Fauci Advisor David Morens -- Whom Biden Forgot to Pardon -- Arrested and Charged for Conspiracy and Destruction of Federal Records Related to Fauci's COVID Cover-Up
Update! Is Peter Daszak Next?!

There are dozens of criminals Biden's Autopen Autocrats were too incompetent to pardon. Arrest and jail them all.

Dr. David M. Morens, a former top adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci, was arrested and charged Tuesday with conspiracy and destruction of federal records in one of the first cases to allege a cover-up in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The charges -- brought by the FBI, Justice Department and the U.S. Health and Human Services inspector general -- allege the former senior scientific adviser at the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Fauci led for 38 years, committed conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting.

Morens, 78, of Chester, Md., served as a senior advisor in NIAID's Office of the Director from 2006 through 2022, the year Fauci retired.

...

The filing of the charges was immediately praised by two powerful investigative chairmen in Congress who had alleged Morens was destroying records and using private email to keep information about the coronavirus and its origins from Congress.

"More than two years ago, my PSI staff discovered and made public emails in which Dr. David Morens bragged to colleagues about his efforts to avoid transparency by destroying federal records and using his personal email to communicate on 'sensitive issues,'" said Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.

...

"The House Oversight Committee's Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic uncovered evidence revealing Dr. Morens -- a top advisor to Dr. Fauci -- intentionally took action to conceal and falsify records about the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic," Comer said. "We caught Dr. Morens red-handed as he boasted in emails about how the 'FOIA lady' coached him on how to hide records and cover-up information. I applaud the Trump Justice Department for taking action to hold this public official accountable for hiding information from the American people. No one is above the law and under the Trump Administration, overdue accountability is finally here."

I believe Morens bragged about deliberately misspelling key words in emails so that when his records were subpoenaed -- and remember, when records are subpoenaed, only those records containing keywords approved by a judge are actually searched for, so if you deliberately misspell "COVID" as "CVOID" it won't be found -- his nefarious schemes to bury evidence that COVID was created by his pals at the Wuhan lab wouldn't be found.

The indictment alleges that Morens:

Conspired with two others during the COVID-19 pandemic to defraud and commit several offenses against the United States after NIH terminated a grant called Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence based on allegations that COVID-19 emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China.

Conspired with others to restore the termination of the bat coronavirus grant and counter the narrative that COVID-19 leaked from a lab.

Agreed in writing to intentionally hide from public view their communications by corresponding using Morens's personal Gmail account, rather than his official NIH email account.

Received a gratuity in the form of wine for his "behind-the-scenes shenanigans," and identified an official act that he could perform to "deserve" the gift, which was a scientific commentary in a prominent medical journal advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins.

Update: Charging document here, if you want to give it a once-over.

Update!: Fauci's butt-buddy in corruption, Peter Daszak, the head of EcoHealth who was used as a cut-out to illegally fund the Wuhan lab, is almost certainly the man the indictment calls "CO-CONSPIRATOR," and should be the next to be arrested and charged.

The plenary power of the president to pardon is so unquestioned and clear in the Constitution any challenge to it is going to be...difficult.

When it comes to the pardons of the last couple of days of Biden's presidency, well, he was around. "Yes, I authorized the use of the autopen for that," will be all he'd need to say.

There are a handful of uses of the autopen from when he was on vacation that would easier to target for challenge, but those last minute ones would be a waste of time and money to challenge in court.

46 I saw a post on Farcebook where someone said, "The best part of being a conspiracy theorist is not getting Myocarditis."

And there were a number of responses along the lines of, "Well I got the covid vaccine and I don't have Myocarditis either!"

But this sort of misses the forest for the trees. The argument was a high percentage of people that did not get the clot shot would die from COVID, in addition to spreading it to their unvaccinated friends, leading to a mass die off. This was the argument the government used for its mandates.

And yet the pure bloods are still here...and with a much lower rate of Myocarditis then the clot shotted...

Is the DOJ even pursuing that anymore?

Posted by: ShainS at April 28, 2026 01:25 PM (VdTX+)

======

-------
Not necessary, as of caselaw right now, presidential pardons do not apply to states (litigation involving Tina Peters is slowly ascending there). So any state can probably dig up enough charges on state grounds for Fauci to spend the rest of his life in court (see Palko v. CT) along with state civil lawsuits to bankrupt the bastard.

When one constitutional provision seems to close a door, you often can open a window to achieve much of the same purpose.

It was fate for us to meet out West. A crazy fate, however, yet it was written in the stars and why I rarely dated in HS and my first two years of college. He was on the distant horizon.

94 Interesting crow activity here too, ace. All spring, crows harass some big raptor (not a redtail hawk, those haven't been seen in a long time and it's presumed this other bird, possibly a Coopers hawk, has driven them out - though the new raptor is smaller than a Coopers hawk .... bit of a mystery). As if they have nests nearby, which they must.

But the more interesting crow activity, which seems to have stopped for now - every dusk, there's a giant massed flight of crows westward towards the coast. Passes right by/over me. Sometimes some of them will stop here - power lines and roofs are covered with them, it's like "The Birds". Then all at once off they go.

The numbers are impressive. When the stream doesn't pause, it goes on for a few minutes, hundreds of crows. WTF with all that? Should really look into it. Neighbors and friends talk about it too.

Some crows locally will make a rookery of sorts in the hills, and commute back and forth evening and night to the river. I call them the commuters. An old-timer told me a story about wandering into one of those groups at dusk during deer season, said it was really eerie.
I think they split into pairs during the spring to nest and forage, and get together in the fall - they mate for life, or at least until one of them dies.
The other thing is that the yearling crows have a sort of wandering period where they go off in adolescent packs to go be stupid and learn to survive, and then go back to the group when they settle down a bit

Things have settled down for them and they are content along with the man I married. I kept waiting for the parent birds to peck his eyes out.

