Iran-Linked Group Attacks Synogogue in the UK;
Keir Starmer Refuses to Ban the IRGC in Britain

In fairness, Keir Starmer can't even protect his own properties from arson by strangely-antagonistic gay Ukranian male model rent-boys.

Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis
@chiefrabbi

Last night yet another synagogue, this time in Kenton, was targeted in a cowardly arson attack. It follows the attack in Finchley on Wednesday and the attempted attack on what was the Jewish Futures building in Hendon on Friday night, making three Jewish sites attacked in London in less than a week.

A sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the Jewish community of the UK is gathering momentum. This sustained attack on our community's ability to worship and live in safety is an attack on the values that bind us all together. Thank God, no lives have been lost, but we cannot, and must not, wait for that to change before we understand just how dangerous this moment is for all of our society.

The IRGC -- a notorious and inarguable world sponsor of terror -- continues operating in the UK with the full blessing of Starmer's illegitimate traitor-government.

Arson attempt hits London synagogue; Iran-linked group claims attack

UK Chief Rabbi Mirvis: A 'sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the Jewish community'; no injuries reported; counter-terror police investigating

Despite the fact that an Iran-linked terror group has already claimed responsibility, UK police are continuing to say they don't know if this is terrorism and (say it with me) The Motive May Never Be Known, Allah-Willing.

A synagogue in northwest London was targeted in an arson attack overnight Sunday, officials said, in the latest in a string of assaults in recent weeks that Britain's chief rabbi called a "sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the Jewish community."

There was minor smoke damage to a room inside Kenton United Synagogue, the Community Security Trust (CST) said, after police and fire teams were called to the Jewish house of worship.

A pro-Iranian government Islamist group, which says it is also behind a spate of attacks across Europe on US, Israeli and Jewish targets, said on Sunday afternoon that it was responsible for the overnight attack.

UK counter-terrorism police, in the wake of the incident, said they were heading up investigations into the incidents.

...

The newly founded Islamist group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI), or Movement of the Companions of the Right Hand of Islam, said in a statement published on Telegram on Sunday afternoon that it had targeted Kenton United Synagogue because it is "one of the centers of Zionist influence in the British capital."

The synagogue, it claimed, "holds ceremonies such as 'Shabbat for Israel,' and sings the so-called 'Hatikvah' anthem in support of the Israeli occupation."

Among other perceived crimes, it said the synagogue had hosted relatives of one of the hostage soldiers abducted by Hamas in the terror group's October 7, 2023, attack.

Identifying the synagogue's leadership by name, the group accused them of being "key instruments of this Zionist base in London."

Separately, the UK’s The Sunday Times said the Islamist group has also claimed responsibility for a Friday night arson attack on a London building that was formerly used by a Jewish organization.

Remember the old saying: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety". Often attributed to Benjamin Franklin, it suggests that sacrificing freedom for security results in losing both.

Starmer thinks what he's doing will keep the Muslim vote, and it might, but they aren't so numerous yet that the real English won't turn against him and he'll end up losing office, while Labour ceases to be a viable Party.

Also, that none of this should be "run on". In other words, in a democracy, the "democrats" think that they should be able to stack the deck about how government power is exercised and who needs a public referendum on that?!!

Fascists like a good one-party state, just like the Dems.

It's more than that. Queer Starmer is worried about losing his head. Literally. He knows that Muslims react with murderous violence when they don't get their way.

As I've said 100x before, the reason Muslims have so much power no matter where they go is because of their well-deserved reputation for barbarism and violence, even against their own daughters. They're insane. People rightfully fear them.

Nobody fears Christians or Jews (or any other religion).

That was Spanburgers strat in VA and it worked didn't it?

And the funny thing is this is a long term pattern - if you make elections about issues the right usually wins. If they are about nothing the left usually wins.

Gov Glenn Youngkin didn't actually do much as governor. So it was easy for the CIA agent to run as a nicer "I won't do anything" governor since she has the FNM behind her...

Of course its a conspiracy. Its not organic. There is clearly a drive towards erasing national boundaries, globalism, rule by bureaucrat committee. I mean, if you planned on taking over the world, wouldnt it be easier to have it all organized under one or maybe only a few governments instead close to 200??? I mean, seriously, I'm not gonna come out and try to wrangle that hot mess. No. Organize it into a nice pile or two tops. Then I'll come out to play.

It's atheism.

To put it shortly.

Although the modern "atheist" claims that it only means a disbelief in God or gods, it's hard to find many atheists who don't believe that "freewill" is an equally irrational religious view (even though "freewill" has long been a part of atheist theory.)

This illustrates that what is disbelieved increases. What is partitioned off as "irrationality" increases. Soon, what is "equality"?

I believe in one--and only one--basis of equality. And it doesn't follow me into a atheist, empirical context. And once we remove the "providence of God", we come to depend on the "scientific management" of as many of the masses as we can't fully get rid of yet.

157 "Ol' Blighty" (not Blightly, my typing fingers have a mind of their own).

