>>And the tax should not stop at billionaires, it must reach centimillionaires. The tax has to reach all fortunes $50 million and up, and one already does. Every year it has been introduced, I have cosponsored the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act. It starts at $50 million: 2 percent a year on wealth above that line, And it reaches the money inside irrevocable trusts, taxed to the grantor who set them up. Moving a fortune into a trust should not take it off the books from a wealth tax.

96 Afternoon Ace, happy 4th eve.
Watched Mamdani's speech. They are really going for a communist takeover. His whole language and US story was meant to get "victims" to rise up. Bad times ahead, but celebrate the 4th at least to say eff u commies

Today's top stories are meanspirited. Don't give them or any of their ilk any credence whatsoever. Celebrate our Independence Day. We'll be fine.

BTW, I won't even glance at or listen to any 'celebration' on msm not tied to the history of the nation and our Independence Day, whether from Philadelphia or something like Macy's fireworks. I'm but one person, but that's my red line.

"Britain's NHS now spends more money settling maternity malpractice suits than it does on providing maternity care."

I'm sure that backlog of six million patients and the DEI staffers have nothing to do with it. I'd like to see a remake of Carry On, Doctor! with all the new NHS features.

Who pays for the police security surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's reported Madison Square Garden celebrations is currently unclear and a subject of political debate.

The extensive NYPD security detail required for the multi-day event is estimated to cost taxpayers over $160,000, which has sparked significant discussion.

About the hungriest I ever remember getting, didn't have breakfast or ate much the day before and was away at a campsite working repair and cleaning. Long day working without food and I was ravenous. I got a sandwich, bad choice. I started cramming that thing in my mouth and almost bit off a few fingers. I drew blood. Didn't stop eating though.

The outright hatred of our country from within as we approach the semiquincentennial has me discouraged and sad, moreso than usual. I look around me at the casual venom dispensed by the youth, to the point of murderousness in many cases, and actual murder in select cases, and wonder what there is to be done.
