Adam Hamawy, a controversial candidate who previously volunteered with an al-Qaeda-linked group, has won the Democrat primary for retiring Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman’s (D-NJ) seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Hamawy, who was endorsed by the so-called “Squad,” became a lightning rod for criticism on the campaign trail due to his intense criticism of Israel and his having volunteered with the Benevolence International Foundation in Bosnia, per the New York Post: An Iraq War veteran, Hamawy has made national headlines for saving Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s (D-Ill) life after a helicopter crash as well as for his volunteer work in the Gaza Strip. How "controversial" could he have been and still come out on top let alone even be a candidate? Yes New Jersey, especially the bedroom communities/counties near NYC are leftist dominated with growing populations of Muslims from some of the worst Islamic hellholes on earth. The "Squad" are also not really outliers but represent more and more the majority of the Democrat base and ultimately are going to supplant the old guard allegedly "moderate" "liberal" leadership, bth those words in quotation marks for obvious reasons since Democrats are neither moderate nor liberal. Great he rescued Tammy Duckworth. This is kind of like Otto Skorzeny rescuing Mussolini. Be that as it may, the Democrat/Leftist party and movement is at war and has always been at war with Americans and America as founded. Unless and until the hatred of this nation its people history and heritage are utterly burned out of that Party's black heart, we'll never know a moment's peace. It's us or them and it's high time we realize it. Of course there are those allegedly on our side who won't and never will, and worse, will aid and abet in our destruction: . . . the American conservatives whom Mike Pence is urging to take the high road can’t afford to pretend that doing so will ensure victory. We are not facing political opponents who can be lectured into behaving more civilly. The late Freedom Center founder David Horowitz warned decades ago that we are at war with an enemy determined not to seek coexistence with us but to destroy us. Today’s Democrats call for and celebrate our murder, for God’s sake. They certainly won’t be shamed into cleaning up their language. Pence writes that civility “is how we can find principled common ground in America.” This is a beautiful dream, but the reality is that Left and Right today have no common ground – none. There is literally no political issue – abortion, immigration, race, crime, education, the family, poverty, homelessness, national security, national sovereignty, the environment, foreign policy, religion – on which there is not a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between both sides. Even if there were a patch of common ground somewhere, the Left is not interested in tilling that soil, but craves total power. The idea that Republicans and Democrats can reach across the aisle and come together even in a grudging mutual respect is, sadly, a fantasy.Yeah, about that civility: There are judicial rulings that raise complex legal questions, and there are rulings that expose a deeper rot. Judge Leonie Brinkema’s decision to block the Justice Department’s Anti-Weaponization Fund belongs firmly in the latter category. What occurred here transcends a routine dispute over government spending — it is a profound assertion of judicial overreach. .. The Anti-Weaponization Fund was established as part of a settlement in President Trump’s lawsuit against the government regarding the unlawful disclosure of his tax information. The fund creates a pathway for individuals who believe they have been harmed by government weaponization or politically motivated “lawfare” to seek compensation. Predictably, this objective has drawn fierce opposition from the very circles that spent years insisting such weaponization either did not exist or was entirely justified. Their opposition tells its own story.Mike Pence hasn't uttered a sound about this: rioter was charged Friday “for allegedly kicking and biting ICE officers” at a New Jersey illegal immigrant holding center on Thursday, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said on X. Another individual was arrested after threatening to murder an immigration officer and his family, Blanche said Friday. The Department of Homeland Security arrested at least six rioters last Wednesday alone for allegedly assaulting law enforcement, while others were arrested in the subsequent days, ABC 6 reported. The attacks took place outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in New Jersey called Delaney Hall. Fox News reported that “agitators…were seen establishing a highly organized logistics and support operation before protests began at the site. Stockpiles of masks, duct tape, hard hats and medical supplies were laid out near the facility.”If we really want civility, we'll get it in a nanosecond once we have summary executions of rioters. Until then Ponce Pence can shove civility where the sun don't shine. Have a great day.

While we have all been affected by recent events, I know from my own family that the pain of losing a loved one is profound. Racism has no place in our society. An approval of the fund would mean that people in Congress on both sides of the aisle would have to admit that there was a need for the fund, that the Biden administration and to a large extent the Obama administration was weaponized against Trump and his supporters. The local Fox outlet mentioned that Antoinette Frank, the former NOPD cop convicted and sentenced to death for the murders of a Vietnamese shopkeeper and his wife -- in 1995! -- is still on Death Row. Her lawyer has been filing one motion after another and managing to keep her breathing oxygen for three decades.
