Toxic Incompetent Radical Leftwing Propagandists Are Finally S-Canned at 60 Minutes, and the Left is (You'll Never Guess!) Hysterical

Stephen L. Miller
@redsteeze

2h

60 Minutes was genocided.

Lunatic Trash-Karen Sharyl Alfonsi threw her last hissy-fit over Bari Weiss holding up her hit-piece about CECOT to get comment from the object of her hit-piece -- the Trump Administration, of course -- and then publicly complained about her employers. (And probably did some leaking, but we'll just have to guess about that.)

One of her previous acts of Democrat Party Service was attacking Ron DeSantis for arranging a deal for the Magic Vaccine, which the media claimed was absolutely necessary for the survival of the species, to be made available through the large market chain Publix.

She asserted that DeSantis had made this deal in exchange for a $100,000 donation -- and would not take Democrats' word for it that they pitched and negotiated this deal with Publix themselves.

And ergo, the $100,000 donation was irrelevant.

Meanwhile, this ugly crone is claiming she was fired for her "honest" journalism.

Shipwreckedcrew
@shipwreckedcrew

3h

"Honest" -- like in her dishonest piece about Ron DeSantis and the Publix Supermarket chain, linking Publix being given a COVID vaccine contract in exchange for a $100,000 contribution to DeSantis?

Deceptive Editing: Alfonsi confronted Gov. about the Publix deal, but 60 Minutes edited his response by omitting the portion of his answer explaining that CVS and Walgreens were tied up administering vaccines in long-term care facilities at the time, and that Publix was simply the first pharmacy to volunteer and prove it was ready for the larger roll-out needed.

Florida's emergency management director -- a Democrat -- publicly stated that the decision to use Publix was made by his office, not the Governor, and that undermined entirely the conspiracy narrative that was the foundation of the 60 Minutes story.

Other Democrats in Florida and Publix pushed back against the story.

But that didn't slow Alfonsi or 60 Minutes down since De Santis was, at that time, considered to be the frontrunner for the GOP POTUS nomination in 2024.

"In a Sunday night tweet directed at "60 Minutes," Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz wrote, "I said this before and I'll say it again. [Publix] was recommended by [Florida Division of Emergency Management] and [Florida Department of Public Health]. Period! Full stop!"

"No one from the Governors office suggested Publix," Moskowitz added. "It's just absolute malarkey."

Is it that kind of "honest" journalism you are referring to??

A Democrat mayor of Palm Beach alled the story "intentionally false" as well, saying this wasn't just "bad information," it was a deliberate, calculated lie:

60minutessstatement.jpg

But she had a potential Republican presidential candidate to take down for her Democrat masters, and went forward with the false, defamatory propaganda anyway.

And for some reason, Bari Weiss had doubts about her credibility, honesty, and professionalism!

Here's her meltdown over being fired -- or, actually, these people aren't employees, so they're not fired.

Their contracts are just allowed to blissfully expire without renewal.

Dylan Byers
@DylanByers

May 27

NEW: Sharyn Alfonsi goes scorched earth on Bari Weiss:

"Over the weekend, my contract with CBS News expired, drawing to a close nearly twenty years with the network, including more than a decade at 60 Minutes.

Following an intense editorial dispute over our CECOT story, repeated attempts by my representation to establish a path forward were met with absolute silence from network executives. The message could not be clearer: my time at 60 Minutes is apparently over.

In the coming days, network leadership may attempt to hide behind corporate euphemisms like "modernization" and "restructuring" to explain away my departure. Don't be misled. This was not a routine corporate transition; it was a deliberate choice to penalize a journalist for refusing to sanitize factually accurate reporting, and it sends a chilling message to the entire newsroom.

Well, they're resorting to euphemisms because they consider in unprofessional to just tell the truth about you: You're a batshit crazy partisan who is too unattractive and probably has too checkered a past to go directly into Democrat politics so you work from the shadows in the media.

How's that? Is that better than the euphemism?

Weiss also let go of a 60 Minutes producer, and replaced him with Nick Bilton.

The media are screaming that he has no prior television journalistic experience even though he's been an investigative journalist at the NYT and Vanity Fair.

And they're screaming for simple turf-protection reasons: They have a guild and they don't want non-guild-members replacing them so that they lose their phoney-baloney jobs.

I've got five words for you: Learn to fucking code, bitches.

Losing the Leftwing lunatic demographic is no great loss. A reasonable, sane, balanced approach could make the platform & program viable. Maybe. The alternative is certain extinction, from a ratings and revenue standpoint.

80 Ace, maybe that was the baby crow learning (learing) your place to spread the word.

Our spring festive finch egg story ended in a tragedy of hideousness as apparently, per my dude, finches are trial by death and error as young parents. It takes a few times for them to figure it all out. Our new parents basically starved their babies and it was disgusting. This was after videos to grands of the spring wonder of nature and birds feeding babies.

Husband threw the dead birds, nest and plant into the garbage before we left town. The story is to tell the grands (if they remember to ask) that the birdies flew off and his camera did not work at the time.

He's still watching eagle chicks on youtube. Probably wants an eagle family of our own now vs the murder finches. The mother finch seemed retarded after seeming good for two weeks.

I just stumbled on something I didn't know existed. Today and tomorrow are "Manhattanhenge". Because of NYC's (mostly) rectangular street grid, and the ~30 degree offset to North, sunset will align with the cross streets.

After the solstice, it will happen again around July 11.

ANd likewise, looking in the other direction, sunrise will align around the winter solstice.

104 Anderson Cooper's Striking "60 Minutes" Signoff Apparently Made CBS News's Editor-In-Chief Bari Weiss Furious As She Wasn't Given Advance Notice & Effectively Blindsided By Those Remarks. She Also Kept Privately Expressing Frustrations To Associates About Way She's Covered & Scrutinized By Media.

Don't want to be called a propagandist hack don't be a propagandist hack. Pretty simple.

Didn’t 60 minutes get sued for being a political hack when they aired a heavily doctored interview with Kamala Harris? Nm just looked it up, they settled out of court for 16M

It was typical TV editing for these types of interviews, not the sanewashing they do for Trump.

Weiss is getting the coverage she deserves. She’s destroying brand and business value to an incalculable degree.

Freedom of speech is very important to me and should be to you. When CBS censors comedians like Colbert and 60 Minutes journalists like Sharyn Alfonsi, not interested in supporting them in any way. We’ll see what happens if the merger goes through. For now, I will not support them.

Isn't the scuttlebutt that she's running for Schumer's seat? That would be an interesting fight. She's dumb, but her handlers have to know the Presidency is a losing option for her in 2028.

203 The Big Combo, the intriguing 1955 noir with Cornel Wilde and Richard Conte, is on Movies! now. It features an early role for Lee Van Cleef and Earl Holliman as two of Conte's gunmen. It's implied, rather subtly, that the two thugs are gay: They clearly live together and sleep in the same room, and when one is killed, the other is badly upset as if by the loss of a wife or child. Kind of startling for a 1955 movie.
