Despite extensive research, I could not find a single example of Tucker acknowledging the extraordinarily well-documented fact that six million Jews were exterminated in the Holocaust. Tucker got good at knocking down Dems to the point that they no longer wanted to even go on his show to run out the clock and concern troll. But he's always shown a slight tendency not to regulate his speech and effuse too much. Even back when he was perhaps my favorite commentator.

It swooped down over the top on my car on Hwy 99 as I was going 35 mph, landed about 10 feet in front of me and I ran over him. It was a sickening thud that I can still hear. And then in my rear view mirror, a blast of black feathers.

About two weeks later, we had a huge flock of crows in the surrounding trees so I guess I passed some kind of test.

He went into this period where he really thrived on headpats from old-fashioned liberals like Greenwald and Schellenberger, and that drove him to be more-conscientious-than-thou to the point that on the still-quite-lib Joe Rogan show he thought he would impress him by making an unequivocal statement about the "evil" of Hiroshima.

And, again, even while I was a fan, I noticed tendencies that weren't so good, and this one is key: Tucker can confuse doubling down with integrity.

If the first seacan you open is stacked full of plastic drums full of ammonium perchlorate, and that is the contraband you are looking for, then one and done. But what if the contraband is packed in ones and twos in the very back of each seacan? To do a thorough search, you really have to dock the ship, offload all the containers, and empty out each one.

It really seemed--even to them--like the Lord was not taking any more sacrifices.

Someone had run over the mother duck and the ducklings were scattered alll about the road, so people were stopping to take the ducklings off the road and bring them home to raise.
We had Yankee for a couple of years till she matured enough and I taught her to fly because Dad thought we should bring her back to nature.
We let her go in a lake where there were other mallards near Love Field.
The other ducks were pretty mean at first, but after a while I guess the pecking order was established and she was okay.

As to the VA redistricting question (mentioned in the podcast), I voted this morning. Obviously I voted No. I think almost the only signs I've seen around here for voting Yes were outside the polling place (far enough away to be legit). No signs are everywhere.

I think some people, Qatar among others, gave him serious money, over 100 million dollars, and expect results. He probably claimed to be some sort of super influencer and they believed him. Now they are surprised and disappointed to see that his influence did not amount to much. He doesn't want to disappoint them.

I recall the song was inspired by Geddy's parents surviving concentration camps, but Peart kept the lyrics ambiguous enough to apply to any concentration-camp setting (including possibly even alien).

Rabbinical Judaism was already in co-existence from the exile in Babylon at the time of Christ. They too could not sacrifice at the Temple nor go to the religious festivals in their homeland.

It was, but it never touted its authority as a "Secret Second Torah that must never be written down." It taught from the "Law and the Prophets" the principles of obeying God's Law.
But the temple was eminent and so were the Sadducees for that reason. Christians, solely, keep alive the centrality of the sacrifice by the centrality of Jesus' atoning sacrifice which was all that temple sacrifice was meant to point to.

I know there has been real enmity over the centuries but it’s always been silly. I remember John MacArthur ( one of my heroes) sitting down to have a very civil respectful discussion with Ben Shapiro…. They didn’t mince words or pretend there weren’t significant doctrinal differences… but it was respectful, as it should be.