The TV series Homicide: Life on the Street had an episode in the late '90s based on this case. The script finished with a macabre detail: That her father had not been seen for two years . . . and under her house investigators found human bones. That same detail was reported in the actual Frank case. Wiki: "A month after she was sentenced to death, police found a human skull with a bullet hole buried under Frank's house." California’s ‘Wealth’ Tax is Coming for Everyone
You know what would be a good idea? Let's rejigger the tax code to take more people off the tax rolls. People with no responsibility to pay taxes would never be willing to raise taxes on others to ridiculous levels... they would never be ambivalent about waste and fraud... they would be good stewards of public policy. And we can slowly add them back to the tax rolls later. This proposal in Cali is why the tax code should start at dollar 1 and be absolutely flat. Liberals...it is not too late to join us on here on the left. YES. We want all Americans to have free healthcare. YES. We want NO MORE funding to Israel. YES. We want education reform. I love how all the liberals and Democrats were freaking out after Hamawy took the lead. Their media was describing him as 'alleged plastic surgeon from Rutgers' when he is one of the famous doctors in the country. Saved a US senators life in Iraq, served as a national guard for 8 years, helped during the Bosnian war, Syrian civil war, Haiti's 2010 earthquake, treated first responders on 9/11, did life saving work in Gaza...That's an insane resume. Even though I expected this, I'm still so happy! Yay! I get to be represented by an unapologetic progressive! This was a crazy interesting race to watch as the vote came in. Every other serious candidate was highly regional, but Hamaway was pulling 2nd place with mid-twenties basically everywhere. >>I mean I love Trump, but he has clearly stepped on his dick with this Iranian Adventure.
Completely disagree. Iran launched a few missiles, all of which were shot down. In return the US hit Iranian missile launch sites and other targets. It's beyond obvious and has been for weeks that Trump can completely obliterate Iran if he chooses but has decided it would be better in the long run not to completely destroy Iran and turn it into the next Iraq or Libya. So he has chosen the path of grinding them down and forcing them to accept a deal on his terms. Trump is looking down the road at a stable Middle East that relies on commerce between the members to keep the peace. Business partners have a strong incentive not to fight. So it takes a bit longer to get a deal. Iraq is still broken more than a decade later. Libya is still broken. Both still house terrorists. What is everyone's huge rush? Iran has been a problem for 47 years and for most of that time Trump was speaking about the need to deal with Iran. Let me do his thing. He has a pretty damn good track record. "US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Iran has agreed to not have a nuclear weapon, as he revealed he will 'probably meet with Iran's Ayatollah at some point... 'They've already agreed they're not going to have a nuclear weapon,' Trump said, adding that Tehran could still 'change their mind.' 'I did have to say we have to do something about Iran, because regardless of how well we're doing [economically] we can't let them have a nuclear weapon,' he said. 'I mean, now they can change their mind, but that was one of the things they've had to agree, they've agreed to that. That was the big thing,' he added. He also said that the US does not 'need boots on the ground now.' " Well! Let's pop the champagne and celebrate! "but," you say, "how can you know?" Because that level of tribalism they exhibited in protecting the killer only comes from insulation from integration into Western society. Would you grant that Trump and his team including the military, CIA, etc., are well aware of the need to open the Strait completely and also know a hell of a lot more about the on the ground situation than we do? That seems pretty obvious to me. I would also wager that nobody wants this over with more than Trump. He is a pretty smart guy and he understands the ramifications of a closed Strait including in political terms. I don't agree at all that Iran has concluded anything of the sort seeing as how they aren't getting their oil money either and are losing something on the order of $500 million/day. In fact, I would assume they are wondering how the hell they keep their country from imploding without money. Trump is showing he does in fact have patience. See Ace’s comment in the sidebar; he’s not fooled. And come on; saying that it’s just fine for Iran to attack our allies infrastructure because “who cares?” Is pathetic. That’s the fast track to getting kicked out of the region and convincing everyone that Iran is now in charge. Mike Pence lied to Trump--right to his face--and told him that Flynn had been talking with the Russians.