That is not the history of pardons going way back to the Whiskey Rebellion and before that royal usage which is how the president got the pardon power in the first place.

The rules are generally that you can be very specific about the person or very specific about the event (aka Jan 6 or Vietnam draft evaders) so that the courts can know who is pardoned and who is not.

The pardon power is a circuit breaker given our Constitution is based on negative, government shalt no do...., liberties. And the view is that an executive provides a means of mercy for those that the law convicts but are morally not guilty. And a means of reconciling society in mass pardons rather than stirring the pot.

As someone who used to work with big data back in the day and databases, the easiest way to hide something is make it something that cannot be indexed properly by known techniques. Inserting junk data. E.g. change your facts up on any birthdates, address, phone numbers, emails, etc. on each big data non government submission (warranties, sweepstakes, etc.) which can make it much harder to determine by Big Data that you are the same person to target. Even inserting illegal characters and bad handwriting can do that as well.

Feeder? No feeder will attract a crow.

To get specific:

Get a heavy ceramic or baked-clay dish/bowl. What I used was the bottom round "water-catching tray" (not sure if there's a separate name for them) from a standard red clay plant-growing pot. But anything random will do, as low as it's fairly heavy and has side walls 2 inches or more high. (I'm being too detailed on this trivial detail - -basically, get a big dish.)

Put the dish somewhere very visible and elevated, preferably on a flat stable surface.

Put into the dish about a cups's worth of dry puppy chow, cat chow or dog chow with smallish pieces.

Sprinkle a few random puppy chow bits around the dish.

Wait. Crows will come.

=====

The best part of the FL redistricting is that the new map is more constitutional (regarding the state's founding document) than the current one.

It's more compact, with more sensibly designed districts, and still balances the requirements around partisanship and race.

There's another map going around from Democrats that creates a blue district from Jacksonville to Tallahassee that Democrats are calling fair.

Party whips and a large majority allow them to do that. If the GOP had a 240-195 majority in the House, they could do the same thing. Defectors get hammered and closets as offices on the top floor of the Cannon House Office Building and no calls returned.

Same with GOP in the Senate which is why the leaders try to sabotage to keep it under 55 for either side. You don't have mavericks much in large majorities as that costs a person. Narrow majorities lead to members of Congress leading their best lives as traitors and defectors claiming principle. Good protection for the corrupt as well.

219 Anyone checked in on the left about this and the fact the VA Supreme Court won’t let the redistricting go into effect while it’s being litigated? All the while Fl is moving ahead with their redistricting?
---
The fun part about this is the stated reason for VA, that they must begin the primaries.

Which, I presume, under law (ha! now they want to follow the law) requires a certain number of days for the primary campaign, for run-off and all must be completed such number of days before the General starts, which IIRC, is September in VA.

220 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again right now: The government response to covid was the worst government action in my lifetime… the lies, the coverups, the intentional destruction of lives, reputations, livelihoods, freedoms… it was all nefarious and ugly and anti-American…. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing at the height of the lockdowns and mask mandates and jab mandates… awful and evil.

Any accountability that can happen I’m all for it

Oh… and how many young kids did they destroy with their lockdowns and “remote school”… the restaurant industry has never been the same. I could go on and on

It was the proper decision and we did it.

The problem is that we stopped executing traitors too soon.

293 Speaking of raging drunks… the YouTube algorithm showed me a fascinating video yesterday: interview with Sammy Hagar about some Van Halen tour back in the 90s. Eddie Van Halen was a crazy man… constantly drunk and high on drugs… beating the crap out of anything including hotel rooms and (most notably) smashing wine bottles on the airplane windows of a private jet trying to break them at 30,000 feet. Just a raving out of control lunatic. Hagar thought he’d drop dead at any moment….. and this was Sammy Hagar calling someone else out of control!!

Kash can’t hold a candle….

Doesn't that play into the Dem "case" that Trump is an "existential threat"?

There are reasons why Jefferson is not my favorite.

297 Virginian Democrats got greedy probably to help make Spanberger a new contender for 2028 prezzie race or for one of the Senate seats (Kaine and Warner are getting pretty old and stale there).

They started too late for the constitution requirements for amendments and complying with statutes on referendum but VA Dems just had to know the number of seats in flux from other state's redistricting efforts. They are as clumsy as they are stupid. Instead, they aimed at trying to circumvent the losses to come from ending of VRA application of majority minority districts and Florida redistricting.

You make good, logical arguments. Unfortunately, such things have become increasingly irrelevant in our judicial system.

I felt special.

Super Advanced Grandmaster Crow--Luring Technique, if they don't show up after a week:

Fill a lidded bottle/jar/can about 1/3 of the way with the puppy chow. Go out on your deck and loudly shake it so the rattling sound can be heard around the neighborhood. Then very grandiosely, with big arm movements, pour (or just pretend to pout) some of the kibble into the dish. Then re-cap the bottle and shake it again.

Do this repeatedly, once a day. The crows will get curious.

Most likely to be chucked about one year before general election. Right now he is being propped up as a spear catcher by his cabinet as they can do as they please while he take the blame.

The rentboy arson trials involving Starmer are just another embarrassment for him and his wife/family.

Won't help Labor much in the end (see Sunak as the sacrificial PM for Conservatives in 2024) but it allows Labor to apply a fresh paint job on the shipwreck in office.

Treason is defined in the Constitution.

Omar will probably call him King Charles Triple Eye. Thinking James Bond, 007.

I don't think Omar is going to recover from her eleven World Wars somehow. We are having too much fun.

I'd rather have her deported for marrying her brother and bazillions in fraud.
