Gay Weirdo James Talarico: All of Those "Cringey" Things I Said In the Past Few Years Are Either Completely True or Completely Out of Context

Via Twitchy, the Daily Wire reports that this Totally Real Authentic Bible-Believing Christian attends a church whose library contains gay groomer books.

The Texas church where Democrat James Talarico has delivered his radical sermons is pushing radical gender ideology on children, featuring books filled with sexually explicit content and transgender ideology.

Talarico, the Democrat nominee for the crucial Senate election in November, attends St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Austin. There, children have access to a library stocked with "banned books" that promote ideas rejected by most Christians, including books that contain descriptions of anal rape, incest, and oral sex, according to a Daily Wire review of its offerings.

Books found in the St. Andrew's catalog include the book "Gender Queer," which includes illustrations of oral sex and masturbation, and the book "All Boys Aren't Blue," which discusses anal rape and incest.

"This Book Is Gay," has a chapter on the "ins and outs of gay sex," while the book "Becoming Nicole" tells the story of a gender-confused teen boy who identifies as girl with the support of his family. In "The Courage to Be Queer," the author claims that "God is queer."

Other books in the church catalog include "This Book is Gay," "Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth," "Called OUT: The Voices and Gifts of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered Presbyterians," "The Courage to Be Queer," and "Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family."

Talarico, looking to flip a Senate seat in a state President Donald Trump won by 14 points in 2024, has faced criticism over comments he made on transgender ideology. It will likely be a central theme in the campaign against him -- in his first speech as the official Republican nominee on Tuesday night, Republican Ken Paxton referred to Talarico as both "Six-Gender Jimmy" and "James Tala-FREAKO."

Republican congressman Brandon Gill on the same stage went after Talarico over the Daily Wire report earlier this year on the time he said the thing he loved most in the world was "trans children."

St. Andrew's, the church where Talarico delivered his sermon that asserted that "our trans community needs abortion care too," says it offers banned books so that children can find "affirmation in the books they read." It boasts that the books "shift our perspective, develop empathy, and see more clearly the call to justice among all people."

"We are a safe haven for controversial narratives right in the heart of Texas, the state that takes the top prize in challenged books. Take a moment to browse our collection of banned books and see what you notice ... common themes ... particular experiences and identities being censored," the church says of its banned books collection.

Talarico has voted in the state legislature against keeping men out of women's sports and claimed it was "abusive" and "destructive" if parents did not accept their child's alleged gender identity.

He has also stated his belief that "god is nonbinary," and that Jesus was a "radical feminist."

Now that the primary is over, Paxton and the GOP are finally running ads against this blasphemous gay weirdo.

Here's another ad talking about Talarico crowing that his was the first campaign to add "pronouns" to their business cards, and thanking Jesus for helping him cure his "my whiteness and my masculinity." Dude, I don't think Jesus had anything to do with curing you of masculinity. I think it was just genetics.

And he was also very proud that his campaign is officially "meat-free" and buys only vegan products from ethical producers:

What he means by that is that Talarico never talks about Christ except to twist his words to support a far-left/transgender extremist agenda item. He never talks about the sacrifice of Christ, nor the salvation he offers. He never asks for prayer nor offers them.

Guess I'd better go drop some dough on Paxton's campaign and get a couple of signs for my yard. Thankfully, we have a fence and used to have big dogs - the liberal weenies are too afraid to come all the way up to the porch to steal/destroy stuff.

For some reason CA voted Republican in every presidential election from 1968 to 1988, but the state was NOT and never has been "rocked ribbed conservative". A lot of Democrats in Texas 60 years ago were probably more conservative 60 years ago than CA Republicans.

Possibly in Senate races. Governor's races are always idiosyncratic depending on a mini version of presidential turnover. Democrats might win Iowa but lose Kansas due to prior unpopular incumbents.

House races, the money is going to the very few swing districts and I think Iowa may have two of them from memory.

North Carolina was an aberration in 2024 with Robinson performing really poorly against Stein. Similar results the next year in Virginia with Winsome-Earle Sears. Both GOP candidates were in the low 40's percentage wise.

I've seen people compare him to Jim Jordan. Both spend a lot of time on conservative media. Jordan is always doing investigations that go nowhere, while Roy is always proposing bills that go nowhere. I think he's represented his state well since a few years after the crash of 2008. (Nationalize the banks, he said...oh boy...)

He's effectively a backbencher at this point for all the noise he makes now, which is just this side of none. He just hitched himself to Trump once he realized that Trump was the future of the party (which took longer than some, but a lot less than many others), cheered when Trump bombed someone, voted for all the judicial nominees without complaint, and generally just developed a seemingly warm professional relationship with the party's standard bearer.

Mix that with his general ability to appeal to people in his state through keeping his presence (he visits VA hospitals regularly, I have a friend who met him that way when she was a secretary at one in Charleston), has the best constituent services operation in maybe the nation (inherited from Strom Thurmond), and does everything he can to keep close to the military community in the state.

He's set.

He's going to win this primary by 60 points, and he should be set for the next one in 2032, too.
