Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Primary Results ThreadIn New York, "Designated Liar" Congressman Dan Goldman is almost certainly getting booted by the Mamdani-supported, non-Jewish candidate Brad Lander. For some reason, the "Anti-Nazi Party" is purging all Jews. Not sure why! Who could possibly guess the reason! Goldman is currently polling 34 points behind Lander so he's as good as gone. But Goldman's flacks say the poll is very inaccurate and assumes a big communist turn-out. Which seems like a pretty safe assumption to me. I will personally celebrate when this filthy degenerate is back at his old job, living off the Levi's fortune as a do-nothing Daddy Got Me trust fund c***. WPIX is tabulating results here. Another big race: In New Jersey, the Blind Sheikh's lawyer and character witness, and member of an Al Qaeda front group, and the man who claimed there were no tunnels under the hospital he worked at (despite a Hamas commander being killed in those tunnels, will probably win.Democrats also have a big primary in the solidly blue 12th District, where Democratic Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman is retiring. A whopping 13 candidates are on the ballot. The frontrunner is plastic surgeon Adam Hamawy, a progressive former Army physician who saved the life of now-Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois in Iraq (she's endorsed him). He leads the field with $1.0 million raised and has benefited from $1.6 million in outside support from American Priorities, a super PAC that supports progressive Democrats who are critical of Israel. Still, the Egyptian-born Hamawy has attracted scrutiny over some connections from his past. This includes volunteering for a medical association in Bosnia in the mid-1990s that later was found to have ties to Al-Qaida, and a relationship with Omar Abdel-Rahman, known as "The Blind Sheikh," who was convicted for his role in the 1993 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. I don't think I'll be posting much so check in with Ed Morrissey for more coverage. In California, of course, we'll see the primaries for LA mayor and CA governor. The current top three candidates for governor are Obama/Biden corrupt non-entity Xavier Bercera, Republican Steve Hilton (that British populist who used to appear on Fox News), and evil billionaire lunatic Tom Steyr. I sure hope that Republican sheriff Chad Bianco can pull head so we can have two Republicans in the general, but I doubt it. In the mayor's race, polling has it Basura first, Pratt second, and Nithya Raman third. Pratt has to hold on to second to make it to the general, and we also don't want Basura to get more than 50% of the "votes," because then she wins the contest without having to go the general. Decision Desk's twitter account. Update: You're not going to believe this, but another Zohran Mamdani-endorsed congressional candidate turns out to be a communist. CNN:

This seems like a good place for "Orson's Time Traveling Theory".
Theory: We keep hearing the rationalization that no one will ever be able to time travel, because surely we would have stumbled across a time traveler from the future by now (and let's leave physics out of this. I know it is supposed that time travel can only be to the future, and not the past). So, my theory is that you can witness time travelers in real time at any major event if you are observant and look for them specifically. Human nature is to pick out a spectacle to view. However, during such an event, the last thing on your mind is looking for such travelers. Ignore the two planes hitting the tower and watch that guy over on the street corner with the weird hat and bellbottoms (future quartermasters suck). Ignore the wave of molasses and pay attention to the guy that with the little row boat on Charter Str. holding a pancake in his hand. Posted by: Orson at June 02, 2026 07:57 PM (dIske) 40

In my case and my area, there is a massive spike in batshit crazy behavior, horrible THC intoxicated driving, and synthetic THC drugs sold over the counter as 'hemp'. Police have given up enforcing laws against it as 'hemp' was legalized and promptly the TBD laced became THC laced instead. I also have seen and known artisans that cannot hire young people without them having serious issues with gas station heroin, gummy THCs, etc. And I think it is spurring murders, etc. This is not the dope of yore with low THC levels but really powerful stuff being sold either natural via plant breeding or synthetic. 7-OH (formally known as 7-hydroxymitragynine) is a chemical compound that naturally occurs in low levels in the kratom plant. Isolated or concentrated forms of 7-OH – such as those found in tablets, capsules, shots and liquid extracts – present significant risks. Concentrated forms of 7-OH are 13 times more potent than morphine, according to the FDA, and may lead to seizures, substance abuse disorder, withdrawal, overdose, and even death. 7-OH products are often falsely marketed as natural kratom, though they contain enhanced levels of lab-created or synthesized substances. These products are engineered to be addictive, and they are often designed to look like everyday candies, gummies, and even ice cream cones in an attempt to appeal to teens and young adults. And are responsible for the bulk of emergency room THC poisoning cases, Like in Colorado, "Emergency room visits for marijuana-related issues rose three-fold between 2012 and 2016, with edibles causing disproportionate adverse reactions despite comprising less than 1% of total THC sales." Thanks for the Chinese insights, morons. The essential takeaway: the Red Guard did not implode or get buried by a counter-revolution of people disaffected by it. It was simply overtaken by another power struggle, events, etc. Which means our growing commie tumor will probably not be undone by the sheer misery it wreaks, but by yet another lefty faction. No. I have not had one. I have an addictive personality, but I always husbanded the percocet they gave me like diamonds, only using them when I absolutely had to- because I did not want to have a situation where I had one and had used them all.
Posted by: Aetius451AD work phone at June 02, 2026 08:49 PM (zZu0s) Kratom won’t touch Percocet. By the time you downed enough kratom to match a Percocet you’d be passed out on the floor before any pain relief hit you. I wouldn’t worry about trying kratom in that case. CA Post is reporting that libs are strategizing to split their votes - Becerra is almost guaranteed to win so the other libs are voting for Steyer to give the Dems the top 2 slots and lock out Hilton.
Posted by: beckster at June 02, 2026 08:07 PM (kX27y) I saw some flake pseudo influencer touting that...whether voters actually do it remains to be seen. Posted by: Oldcat at June 02, 2026 08:59 PM (8avO+) 169

