The ratings show that CBS Nightly News has lost almost 2M viewers as the same progressive viewers who watch 60 Minutes, Colbert, et al, tune out from a nightly newscast that doesn't reinforce their biases and progressive beliefs.
There's plenty of other options available for them on the other Alphabet networks, CNN, MSNOW, PBS etc.

Plus the estimated 518,428 child deaths *so far* from trump and friends cutting off the USAID funds that were already approved.
Its kinda crazy that we have a president who has committed so many crimes, that committing war crimes including the death of almost 200 children isn’t even in the top 5 crimes listed by his would-be assassin.

I see people saying this, but the setup as I saw it on TV looked pretty reasonable given the event was at a hotel. The shooter *was* flagged by the metal detector, and ultimately there was no real danger to Trump or anyone in the actual ballroom.
The correct fix is to shitcan Boasberg and build the WH ballroom.

The problem is impeachment itself.
Impeach in the House, 53 Republicans vote to convict in the Senate but no Democrat (yes, including Fetterman) votes to convict, meaning that the judge is acquitted. It's affirmation that Leon is doing the right thing since the Senate acquitted him of the charges.
Failed impeachments just make the target stronger politically.
And trying to shame Democrats into acting all partisany will convince just this side of no one.
It's a constitutional and structural issue that we don't really have a solution for.