That Trump must fire Flynn. Trump trusted Pence and fired Flynn. Pence not only lied there but furthered the lie by preventing Trump from learning what Flynn had said or done. Because that was all now evidence against Trump once Trump fired him. That all then triggered the Russian Hoax, Sessions recusal and the whole impeachment that tied up Trump for the next 3 years. Because Mike Pence is a liar then and now and a liar forever. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at June 03, 2026 08:51 AM (73/SM) 265

Are the ballistic missiles being used, in small numbers, being replaced by the Iranian logistics chain? Are their missiles depleting in numbers? We can shrug off or shoot down a small salvo. Have I got it all correct? In any event, Trump will eventually get what he wants, because he has made his intentions clear. Congratulations to Zach Lahn on his victory! He will be a great Governor for all Iowans.
Iowa had quite a few Republicans running in the primary for governor. Not sure who will be best in office, and if that's also who will be best running against Sand, but Lahn seems like the Trump-type model (or maybe more Spencer Pratt): a successful businessman and normal American (farmer), outsider to politics, running on a platform of normalcy and returning to fundamental American values. I received an email about 20 years ago telling me NASA would no longer track this item as Government Property. It was mine as of the email date. I was told to remove "Property of U. Battle Ground seem like a good place to live. You have Washington's lack of an income tax and nearby Oregon's lack of a sales tax.

I don't think any of these msm journos will be able to hack it as a podcaster. Their only skill is reading what people put on a screen, and they have none of the work ethic necessary for a podcast - everyone does everything for them while they sit there looking dumb.
They probably don't even know what equipment to purchase. All the actual work is going to have to be done by their production team, writers, etc. The end result will be a lower-budget copy of the shitty product that everybody already abandoned years ago. Posted by: Jaimo at June 03, 2026 09:30 AM (BCuCF) ~~~~~ Just checked the map for NJ-12th and it is heavily gerrymandered and includes Trenton and a couple of the Brunswicks, so that explains it, I guess. But the 12th is bordered on both the north and south by republican districts. A fair amount of NJ is republican. Posted by: IrishEi ?! at June 03, 2026 09:39 AM (3ImbR) 433

I know Iran is claiming this to be the case and I'm sure Trump and his team are aware but I am also confident they have so much intel on what is happening a mouse doesn't fart in Tehran these days without them knowing about it too. Perhaps Trump is allowing China to get some oil as part of his negotiations with them which are endless. But I 100% doubt what's left of the mullahs is sneaking a significant amout of oil out of the country without Trump's knowledge but the WSJ cracked the story from a desk in NYC. Good morning, all, and thanks, J.J.
From above, Pence writes that civility “is how we can find principled common ground in America.” Also, the Anti-Weaponization Fund "established as part of a settlement in President Trump’s lawsuit against the government ...creates a pathway for individuals who believe they have been harmed by government weaponization or politically motivated “lawfare” to seek compensation" blocked. That's one hell of a coincidence. About five years after January 6th, and all of its political & personal repercussions, Pence is rolled out again to push back on U.S. citizens who had likely voted for him, too, in both 2016 & 2020. (AI Overview, for simplicity): During the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot, then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence held a series of secure phone calls. The two political adversaries bypassed inaction by collaborating to ensure the safety of lawmakers and resume the certification of the presidential election. The raw audio and video of the behind-the-scenes calls were captured by documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi (the Speaker's daughter) and later aired publicly by the House Select. Federal authorities charged 1,583 individuals across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. for their involvement in the January 6 U.S. Capitol Attack. The resulting investigation became the largest criminal probe in U.S. history.
While over 1,000 defendants pleaded guilty to or were found guilty at trial for various federal crimes, none were charged with the formal crime of insurrection. Legal experts noted that the DOJ avoided these charges because they did not want to risk losing cases if they could not prove a "rock-solid" intent to launch a rebellion, rather than just participating in a violent, disorganized riot. OTW, unprovable from the start but oh, how they tried. In April 2023, Pence spent hours testifying before a federal grand jury investigating the January 6th Capitol attack and efforts to overturn the 2020 election. However, President Donald Trump issued sweeping pardons and commutations for January 6 defendants on January 20, 2025, during his first day in office for his second term, and with J.D. Vance as V.P. So advice from a politician with almost 'Jimmy Carter's Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at June 03, 2026 10:13 AM (NFX2v) 438