By the way from Wikipedia-

"Blighty" is a British English slang term for Great Britain, or often specifically England. Though it was used throughout the 1800s in the Indian subcontinent to mean an English or British visitor, it was first used during the Boer War in the specific meaning of homeland for the English or the British. From World War I and afterward, that use of the term became widespread.
Etymology
The word ultimately derives from the Persian-derived Bengali word bilētī (or even from regional Hindustani language (i.e., Eastern Hindi) with the use of b replacing v/w), meaning 'foreign', which more specifically came to mean 'European', and 'British'/'English' during the time of the British Raj. The Bengali word bilētī is itself a loan of Indian Persian wilāyatī (ولایاتی, from wilāyat (ولایت usually to mean 'Iran' and later 'the West', 'Europe' or 'Britain'/'England', ultimately from Arabic wilāyah (ولاية‎ meaning 'state, province'.

The term subsequently gained an ironic connotation in its closeness to the English word blight, which means "epidemic."

One guy just posted he hit $1M in his investment accounts at 40 which is quite impressive. Two things stood out:

1) he mentioned in passing he's driving an old beater and doesn't really eat out. Yes, I know this infuriates many people in investment discussions but spending less and investing instead does make a difference over the long term

2) Someone else noted they thought if they had $1M invested they'd be "rich" and driving fancy cars and living in a mansion...well...thank Bidenflation...$1M in 2026 is worth about $500K in 2020...

Religion contains neither the rule that
1. God explains everything, and thus through that the religion, or
2. Man should be able to comprehend everything.

Especially not a religion that gives us the example of Job. When pressed by God about what Job knows about how the Lord created and patterns the universe said (basically) "I'm going to shut up now."

I'm just as curious about this answer as anyone on the other side may feign to be when asking it.

But it should be clear by now--in an empirical sense, that you cannot get the gains we got under Western Civilization by atheistic pessimism.

I remember in a discussion between Jordan Peterson and Alex O'Connor (lefty/atheist) the latter mentioned that yes, fine, western Christian societies have certainly been better then others in both subjective things like freedom and objective things like average person's wealth but...that doesn't mean their religion had anything to do with it

And its funny that Christianity just happened to accidently do that isn't it?

Especially if you assume religion isn't "real" you should look very, very carefully at what its value to society is. And frankly, everyone should want a Protest Christian religion even if they thing it is hogwash by its objective results...

235 The concept that *I* am a *creation*. A substance made to be entirely separate from God suggests in inherently that I am something.

There would be no purpose in God creating nothing that could not be something on its own. And so there is dumb matter and their is aware matter. And aware matter has at least a thread of control over its development.

So it is necessary by the logic of Creation, that God's foreknowledge of our actions does not determine those actions. Time manifests for our learning, so that we can see our elaboration of what we choose. We see ourselves forming over time. But God sees any shape we manifest.

Anything else, and life, I strongly believe, is almost equally as futile.

260 I remember in a discussion between Jordan Peterson and Alex O'Connor (lefty/atheist) the latter mentioned that yes, fine, western Christian societies have certainly been better then others in both subjective things like freedom and objective things like average person's wealth but...that doesn't mean their religion had anything to do with it

And its funny that Christianity just happened to accidently do that isn't it?

Posted by: 18-1 at April 20, 2026 03:44 PM (sKqQm)
---
As a long-time methodological skeptic, I would actually indulge that skepticism as well.

We learn empirically what works and what doesn't. The speculation that we can just rip the Christian guts out of what we might agree works in that situation, is just that nothing but speculation.

Perhaps we can agree on 2 things. It is not decided that the Christian religion had everying to do with this. However, it's also perhaps not decidable that it didn't.

However, Christianity has the only theory where I would ever want somebody to refer to my "human worth". (tbc)

"Worth" is a word very similar in origin to the Latin root "vert", "to turn". And it's clear what it means in the marketplace: "turn around". Thus the "worth" of a commodity or a good is how much you're going to get from selling it.

"Human value" is no better because "val-" is an appreciation of relative strength. Thus nobody ever suggests outside of a completely theoretical sense that humans have "equal value".

There is only one event in the view of Western Civilization in which all of humanity was equally included into a single transaction, or redemption, at such a high cost that everyone should feel blessed by the price.

We, the Lord suggests, are "worth" 1 Son of God.

Posted by: Maj. Healey at April 20, 2026 03:25 PM (abIsI)

My home state is essentially a corporate fiefdom, with many congressional members of both parties owned by those conglomerates, bought-and-paid-for assholes who draft and vote on legislation in-line with whatever their biggest donors want them to vote for. This is why Indiana produces wishy-washy Establishment Republican politicians. This is what gave us the likes of Dick Lugar and Mike Pence. It gets me to this day that I should've seen through Pence early on but I didn't, probably because I had been friends with his cousins in high school and they were/are great people. It colored my judgement of the man.

Insofar as being dull, no; rather, no more or less than any other state. You're an asshole for writing that.
