Not good for either party. Ducks poop more regularly than just about any animal out there. They are, definitely, pooping in that pool. Anybody using that pool runs a high risk of conjunctivitis (pink eye)...which isn't fun.
Chorine is, likely, in that pool, and guess what. Chlorine is bad for ducks and can cause significant health issues if they swim in or drink it regularly. It strips the natural oils from their feathers, leading to waterlogging, and can damage their kidneys if consumed.
I have a pool. I regularly have to contend with the errant Canadian goose who likes to explore up from the pond down in the pasture. Some people think fences around pools are to keep the kids in the neighborhood from drowing accidentally. I could care leas about those brats. I just want to keep the geese out of my pool.

WWI in Italy was like France but more so. Eleven? Twelve? Thirteen? Battles on the Isonzo River line for no purpose, and when that wasn't dumb enough they did some offensives in the Alps for added futility. Then the Germans popped in and bounced the whole line back about 4 river lines in a flash.

We tend to forget that neither Italy nor Germany were what we think of those two countries today. Italy in particular had the Papal States, the Southern Districts, the Alpine Districts, Venice, and a couple of other city-states, none of whom particularly cared for the other and often times were at war internally as well. "Ruling" Italy was a crap shoot at best. Germany had parts of Prussia, parts of France, and who knows what all, and they likewise did not necessarily get along well. Sometimes it was Catholic vs. Protestant, but more often it was this ruling duchy against that one.
Each was a microcosm of the rest of Europe. More tribal than pre-Columbian America.

Part of treating Type II diabetes is removing weight from the equation. I'm on Mounjaro to control my AIC, but it also kills off hunger, so I suspect I'm losing some weight. I know lots of people just use it to lose weight, but if it works, who are we to judge that?
For reference, I've been on 1400 cal/day for three years and haven't lost an ounce. Now I'm on Mounjaro and 1400 cal/day, and I've lost about three pounds, and my AIC is way low at long last. Nothing was budging before, and lower than 1400 cal is not healthy or sustainable in the long run. So, there's that.

We had several around here, groceries and pharmacies both. One regular (as opposed to Neighborhood Market) Walmart was open 24/7; there was another grocery chain where I'd stop after my late-night radio shift, and a lot of the Walgreens stores were 24-hour. Now we have one Walgreens on this side of the river that is open all night, and it's staffed even in the daytime with some of the rudest and stupidest clerks I've ever encountered; so I never go in there.

That sequence was taken maybe 40 minutes or so after TLI, and that is indeed how fast the earth was shrinking over less than a minute, so fast were they going then. And see all the little dots of light? Those are satellites reflecting sunlight. You can see the north and south aurora flickering. And it's claimed you can see lightning flashes all over, but I can't really tell.
That's the night side of earth, camera ISO turned way up. The Sun is on the other side, and the earth is being lit by moonlight. This was not possible back in the Apollo days with film.

Agreed. Carnival was decent 10-15 years ago. I probably won't go on them again after the last one a couple years back. No section-8 brawls at the buffet, but about that level of trashy.
Royal is pretty fun, though, and I haven't had a bad cruise on their ships.
And they're less crowded; Carnival puts about 30% more cabins on the same size ships compared to Royal, I think. They've become the Spirit Airlines of cruises.

Exactly. Royals buffet area is always big and spacious. Their ships seems to always have more area to move around. I was on the maiden voyage cruise of the Grand Princess from the Princess line. The buffet area was so chopped up and laid out so stupid and cramped you felt like a rat running a maze.

And OBDII code reader should be able to identify which O2 sensor is bad. Might just be a bad wire, too. Sensors are down low on exhaust pipe, and wires can get snagged by debris on road. There should be 4 sensors, two upstream of the cats that tell the ECM what the fuel burn is doing, and two downstream, to verify that the cats are properly burning the unburned hydrocarbons.
Most autoparts stores can read codes for you; you should not have to be guessing.

So, there are several different personality types regarding food, and I think only a couple are well-suited to use a GLP-1 well. One is the very disciplined type, like garrett who quits smoking every year for cycling, and there are similarly people who can treat their eating like dialing in settings on a bio machine.
A type that would not manage it well is food addicts who will use the first type as an excuse for not managing their mindset, setting themselves up for failure by pretending they "just need to use willpower" like the disciplined ones. They will crash diet for awhile, then bounce back in perpetual yo-yos, and GLP-1s would just add oomph to the crash phase.

I feel bad for the control addicts in this case, because they are likely to end up abusing GLP-1s to the point of anorexia. They might look like the disciplined ones superficially, at first, but they are not in control of their need to feel in control. And healthy maintenance doesn't feed that need, since it's not visibly forcing themselves beyond limits.
But there is one other group that can use them well, and that is the type that can "manage themselves on purpose," accepting that they have irrational drives to manipulate and triggers to avoid. They might need professional help, but ultimately they can pick out a set of eating habits that would suffice to sustain the target weight and nothing more. Then, by eating that way, they might only lose as little as a pound a week; but then, upon reaching the target weight, they would not have to change a single solitary habit. GLP-1s add the advantage of removing temptation, making it easier to stick to it, so then they might need to find a small maintenance dose (perhaps with a compounding pharmacy or whatever they're called).
But there is no such thing as magic bullets where human psychology is involved.

Downstream sensors usually don't affect how the car runs. They are there to ensure that the catalytic converters are performing as they should. But if you have to do emissions testing they needs to be working.
Check for damaged wires. Uncouple and reconnect the harness plugs to the sensors. Might clear some subtle corrosion causing a fault signal.

First was NBC rewrites Kimba the White Lion for an American audience.

For aberration, there is the English dub of Ghost Story where the whole staff went full LeRoy Jenkins on mangling the script to shockingly funny effect.
For awhile we had more professional translations- thanks Neil Nadelman and other real fans.
But then the Canadians and Funimation started to dominate the American side and things went to scheiss.
Maybe we will now see a swing back to accurate translations because the Japanese will use AI.

Anime is usually better in Japanese with subtitles.
1. The Japanese voice actors are almost always technically better, which is at least better for all the foley effects (everything but the talking)
B. The localization of the dubbed version will usually be more "Americanized" than the subtitled version, which may help with some of those themes. When they're identical, all the weebs (shifty eyes) decry the "dubtitles."

Okay, according to Kelley Blue book, that is Bank 1, sensor 2. The downstream O2 sensor for the cylinder bank containing #1 cylinder. On a typical American V8, that would be the left side. For a transverse-mounted V6, you will have to find cylinder #1, and trace which exhaust pipe connects to it.

The Ozempic pens have tight control over the dose by means of clicks. There are a bunch of calibration lines, labeled at a few points. Mine is labeled at 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg, with a number of lines in between. I'll try to remember to count next time. Anyway, getting an intermediate dose would be no problem with the existing pens.
I haven't had to take daily insulin in over a year, and that's a good thing.

I replaced both downstreams on hubby's car (years ago) and can only recall that it was a dirty, crusty job. Those things seemed welded in place, so penetrating oil like PB Blaster helped a lot! Just don't get it on the wires...

496, has the car by any chance been mysteriously losing coolant or brake fluid? If those fluids have needed unusual topping up, there might be head gasket leak (in the case of coolant) or master cylinder leak (in the case of brake fluid) permitting the leaked fluid to be burned in the engine. Combustion products of burned coolant or brake fluid can "poison" catalysts and O2 sensors.

Not to my knowledge... I will check the levels. The most common reason for the light combo on the dash is a loose gas cap. I was hoping that was it.