Posted by: SpeakingOf at June 02, 2026 08:58 PM (6ydKt) Good to know. Side note: when I had a kidney stone, percocet did not really 'work' per se. They just made the pain manageable and distant. That is what was so insane about the cocktail they gave me that time. The pain disappeared. Nearly instantly. Just gone. Not distant. It was good shit. I literally passed out after only a short breath from screaming for about 6 hours (tried to wait it out.)
Posted by: Aetius451AD ====== During my various surgeries and accidents, I am well acquainted with opiods. Frankly I don't care for them. I take them as prescribed and finish the prescription and don't get a second one. For things like knee surgery and the immediate need for rehab, they are a necessary evil but I don't like feeling like I don't care whether I am alive or dead. I got Dilaudid after crushing my knee cap in a fall from the ER. Don't care for it, makes me nauseous. Had morphine drips in hospital for knee surgery, don't care for it, destroys my personality into a flat affect, had oxycontin, gives me an excruciating headache and nausea. Told docs I was allergic to it. Substitued vicodin, slight relief, but you cannot think on it and it last just enough during sleep that you wake up after 4-5 hours in pain. Had fentanyl for recent spinal surgery, arm and elbow surgeries, etc. It eliminates pain but also thought. So, outside of actual surgery, I find painkillers as a drag--they give you constipation, they cloud your mind, etc. Posted by: whig at June 02, 2026 09:05 PM (E4rtv) 171

Posted by: Blonde Morticia The thing is that these Red Guard did not, when grown up, go back to their youth days, because in fact they just wanted to make money by that point like good capitalists did. Our Red Guard today are already wealthy and yet pine to make us all poor. Wealthy people cosplaying as revolutionaries to give their wretched lives some meaning. Posted by: Aetius451AD Acute pain like kidney stones need treatment. But taking them for chronic pain is like putting a gun to your head and pulling the trigger. I have chronic pain due to arthritic damage from inflammatory arthritis. Major joints are deteriorated, nerves got pinched by bone spurring, etc. My conclusion is better to just live with it and use heat, ice, stretching, pt, movement, and sleep as best as you can. Beats whatever the chemists cook up in the long run plus much less side effects. Posted by: whig at June 02, 2026 09:12 PM (E4rtv) 174

Posted by: whig at June 02, 2026 09:05 PM (E4rtv) You know it’s bad when pharma co.’s have to come up with a specific drug to counteract the constipation caused by another drug. I don’t know how heroin junkies do it. Posted by: SpeakingOf at June 02, 2026 09:13 PM (6ydKt) 175

Posted by: whig at June 02, 2026 09:05 PM (E4rtv) I'm with you whig. I'm weaning off oxycodone after almost 5 years on it, after multiple back surgeries during that time. I hate it with a passion and have been off for 2 weeks now. The pain is still there but I'd almost rather deal with that than the side-effects of the drug. My biggest regret is getting the surgeries. I think they actually made me worse. Posted by: Chairborne!...Desk From Above! at June 02, 2026 09:15 PM (CNncw) 176
I sure hope that Republican sheriff Chad Bianco can pull head so we can have two Republicans in the general, but I doubt it.
We have an f'n jungle primary...better to have only ONE Rep to support for Gov, lest we end up with two dems running for it...like what happened with the US Senator not too many years ago. Posted by: jim (in Kalifornia) at June 02, 2026 09:17 PM (l3cgK) 177

Posted by: jim (in Kalifornia) at June 02, 2026 09:17 PM (l3cgK) Jungle primaries should be outlawed. You could explain calculus easier than you can explain how a jungle primary works. And that's why the filthy communist animal Democrats use it. because the more complicated something is the easier to exploit it and cheat. Actually, I'd also outlaw the Democrat Party while we're at it. Posted by: Chairborne!...Desk From Above! at June 02, 2026 09:20 PM (CNncw) 179
