convinces the other 11 that the defendant is not guilty.

It just seems like a recipe for the family to spend another few hundred thousand dollars on donations on another trial.

True.

But the oil journey is reminiscent of 2022, isn't it?

Massive disruption because of a new conflict. Huge increase in oil prices. No real fix in the region, but oil markets...found a way. All while Biden was still strangling US energy where it could.

That was 4 years ago, and Trump's admin is far more energy friendly than Biden's.

I look at this as payback for the Rodney King trial where after the police officers were found 'not guilty' at the local level the feds came in and retried them for the same incident using the same evidence but for 'civil rights' vs assault or whatever. Always felt like double-jeopardy to me.

There should be one trial one time period. Not everybody gets a different bite at the apple which never falls far from the tree.,,,

How do ya like them apples...?
